I think the breakdown in this song has got to be my all time favorite. The build up to it is chaotic and intense, and then the sudden slow down, that fucking bone crunching riff and tone, and words and the way they're sung. And when the lead guitar starts that solo type whatever the fuck you'd call it Andrea-style thing, holy shit!!! That whoe part is like huge shot of adrenaline

Perfect timing. Brazil was the World Cup champion at the time in our favourite sport, the early stages of the Ultimate Fighting Championship and the rise of the Gracie family and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It all came together perfectly. I miss the 90's man...

Its called a berimbau dudes, and it is one of the coolest musical instruments ever invented, even though it can only play a very limited amount of notes. But that's not its primary role. It is used to mark the rhythm and tempo of those doing Capoeira....how quintessentially Brasilian....a funky instrument for a graceful and sensuous martial art....

It is used to mark the rhythm and tempo of those doing Capoeira....how quintessentially Brasilian....a funky instrument for a graceful and sensuous martial art....
