Igor Cavalera is one of the most underrated drummers i can think of. The tone he got out of his kit, particularly on the Chaos A.D. and Roots records, is iconic imo
I’ve always thought so too and why its not talked about as much as it needs to be. Not just the tone, but how he fuses his samba influences into death/thrash metal is innovative af. One of the best metal drummers i know of

Chaos AD is the quintessential metal record of the 90’s. This being my favorite song off the record. Riffs are incredible. Lyrically still relevant in 2019 maybe now (sadly) more than ever in America.

Orgulho de saber que esses caras são de Belo Horizonte,representaram muito bem o Brasil nos anos 90.Já vi eles ao vivo em 2015 e ainda estão em alto nível.
Max e Igor criaram o logo e o nome, antes mesmo de começarem a tocar dentro de um quarto em BH e mudarem o metal mundial. Sem os Cavalera, com nenhum integrante original, a formação atual não se compara ao verdadeiro Sepultura. É fato. Seria como no Metallica saírem James e Lars, continuando Kirk e Trujillo com o nome da banda.
