My Lift 33 holds on target as good or better than any bow I've had. It really does feel like a target bow. It would make a great "do it all" type bow. I'm shooting 60#, 27.5" DL and getting 312 fps with my 305 grain Victory 3DHVs.
I presently have a Phase 4 29. Shortest bow I’ve ever owned. Went to the shop I frequent, and took a Lift 33 off the shelf, had the Mathew’s/ Axcel 5 pin sight on it. Adjusted the sight for the 20 yard pin. Mind you, this is right off the shelf bow. Not tuned or anything. Shot lights out. I’ll wait till November to see what the new offering will be. If it’s going to be a shorter version, I’ll order the 33 Lift.
I just bought this bow today. Earth color limbs and riser. I am very excited for this fall. I usually like the shorter bow but the string angle fit my face perfectly with the 33.
QAD = allen wrenches and little knives. Not complaining! I went with the 33 at a similar draw length for both the hybrid aspect and because I felt the draw cycle was so smooth. I also need all the stability help I can get.
+1 on Mathews releasing a 15" BL stab that isn't in the target lineup. 15 front, 10 back, great setup for the 33. Running a Lift 33 for a few months now. Performed great at TAC and shoots better than the V3X I owned
I just bought my lift 33 today without knowing this came out…..perfect timing. I had shot rx-8 hoyt, trx 34 and an elite (forgot which one) and the lift was by far the best so I took it home….
Sa Weet video goat….dont be affraid to “over do” your comments about what your doing while building the now though bud…for some this is new and knowing why your doing some things while building the bow is great information…I get that plenty have seen build videos and know..but they shouldn’t mind to much hearing it again…we just use the small stand that comes with the Garmin…placed on a counter top we shoot over it..less to store away inbetween tests…great video Chris….😊
I was thinking about getting and putting the vbar bracket in the front to angle the front bridge lock bar down and left to see how that sits. Wonder if the will off set the need of a back bar? If it works.
Question for you Chris, I currently shoot a Mathews Halon 6, but I've been looking to upgrade so I came back and watched this video so I could learn to set one up myself, I've been looking at the Lift 29.5 but if I went that route what do you think it would cost for me to get all this done by someone? I don't have a press or the best knowledge on doing this stuff even after watching this video and others I'm just scared I'd mess up, I'm 19 so i want a bow that will last me for years to come so I'm willing to spend a lot, and if I'm going to spend this much money, I'd prefer it done right. Thanks!
The lift I just got was a first shot bullet hole I shot 5 more times with 2 different arrow builds all perfect. Now I can’t get an arrow to fly true. They are all wonky. I don’t think I’m torquing the bow any either. I’ve checked that multiple times and I don’t wanna drive another 45 minutes to get it tuned then have to go back and get my other bow from the shop and get that tuned.
After holding out for literally 2 years so I could get a Mathews I just ordered a phase4 29 on eBay I havnt got it yet… but just realized Now it’s prob gonna take me the same amount of time to afford a sight and rest for it.
All I have is a hinge 2 I really been wanting get a button and a slider but man money is tight maybe one day love the videos Chris keep up good content
Chris! Love the video - this is a huge help as I’m setting mine up currently. I have another question for you - I’m noticing a little bit of wobble in your arrow flight, I’m new to this so I’m assuming this is normal? Also, Is this all that you do in terms of tuning or do you incorporate any other methods for accuracy and arrow flight characteristics. Big thanks from Alberta!
I searched months for a Lift 33 fade to black earth and finally found one. I matched it with UV Slider and an Epsilon rest. I was surprised how light it was.
It is crazy to see the number of bows he has... And here I am still hunting with my dad's pse bow that's almost 30 years old lol and could not even afford a "budget" bow
Hey, Chris Bee I shoot in the Young adult category. I shoot the Matthew's phase 4 with a 10-inch bridge lock stabilizer out the front and a spot hog fast eddie 2 pen i have been getting pretty competitive through 3D and indoor target stuff. I was wondering if you had any advice for getting sponsors for equipment and sponsors in general I would love any advice in general on how to get better and place better in competitions. Love you're Videos keep up the great work.
In your opinion, not trying to debunk or throw stones, but is the Lift really worth the buy? Buddy of mine bought one, and his limbs broke, it put a bad taste in his mouth and now he's selling it after getting his new limbs put on. I've had my mathews Z7 for 14 years now, and been wanting a new bow. Is the Lift really worth it? Heard the phase4 is better.
Kind of random but the guy that installed the grip on my 33 didn’t take off the glue and I ended up having to take it off and it took a lot of elbow grease but I got it off without breaking it thankfully
Do a video where you take us through your collection of bows, seems like your getting stacked

how did you get your arrows that light
If you aren’t using that 15 front bar, I’ll take it 😂 save me 300 bucks!!!
Petition to get this guy the front bar ⬇️
Right
Yes @@JonahSantaMaria
@@JonahSantaMaria we got the highlighted comment!😂😂 maybe Chris feels generous!
Could you ever see yourself shooting an Elite?
And ladies and gentlemen you can have the same set up for the low price of $5,000 😂
Real
$5000? You can get all of this for the low price of $3200-$3400😂😂😂
After tax the front and rear bar plus back mount are 1k..... don't think you are far off. Nice bow but getting out of hand
Brother this setup is cheaper then my Hoyt Stratos setup it cost my 4,200 after tax this bow only costs about 3,500 after tax
I have $3,900 in my fade too black

Your making me think I need to try the Lift😂 I’m a phase 4 too but it’s a 33

Gotta love it 😂

Does the whole bar measure 15”? It’s probably closer to a 12” in other brands since it starts at the back of the riser instead of the front
im looking forward to snagging a lift 33 myself maybe next year.
currently still loving my V3X 33.
I just bought my lift 33 today without knowing this came out…..perfect timing. I had shot rx-8 hoyt, trx 34 and an elite (forgot which one) and the lift was by far the best so I took it home….
Thanks for doing this buildout - always super helpful hearing the reasons why you build the rigs you do

I ordered my lift 33 earth fade to black on release day and it came last Monday and I ran 15 AAE mountain series and 10 mountain series
I love my lift 33 with a UV 30 front bar with 4oz and a UV 12 rear bar with 9 oz. Holds pretty solid.
I know this is an older video, but i am curious as to what your recommendation of poundage is at for the pull back?
Same colors I ordered mine in,bow is coming in next week
If only I could afford to have more than one Mathew’s bow. lol my phase 4 is an everything bow, hunting, target, and tac.
I was thinking about getting and putting the vbar bracket in the front to angle the front bridge lock bar down and left to see how that sits. Wonder if the will off set the need of a back bar? If it works.
Finally back at it again pretty consistant with the videos again
Finally some more bow build vids!!!! 🔥
Love the lift can’t wait to get one

man, that's a fast bow though. love the noise it makes. sounds solid on impact too. beautiful bow mate!
Do you donate the last year’s model when you get a new one in?
I need you to build my next mathews, lol. I purchased a lift 29.5, not too long ago, and it was a pain to set up at the bow shop.
How come? Picked mine up today
with all of your skills as a archer what bow do you recomend for someone starting out mathews bows
I hope you guys make a grip that accommodates the shot sense.
Chris tell how you got started and how you became a pro archer please
Listen to working class bowhunter he just did a long podcast and explained it all

Does anyone know the brand of the moveable shop light over Chris’ workstation? I’ve searched and searched and cannot find anything similar.
My goodness those arrows shoot like laser beams!
This might be a dumb question but I can buy a UV single pin and add the slider too it right? like it doesn't come with a slider?
I ordered the try before you buy and got the medium it is snug on my bare fingers should I get the larger?
I picked mine up today, accessory recommendations?
Just got my new Lift 29.5 to replace my Chill Monster R which is now my backup for western hunts.

Exact set up I have

Missed an opportunity to alternate the stabilizer weight between black and gold… like a bee. You should do that

also on the "permanant" bee real grip...
leaving the sticky on is fine if you have man strength.
if you have baby hands, yeah take it off.

Will you guys ever sell just the arm of the sight so you can change from BL to regular to hoyt
I have same front stabilizer and 12 side bar, great combo 👌
i am quite interested to see you do a fully target setup and score
What nocks are those, every nock I try is tight on the lift center serving?
Something i do not understand Chris, why do manufacturers not time them when they install the strings?
Love the vids man, big inspiration. keep it up!!
You should go bow fishing
about time you got a new knife, that kershaw is always duller than a butter knife
The RIP XV or 3DHV are the best TAC arrow made and it's not even close.
Let's go! 🏹
when is UV going to come out with a lefty sight that has the same ergonomics as the right handed sight?
Would you ever make a video about an elite ethos
Awesome bow nice!!!
would the bee real grip fit on a hoyt nitrum turbo?
Hey Chris what’s your favourite compound bow
need to get mine!
That thing shoots great
@ChrisBeeReal what kinda nocks do you use?
"Always cut towards yourselves, kids" lololololol

I will take one of those sliders if you don’t need it Chris
Thats my dream bow
What was the poundage on that bow?????????
Kind of random but the guy that installed the grip on my 33 didn’t take off the glue and I ended up having to take it off and it took a lot of elbow grease but I got it off without breaking it thankfully
Wonder why Chris never uses the engage limb legs? 🤔
Cuz they won’t fit this bow, the switched to exo legs
Nice bow hefty price tag
Shouldn't 3rd axis be checked at full draw?
You willing to sell one of your old bows?😅 I’d love to upgrade my Jennings Buckmaster
running a vxr, dreaming about a lift.

Him getting a new bow every year while I'm stuck with my 45lb kid bow that shoots 20 yards 😂 I guess I better get my money up
Bear Alaskan xt. Got the Alaskan last year and it’s been great. I can only assume the Alaskan xt is even better. (I also came from a 40lb youth bow 🤣)
Look at those big cams and split limbs and still no faster than the old bows and will cost you 3000.
