Kind of a bummer that most of them treat it like a “haha you couldn’t kill me” moment except Rasta Beast and Frog who acknowledge you not actually wanting to hurt them
I guess it's difficult to account for that, when it's just as likely that the player IS trying to kill these characters but merely couldn't do so in that particular battle. With Rasta Beast and Frog, it basically gives you the option to kill them if you didn't already do so in battle, hence why they're acknowledging your refusal to kill.
This is fascinating! All this time I thought that the battles would loop until you killed them. I find Knight-Lost-A-Lot's persistence fascinating. Like they know they have to stop you no matter how tired they get
"spare" admittedly is kind of a misleading term as this is more like just not killing the characters, but I don't want to put it in the title and thumbnail of this video the term "don't kill" especially since it massively spoils the whole point of the game.
i didn't know you could fight light being again if you didn't kill it in the flower shop! i thought it just disappeared for good and had to restart, that's nice to know.
@@RoamerTummy Speaking of Pacifist Route dialogue, I've always wondered what Frog says when you say "No" to "Do you understand they are SUFFERING?" and "Yes" to "Please, end their suffering!"
@@zer0w0lf94 Frog specifically says (after choosing Yes to the second prompt): - "Good..." - "I'm glad you changed your mind." - "Save them from this cursed world, Red!" Frog's dialogue ends and the game continues normally without Frog's fight. You can talk to Frog again (the same dialogue is repeated as if you hadn't talked to Frog already) or you can just leave the Heaven Door area and do whatever. Also, thanks for a good excuse for me to boot up the game again, it's been a while lol

What happens if you kill Frog in the pacifist route?
It's the exact same dialogue as when you don't kill Frog, which is why I didn't include it in this video.
