Whats Up Guys!! Welcome back to the channel! Today I want to give my thoughts after six months of ownership of my awesome 2024 Yamaha MT-07!! I give my thoughts if its worth your time and money as well as revist some of my previous complaints to see if they're still an issue now six months and 4,000 miles later!!
Theres a lot of motorcycles out there and not all are right for everyone, I think. found a motorcycle I can really see my self using for a long long time as opposed to my previous bikes from Honda, Ducati, and even Harley Davidson!!
Literally love everything about this bike, it will be a dream come true when I get one
Well worth the wait bro I love mine sooooo much 😎
This channel is one of the reason I bought a 2024. Very similar to the one in the video. Thanks
Thanks for watching!!
I've owned a FZ 07 for almost 3 yrs and loved it. So fun. Awesome bike for daily commute and urban shenanigans. Recently bought the new 2024 MT 09, but i miss my old workhorse.
How you liking that 9 tho ?
@@Paramoto959 I f love that thing, is an absolute monster. I use it for daily commute (i have an r1m for fast rides) and hooligan shit. I cant think about another bike thats so good.
MT’s are amazing bikes, I can’t think of a better “series” of motorcycles. R1M sounds like a blast…. 🤓
@@Paramoto959agreed - I had a ‘17 mt-09 with 40,000km and this year traded it in on an Mt-10. Love the series!
Next mod recommendation: fork cartridges and rear shock. Do it.
Agreed about the fuel capacity. 2nd gen SV650 ran a 4.5 gallon tank and I could routinely get about 175-180 miles before the light turned on.
Gawd… I would love 180 miles lol 🤣
Raleigh looks soulless at the first glance, but on a second look it feels interesting, cozy, down to earth, cool
Raleigh’s a great town but like you said it takes some exploring to find the cool stuff 😎
I'm getting one in a month I can't wait!
You’re gonna love it 👍🤣
Men I miss my mt07 will go back to one in future
Try the mt09 😏
@@vissenmetttm I'm on a gsxs1000 now😅 just miss the playfulness of the mt07, but yea I've heard of the mt09 sounds like the sweet spot.
Go for it if you want 😎
I love your comment about the guy wearing a mask by himself outside 😂
Exactly how I feel
While on a long road trip, how often do you have to clean and oil the chain ?
I still haven’t figured out how to change themes on the hud 😂.
Love binge watching your videos 👌 going through dealerships in the u.k. looking for one within the next few weeks, love the mt07 x
Well thank you! Good luck on the hunt, are they hard to come by over there? 😎
They seem to be more or less readily available, however not sure about colour options, I love the original blue, and also tech black, just wish we had roads like yours over there haha
The blue really grew on me… what’s up with your roads?
@Paramoto959 not a lot of straights and very bendy roads, loads of potholes.. weather etc, won't stop me though ✌️😆
@pieterbuchner913 yeah it’s not bad dude
Looking at a 2024 for my first bike use to jump dirt bikes back in the day. Looking forward to a fun bike for my work commutes and summer daily.
Sounds like you got some fun work commutes coming your way! 😎
Its amazing especially with an akro exhaust 😋
Akra* and if you wanna pronounce it right it’s “uh crop of itch” in American English sounds 🫡 good day sir
Akro is amazing, I completely agree 😎
Well done young man on the mt 07 from yamaha and would you consider an mt 09 for a new bike
For a new bike? Sure… those triples are sick.
maybe b/c i grew up on dirtbikes, This bike is the shit. i had a cbr600rr before, this bike made me feel right at home. Now i have a cage for it lol
Love this bike, I’ve also had a couple CBR’s also sick bikes. 😎
Street screen > touring screen
I can’t do a touring screen. Looks too goofy, I’ll just suffer haha.
Do you have an after market exhaust at this video? Sounds good if it’s stock exhaust.
It’s a carbon Akropovic 😎
2:24 Facts!!!!! I am totally that ODB!
Right!! lol and everytime you comment I’m just like. God damn I love his user name 🤣🤣🤣
@@Paramoto959 I promise after 2 years of riding mine……. It is still the same ball of fun every time I ride it! It just never gets old! My nooners definitely stank! 😂
Where did you get your helmet from?
It’s a promotional helmet I got from a company that wanted to sponsor a couple videos. It’s an ILM Carbon,
you need some crashbars and a radiator protection
What aftermarket seat did you get?
The Corbin, but it hasn’t been shipped yet
@@Paramoto959 Thanks for the info! I didn’t know Corbin made a seat for the newer MT-07. I have a Corbin on my SV650 and it is amazing. I can ride for hours and never get a sore bottom. I may get one for my MT-07.
The Top Sellerie brand looks like they have some pretty comfy options for a lot of bikes.
I want this bike because at the sound 😅
Huge selling point for me too 😎
Which city is this
Worst review ever. I love everything on two wheels. What I hate most is how some Harley riders treat other bikes and their owners and then you get this guy, being the same way from a different angle. Love that Yamaha tho
Thank you 🤣🤣
Wrong. This review was awesome.
Just got a out the door for a 2024 at 9062.99 is that a good deal?
Yes, my 2024 MT-07 was over $10k out the door
Holy moly
Yes I put down 2 had 1 k in options and was out the door around 10.
What country? You can go with a GSX-8S for less than this out the door where I live.
USA
Chicken strips is a stupid name for something that should be called wisdom strips.
Wow, you’re completely right… never thought of it that way 😎
Chicken strips is a reference to when the strips are still wide (too chicken to lean it over 🙂)
@@rosendo3523 People often refer to even small strips as "chicken strips". Meaning you are a chicken if you don't lean it all the way over to the end of the tread. I think it's wise to not lean so far over that you put wear on all of the available tread. Maybe that's being cautious but why tempt fate? Anyway, that's just my opiinion.
