Hi Helen, those Bob pants look great on you, I do the odd Style Arc pattern so I need to check those out! Those pattern weights are wonderful, so much nicer than look at boring pins when you cut 😂 I made a pair of trousers with the utility strap last year and love them, they are for hanging your hammer as they a carpenter trousers 😂😂. I just like putting my hand in it. Can't wait to see what you make with the denim, I was lucky to pop into Andrea's shop last Friday, came out £100 lighter!! Great vlog thanks x
Lovely happy vlog! I am so envious x 2 - fantastic shop to have near and amazing place to work!! I too love the Foxglove and field (birthday wish list lol)
I am so jealous you have Knitting and Stitching shows in the UK. I don't know why there aren't any in Canada anymore. What a lovely shop you work in. It wouldn't even seem like a job. Peacock coloured jeans, wow! I love the denim in the TTPSB. Good luck with your plans!
Hi Helen, lovely video, thank you 🙂 I've used the crotch adjustment you talked abouit, using a TH-cam video and it worked brilliantly - good luck ! xxx
I visited your shop in June when in Plymouth for the weekend, it's lovely. Hope you are enjoying the job (and adjusting the the change in routine and loss of sewing time!!)
A very neat shop you’re working in. Dream job. I hope it’s going well for you ❤. I live in North Yorkshire so I’ll be going to the Knitting and Stitching Show in Harrogate. Enjoy! 😊
Helen, I am so glad to see you again! I love watching your videos. I am so jealous of your new job. I would be like a fox guarding the henhouse if I worked there! LOL. If I lived in England I would shop at your place in a heartbeat. It's so lovely and so full of varied and beautiful crafty makery things! Plymouth people are so lucky! That baby fabric you showed in your video and the white minky fabric - so adorable. No matter what day you go to the Knitting and Stitching Show you will run into a bunch of lovely girls who all know you and will want to hang out! Can't wait to hear about it later. :)
Hello Helen. There are so many yummy goodies in your shop! I had to slow the video down so I could really take a good look, haha. Unfortunately for me, I'm across the pond in the northern part of New York State. We're a bit scarce in this area when it comes to any sewing related shops (especially for quality dressmaking fabrics), so I always have fun seeing what's out there and often buy from several UK shops. But the exchange rate and the postage costs are getting worse and worse, so I've had to postpone my BTPD Sewscription box and my Fabric Godmother box for a little bit. Thank you for sharing everything with us today. Have a wonderful week.
😍 so pleased to have influenced your fab Bob pants, I also had the dreaded baggy crotch 😅 but didn't know it was possible to adjust them, I thought the only way to do it was to re adjust the pattern which I have done now. Love the waves viscose poplin in blue too, it's such a lovely fabric isn't it?
Love everyone's Bob Pants but just can't imagine myself in them, maybe I need to go and try on a similar shape in a shop. I'm going Saturday now so hopefully will see you there
@@nicky-Sewandsnip I would definitely suggest trying some Bob style pants in as I love mine but you need to know if you’ll like them on you for sure! Yay 🎉 Hopefully see you there then x
Oooh I haven't seen that method of correcting the rise. I need to go off and search. I pulled a pair oh pietra pants apart to cut a bit off the top of the front and back. Your method will be much better if it works. I bought the rika pattern before my think pink box arrived, do they are my plans. The knitting and stitching show was going to be my birthday present to myself but sadly I cannot make it now. Enjoy
I would take smaller amounts of fabric out, two cm seems like a lot. Maybe take out 1/4 inch at a time. Your weights are pretty. They are Japanese style fabrics. And the loop on the utility pants is a hammer loop.
The pants ‘loop’ replicates the loop on workmen’s pants to hold a hammer when he’s not pounding in nails! How about that? Now you have to buy a new hammer!

Loop on pants is to hold your hammer ❤
@@AuntBecsCreations well that’ll come in handy 😉😆 Thanks for letting me know and for watching ☺️❤️

Thank you for the advice, I ended up only taking 2cm based on your advice and now they’re a great fit! ☺️👍🏻
