I have followed each test & have enjoyed the honesty portrayed. This is why I BEG archers to test their BH’s before ever stepping in the woods with them. One must know exactly what their set up will do in all hunting situations. We owe the animal(s) we hunt the best, most lethal shot possible & that only comes through a rigorous schedule of practice. It’s that important! Thanks Chris. I enjoy all the videos you put out.
The exact reason why I didn’t take my bow out this year, not enough practice. It was a rough summer with flooding so I didn’t get to practice as much as I wanted to. I got a lot of work to do and I’m investing in things to make me more accurate and will be investing in a membership to an indoor range this winter. I’ll be ready next year.
@@derektracy9702 I know, even with the tune, I noticed more inconsistency with rage, granted it was just a little bit, but ill try out the dead meat for a season and keep the rages as backup
Sounds weird but I've got megameats Levi morgan swhackers and reaper whitetail specials and they fly pretty well the exact as field points total arrow weight of 543grains
@@derektracy9702 I shot schwackers a few years back, my brother and I both had a blade not deploy, I guess it didn’t hit ribs but we never recovered the deer. Never tried the reapers before. You like them more then the dead meat/mega meat?
The crossbow dead meat is definitely my go to now with my new ravin crossbow. The most accurate out to 70+ yards and comes with a practice tip as well. For a 45-55 pound compound bow through the 100gr 2 blade muzzy shank in a 5 pack is hard to beat. They work just as well as the swacker but you get more for your $.
Ive always been able to shoot swackers out of the box and them be dead on. Not a bad broadhead either killed plenty of deer with them but obviously shot placement is key.
Anyone who doesn’t broadhead tune their bow before getting in the field doesn’t belong in the field because your point of impact is NOT the same as field points and you will wound many animals or miss altogether which is best case scenario. If you want to be lethal put in the work!
My personal experience was I tried the dead meat last year and it routinely twisted my arrow in the air. The schwacker though held tight regardless of distance. 🤷♂️ I guess maybe I need to upgrade to a Mathews bow to make them fly properly…or that’s my excuse. 😬
The arrow Hass to be tuned as well, not just the bow. I bet you if you raise your FOC up a little bit the consistency and accuracy will improve. I personally think all mechanical should be thrown in the trash anyway, but hopefully this shows the lazy people who don’t like tuning their bows, that even mechanicals don’t fly proper unless you do some work
Your shooting ability definitely lends credibility to a broadhead accuracy test! Keep up the great work!
His tuning ability needs some work...

I love this series, thank you so much!!! And you’re my favorite archer. I’ve learned a lot
Atleast your honest about your shots that's why enjoy watching your reviews. Keep it up man.
Used to shoot G5s. Very durable, compact, and accurate, at least with practice head.
The first arrow hit the like button thumbs up
So what is the most accurate broadhead
The one you tune your bow for
@@bigz5262he’s talking about for the video bozo
@@mikestackz854 umm, there's only one head in this video.

You’re the reason I’m switching, this video made me leave rage behind.
Good thing your leaving rages but honestly you can tune your bow to the broadheads

Not sure yet got em to try em have had most success with swhackers and heavy arrows
That's why they make practice broadheads
You should do fixed blades next
Do the annihilator Broadhead test please then tag me

After watching the full video I ordered some dead meats
hey man i’m getting into bow hunting this year do you got any tips for me
Just curious, what distance is the target.
100 yds

Shot deadmeats for years and killed a ton of deer with them. One of the shots being frontal and I can say they perform awesome
What distance was this
I could be wrong. It looks like the arrow is wiggling while flying
Good for you :)
Can you try the annihilator broadheads
Alot of shots to the upper right. Is that how your bow is sighted; in other words, where are you shooting with field tips?
If your bow is broadhead tuned properly the point of impact for field points and whatever broadhead your shooting will be the same…
What distance are you shooting at
70
how often do you practice
😂😂😂😂
What distance was this from?
There’s a full length video on the channel but I think it’s 60
W
How big is that dot
How many yards are these tests at?
70. The video he put out about all the heads said 70

What fixed broadheads would you recommend for big game animals like elk and moose. Or would you still recommend a mechanical?
Qad exodus or ramcat
Yep QAD
Wish you could have done sevr!! I love mine. They have a 1.5 and a 2.0 but they should still fly the same.
When I went from aluminum to carbon arrows, my accuracy got worse with mechanical broadheads and the weight of the head was more of a factor.
Can u do a vpa 3 blade 150g
My MegaMeat all shoot a little high right as well.
Tune your bow for them and they wont
Need to shoot a swat broadhead most accurate broadhead I’ve ever shot hands down
Sad thing is theres no way one head survived all those shots.. lol
Try rage hypodermic
That's what I use now! Very well made and stream-lined. Great wound hole too!
Not the heads faults
You’re pulling too much weight! Looks like you’re flagging down a taxi! Lol

What does your group at 70 yards look like ?
