Replaced my daughters today...2013 avenger with 2.4l. Took 1 hour start to finish. Very easy and straight forward. Hardest part was not farting when crawling out front underneath.
Basic socket set and wrench set is all that's needed. If you're reading this just know you can do it!!! Good luck and thank you for the video it really helped.

I've been a mechanic for over 20 years and never thought to use the push-pin pliers on those connector "locks" that come on all of the Mopars. Pretty cool idea. I learned a new trick today lol. (And for anyone wondering why a mechanic veteran is using TH-cam: there ain't a damn thing wrong with using a video for reference lol 😊) Thanks @haynes

Gotta agree with you bro it isn't but 1/3 of the air of a full breath to just say 10mm or 1/4" etc.... & I get the guy giving u crap about needing to put a nipple on it for you but for real, it's not like it's any harder for them to just say it cuz it's not like they have to look it up or check their notes they're literally doing it as he speaks just throw in socket size with just a couple more words & it would make these videos legendary

Did you ever figure out how the hell to get it out of there on yours? If so please msg me back cuz I'm assuming you were working on the 3.6L Avenger motor like I currently am which is why ours didn't go as simply as this videos does cuz they stupidly didn't include this specific but VERY important detail in the description or if they did I didn't catch it...I've been trying for TWO DAYS to get this G.D. alternator out of here & I can yank, pull, jerk that compressor till my back breaks & it WILL NOT move out of the way far enough to get this freaking alternator out of the engine bay! So if you were successful in removing yours finally please help a fellow Avenger owner out bro I could use a tip that's for sure

Im finally watching a tutorial and found my problem right away. I have two nut on my batter positive terminal. The terminal is sandwich between two nuts. And I kept putting it back the way I found it. One of the nut looks brand new and the other is rusted and old 🤦🤦🤦🤦
