Each attempt at doing hitless is going to be 10 minutes long with a LONG portion of it being nothing (which means your hands will go cold from lack of motion if you don't just fiddle randomly). As much as people like all the cool flashy stuff, the hardest part in being consistent with games so you can speedrun or challenge run them is getting bored on the slow, awful parts. This part is super long, has awful hit detection, and controls nothing like the rest of the game. There was NO NEED to make an achievement for not getting hit. Merely clearing it was fine.

After trying this myself I have a new appreciation for the absurd amount of effort it took to achieve this. Jesus Christ it’s hard to describe how difficult this is but you make it look entirely effortless. Amazing work!
You'll notice the parts where he was standing on boundaries between tiles: those sections are randomized, so (per the description) it also entailed grinding for RNG that made it even possible [inb4 "randomly selecting from a list of patterns doesn't count as randomized"]
Stage 1 has to be the most unforgiving sequence I've seen in this achievement run. I pride myself in my sightreading and pattern recognition after playing months of rhythm games, but this is just impossible to get the first time you see it. At least Stage 2 gives you a chance...
