Some gorgeous purchases, I really wanted the iron too.. I resisted but wish I hadn’t lol! Good luck with the crochet kit and thank you for the shout out lovely! Oh and that Marnie ❤❤❤
I love seeing what everyone brings back from the big shows 😁 I think you will love your Tula Pink itoutch, I got one recently and it’s very impressive. I’m also a big fan of the high cuff sweater, I have french Terry and woven versions, love how versatile it is! It will look stunning in your new fabric ❤️😍🍂👻
I did manage to get the curve ruler from Jen on the Thursday, what a great day, loved your pics. I’m just about to make my first Marnie, thanks for the inspiration, like I needed another pattern 🙄🤣 I’m back into knitting and crochet this year, I’ve made a couple of granny square bags ( my granddaughters loved them) I’m 50 squares into a blanket or cardigan for the eldest and just started knitting a Sophie scarf ( found on knitting vloggers TH-cam) I’m all over the place 🫣
Love your Marnies, the red will make a gorgeous pin tucked one. Look for ward to seeing what you make with Halloween fabric. I also love the Knitting and Stitching show and am also going to Sewing for Pleasure at the NEC at the end of the month, not been as a dressmaker for many years, hopefully they’ll have some good stalls
Was lovely spending time with you at the show, I think we need to do a collab with those shoes in the spring! I hadn't heard of wool couture , need to go have a look at them now 😊
Helen I’m the same, I can knit to my hearts content. I’ve tried crochet several times and I find it so difficult, despite people saying it’s easier than knitting 😳
I love your new Marnie I must get my double gauze one made up. So many things to make 😅. Do straighten the hem I seem to recall it has an odd dip in the front although I’ve just tucked in
So sorry for having missed you on Saturday. Judi told me you where there an d I sag your story on IG. The iron is great, I tried it at the Workshop inFriday.
Quick Marnie question, when you do the ruffle do you cut 2 and sew them rst and turn adding a wee seam allowance or is there another way. Having a overthinking moment. Thanks
So pretty much, yes I cut 2 and sew them right sides together with a 5/8” seam allowance as I think that’s how much the pattern says to turn and hem so they work out just right ☺️👍🏻
What fabulous purchases you absolutely deserve it all😊😊😊
Great purchases Helen! It was so lovely to finally meet in person & thank you for your lovely kind words 🥰 xx
Oh this looked like so much fun! Totally worth the long train journey!!
