Aw look at that sky! I'm not one for granny wraps, but your looks stunning. Thanks Nancy. For all the effort you put into vlogmas. You are the best xxx❤❤❤
Dry and cold - perfect weather. Winter and Christmas time is the absolute best time for foods and treats from our youth! I can see how you would go back to your English roots - I go totally Dutch at this time of year. Until next time. Vrede en vreugde
Oh my goodness!! ORANGE CLUB BISCUITS! they are the absolute best, and Lyles treacle on toast or treacle toffee is so good!!! Quality Street used to be great when I was a kid but the recipes changed and I live in NZ now so none for me. Terry's chocolate orange does well for me though 😂
❤❤morning Nancy,,,, My morning friends,,,,Nancy and Amanda 🎉fav vloggers 😅 A great granny wrap,,,,, Love those orange club bars,,,and Terry's 🍊 Orange ELAINE 🏡💕
Yikes I looked back and realized I had missed this one. 13 is my lucky number. My first baby was born on Friday the 13th. And my first grandchild was born on the 13th. Hooray!
How great to have fun food treasures for the holidays! I baked half of my gingerbread cookies yesterday, needing to frost them today to bring for after singing Lessons and Carols program at my church tomorrow. Still finishing a Christmas blanket... knit faster?!
@@knitsiphappyBlanket is 95% finished, but I keep having interruptions, as well as having lost yarn chicken. Different colors will still yield a cozy car blanket. Plus, I don't think my grandson will care. He's nine and loves everything Mimi does for him. 💕
Interesting to see your British shopping. Tate and Lyle golden syrup is so useful in baking; gingerbread, flapjack and some cookies. Also use Tate & Lyle treacle for my Christmas cake. What were the bulk foods you were buying? 🇬🇧
Golden Syrup is not the same as black treacle. We bought our Quality Street online and paid a fortune and then found it in a local market that has a good range of British foods, still pricey compared to getting it in the UK but we didn't have any room in our cases!! Thanks for the vlogmases. Jane, expat living in CA. USA.
Hi Nancy. Each episode brings me joy. I love seeing your progress on your granny stitch shawl. Living somewhere where we don't get snow It always amazes me that one day I see in your vlogmas snow covered everything but today it was like it never happened. I hope you have a great weekend, enjoy your time off and I'm looking forward to seeing what you get up to next. How's your neck?
It's a bit of a rollercoaster weather wise here in December! My neck is getting better thanks for asking. Almost back to normal for my neck and a big dump of snow coming tomorrow 🙃
Oooh I don’t know the orange McVities! We get the chocolate Hob nobs here in Florida, at outrageous prices. My boys like HP sauce and last time we were in England, we got a huge plastic bottle on special for £1; at home we can only get a much smaller glass bottle (about half the size) for ~US$6. Still getting the stick for that Revolution I guess 😂
@ it was interesting to hear that it was more of an emotional attachment rather than ‘stuff’. Thank you for taking the time to answer. Merry Christmas Nancy. Xxx
To see that beautiful blue sky today was just wonderful! We’ve had grey drizzle here for days! Love how your granny wrap is coming along x
We certainly appreciate the blue skies at this time of year 🌞

I didn't think I was either, but I'm loving making it and the look of it, which is a bonus 🤓

Thanks Nikki 🩵 I hope December is treating you kindly 🎄

How's the blanket going Lynn? Are you going to make it? I still need to do my gingerbread. That's a Sunday job 🤓

Same...if I'd had room in my suitcase, I would have stuffed it with treats 🤓

We're still in the Commonwealth and it's not giving us any better pricing 😆😆

What things do you miss most from England Nancy?
That was a hard one to answer, but I tried on day 19 ❣️ Thanks for asking
@ it was interesting to hear that it was more of an emotional attachment rather than ‘stuff’. Thank you for taking the time to answer. Merry Christmas Nancy. Xxx
Thanks Nancy. You are looking a lot more perkier so I assume that your neck issue is resolved? 😊
I am pretty much back to normal today, which is Friday. Lots of gentle stretching this week is definitely helping me get moving 🤓
@ Hi Nancy. I wouldn’t mind being back to normal - it would make a change. 😀😀
Maybe it’s the Russian join ?
Thanks for being smarter than me Barbara 😆😆 It is a version of it, but I'm not using a darning needle to secure the ends 🤓
