    Definitely one of the best middleweight engines ever made. Wonder if it will last as long as the 650 Suzuki make? Still really good after 25yrs.
    Great bike, although I need plastic to hide behind when it's cold.
    Good one.
    Ride safe 👍

      I honestly think these bikes will stand the test of time, Yamaha has the Best Reliability rate, the engine is a peach and of course Yamaha know how to look after there customers too. I too for me personally would prefer the T7 but for me its just not got all the things i need to be my long distance tourer.... If they added Cruise and Quick shifter id be very tempted by the T7

      None will get ever close to the legendary V on Suzuki, neither in sound, neither in feel, but the MT07 CP2 is really good, i've seen plenty of models go past 100k miles, though with proper mainteinance, anyway the SV650 is of the little engine that you can abuse and they will keep working.

    Perfect size, perfect tractable engine, bike for a lot of occasions. TFTs are just horrible compared to the twin triumph retro clocks. I rode a Tracer 7 back to back against a vstrom650 and I ended up with the suzuki? I rather like the look of the xsr. I prefer heated gloves to grips

    • @ontheroadadventure
      @ontheroadadventure  ปีที่แล้ว

      The XSR is definitely the “Cool one”. I prefer the fairings though due to the riding I do. V strom 650 is a solid bike, in fact I really liked riding the new v strona, very smooth bikes. I do think heated gloves are the best but having heated grips should be standard on motorcycles I reckon, it costs the manufacturer nothing really, it just should be done…
