I have over 50 flights with Wizzair across all Europe and I never ever have any troubles except a few 30min delays. As long as you check in on their app before the flight you will be fine. I love Wizz, i use it across EU most of the time. They always fly on time + cheap, my last trip to Croatia was 13 euro's, i would stand in the plane if needed for that price 🤣
I've been lucky enough to fly WizzAir a few times (short haul). However, people are spoiled by wifi and other unnecessary things. I'd rather endure the discomfort on a plane with pleasant flight attendants than spend money on a more expensive flight. Thanks for the review.
I flown from Santiago de Chile to Rio de Janeiro in Jetsmart. First of all, the flight wasn't even cheap, it cost me $500 USD round-trip, (with a checked bag) it was a 5 hour trip, it wasn't comfortable because I couldn't get any sleep (red-eye flight) because of the girl (she wasn't even a toddler, the was a teenager, the same age as me) that was seating in the seat behind me, and the flight crew was rude overall. This is VERY smart for Wizzair to be so blunt with their passengers regarding just BEING NICE. And I feel like these fines and punishments are totally justified, because avoiding them is super easy.
Longer flights I always pay for more premium airlines that is 4 hrs plus. When I flew from Schiphol to JFK I flew united and got premium economy. I'm 6'7 so i really cannot fly airlines like this only very ahort flights but i end up needing seets with extra legroom anyway which costs more then booking a more premium airline
I had a rather unpleasant experience with an AirAsia X that flew from Kuala Lumpur to Honolulu, with a stop at Osaka. Since my destination was Osaka luckily I only had to endure about 6 hours of agony. To save costs, I had no water and no food during the entire flight, while being stuck in small, uncomfortable seats with 1 cm of legroom, and having absolutely no entertainment avaliable whatsoever. Well at least it was rather affordable and I had a window seat so I could stare at clouds for 6 hours lol.
I recently flew from Abu Dhabi to the Maldives onboard a Wizzair A321neo, which was 5 hours and a bit. Also a very new one. Only 2 years old. It was my first flight with the airline and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Not that I expected it to be bad, because I usually like flying Ryanair on their European routes, but you never know with these low cost carriers. I don’t mind checking in online, and when I’m not having any checked baggage I actually prefer it and just walk straight to the gate. My last flight with Ryanair was from Aarhus, Denmark to Gdansk in Poland. They started boarding before the plane had even arrived and everyone flocked to the gate, which I found quite funny. After 10 minutes or so the plane arrived. Right when the passangers got off the plane they made final call, and a few minutes later we were airborne. Some probably dislike it. I like that they aren’t hanging about. I paid 46 euros including checked baggage and seat selection. The seats on the Wizzair flight was acceptable. I’m 186 cm tall and it wasn’t that bad. Not super comfortable, but not awful. However, on all AirAsia flights I’ve been on, my knees have been dying. Can’t recommend! I don’t care much for onboard WiFi, never works well anyways. And the lack of entertainment system is of course not a problem on the short flights, and for longer flights I just download some movies on my phone or laptop and watch that. I love when the seats don’t recline, because that means I won’t get crushed by the person in front of me. For 20 years I didn’t even know how the reclining worked so I’ve never used it anyways. In my opinion, no legacy carrier offering compares to that of Ryanair and other low cost airlines. Only if I was so rich, that money didn’t matter to me would I fly on legacy carriers instead. Also, if you somehow made it this far you probably know something about planes. On my flight from Abu Dhabi to the Maldives we flew straight east for sometime, and when we reached India we turned south towards the Maldives. This seems odd to me, and I wasn’t able to figure out why that is the chosen route.
I am flying with wizzair tmrw and I checked the route, it is said that wizzair doesn’t have engine license that allows them to fly over wide body of water so they stay close to the land. That’s why they fly from Abu Dhabi to oman Pakistan india and then Maldives
I flew EasyJet from London Gatwick to Aqaba, Jordan which is a comparable experience. I knew what I was going to get, so I organised my trip around it.. my own snacks, a tablet for entertainment (movies, games) and the flight itself was quite uneventful, on both legs. Maybe the only one thing is the fact you can't recline your seat, but apart from that I am more than happy to have saved hundreds of ££ instead of flying BA or Royal Jordanian. I would do that again.
Until now I have flown with them 78 times. Between them, from Bucharest to Tenerife, 6h 26€/return, to Gran Canaria, 6h 50€/return, Dubai 5h 110€/return 😍😅 Keep up the good work!
Great flight, finally another review of Low Cost Carrier, this time is Medium Distance Flight. I think it's great if you trying the longest flight of Ryanair.
Every regular flyer on WizzAir hates WizzAir, yet you seem to like it. You must have been very lucky on that day i think. That clapping at the end of the flight, shows how much everyone on board were so happy to finally get to their destination and get off a plane that offers very tight squeeze seating. 😀 👏
I have flown Wizz within Europe several times and I would say that they're okay for the price, a little bit better than Ryan Air. I agree that the inflight menu is reasonably priced, but I've tried the noodle once thinking that I would get the noodle as presented on the picture shown in the menu but was quite disappointed that it was actually an instant noodle in a cup that you can easily buy in the supermarket
I tried Wizzair for 5:30 hours thats turn to 7 hours flight, but surprisely, I felt as comfortable as I was in Qatar airways 8 hours flight... Cabin crew were amazing they give me the whole raw for myself, free blanket and toothpaste... they were the best it was my first time and definitely not my last time!
I fly wizz air regularly on the route FCO-LGW as it is usually the cheapest deal to Gatwick and it’s still cheaper than ryanair. It’s nothing special, definitely worth the price (you can get a return trip for 50-70€, even 20 back when they started this route).
Remember to use a CREDIT CARD to anything with WizzAir .Its the only chance you have of seeing your money again if they mess up. As the only want to issue "credit" on account .
3:15 Yeah I had booked a return flight on the new Wizz Air routes for just 30€ (incredible value for money) but had to cancel because I didn't realized the crazy visa fees Saudi Arabia take from us....
Just a clarification. The visa checking issue seems to only be limited to Wizzair. People flying on Saudia Airlines from Europe get their boarding passes online via the app without having to check in, unless one needs to drop off their checked bags.
Great price! 9.50 euros for a gin and tonic would shock me into sobriety. Air Baltic A220s have18.2 inch wide seats, making them much more comfortable than 777s which usually have 17" wide seats.
@@Holland1994D 46.22. Seatguru gives measurements in inches. Multiply inches by 2.54. That means that A220 seats are about 3 centimeters wider. I think 787s also have 17" wide seats. I don't fly all that frequently so the extra 3 centimeters doesn't impact me very much. Being tall, 1.93, the legroom is a bigger concern. An aisle seat is much preferable on a long flight. I usually don't recline my seat so Ryan Air's non reclining seats also don't concern me.
I flew the same destination from Vienna to Riyadh as little as $150 return without check-in bags onboard Wizzair just around 5hours. As far as lowest price is concerned I am happy travelling Wizzair because we cannot expect more than comfort on A321 neo budget flight for such lowest price travel from EU to KSA on direct route. In my view that's $150 return fare was very good bargain apart from flight delays sometimes due to ground handling issue at airports. Overall Wizzair made my Saudi Arabia dream reality. 💂
I'm 6'3', 190cm tall , those seats look tight. Flight looked ok by American standards, not bad. You get what you pay for applies here. If you are tall like me, no fun.
I recently did Vienna to Kuwait, Kuwait to Abu Dhabi & Abu Dhabi to Maldives on Wizz air and they were all really good. Cheapest available flights, all on time, friendly staff and better with carry on luggage than Ryanair, Easyjet etc. I vlogged the flights and did get a bit of hassle for filming on one of them but generally had no issues. Good video!
I once did Air Asia X London Gatwick to Australia Gold Coast return. I was young and about 15kg lighter. Doubt I would do it now... But when you are young, thin and travelling without small children then this kind of travel is cheap and great (albeit cramped, and yes I would definitely spent 2 hours each way stood up) . Just to add I'm 189cm, and these days usually pay for lie flat beds when travelling over 5 hours
I took Larnaca to London with wizz. And I'll be honest, it doesn't lack anything from Cypriot/ Greek airlines doing the same route. Yeah, it was kinda dirty, but Cyprus airways planes don't have a lot that wizz didn't.
Thank you for sharing your honest and transparent feedback on board this long flight. May I suggest for you to try out Air Arabia and SalamAir on one of their longest route as well? I bet it'll be an interesting one too!
I fly from UK to Poland very frequently, I pay as little as £8.99 one way a lot of the time… you can’t complain when a 2.5 hour flight is as cheap as that…
I think I like the narrated videos because I listen to them during my commute, and most travel videos. It's hard to do that with the subtitles. I understand that takes more effort and you can't do it all the time though. Thank you!
Thank you so much for referencing how you make travel animations. It is so rare that travel and review channels post that kind of info, it's like a trade secret LOL. Also, WOW! You really stepped up your game guys! Awesome stuff. You definitely deserve more subs and views than you currently have.
I flew only one time in a non-lowcost flight, and inside europe theres no reason to fly for such high prices. When prices for lowcost flights sometimes costs less than the price of poblic trabasport to the airport, the comofort shouldn't even be a factor in my opinion, suffer in a crowded plane for 4 hours is really no big deal.
Well, it is doable with many ifs and buts. If you are under 175cm and under 85kg and, and ... The interesting thing to me is that the fare structure for transatlantic flights, from the east coast, is so much more expensive
I flew multiple time from Cyprus to KSA using for Wizz for like 20-40 euros a flight, im not complaining considering my only other option are connected flights that cost up to 500 euros. Shame they paused the flights until April 2024
How do those low cost airlines do with crew at longer flights? Like the mentioned Warsaw to the Canary Islands with six hours to and six hours back from the destination makes it a 12 hour flight, not including the ground time - that's longer than a trans-Atlantic long-haul flight.
I’m 193cm tall. Even a 1 hour flight on a British Airways A320neo is horrible. I sit all the way in the back of the seat and my legs will still touch the seat in front of me. Ain’t no way I’d manage to get through a 5 hour Wizzair flight.
My Wizzair flight from Rome to Madrid was delayed over 16 hours. The communication was terrible, but we did at least get a hotel for the night. And 250 euros compensation, thanks to EU regulations. Safe to say I will probably never fly with them again 🙃
90% of people on this route will be doing their religious pilgrimage. The rest either live or work there. I fall under the latter. I am originally from Milan but work in Jeddah.
@@AM-mv6ro Dammam doesnt have pilgrimage traffic. Only Jeddah and Madinah has. Dammam is only for the Saudi Aramco workers. Wizz Air flies to Jeddah as well.
Do you know if when you’re travelling with travel agent who have put you on a normal Wizzair flight you also need to check in online or you can go to check in stand at the airport with all the luggage etc. and be checked in without any charge?
I flew on Air Asia X a few weeks ago from Bangkok to Melbourne, 9 hours of essentially the same type of product no IFE and cramped leg room, only cost $200 though... was it worth it? Absolutely not
The seats for the crew should not appear when one makes an online booking for the seats. Also the type of craft used. If there is last minute changes, it is not ok if you don't get the seat you booked. It is cheating if you don't get what you booked.

I used to fly Wizz a lot when I was studying abroad. Not the worst, not the best. Very much a what you pay for experience.
@@leyla9250 Ah! Makes sense. Thanks :)
We were on this flight! Sitting in 1A and 1B, and you can see us boarding ahead of you. We only paid 40 EUR per person. Well worth it!

Some of United Airlines' Boeing 767s have a total of ~160 seats in a premium-heavy configuration.
From Athens to Abu Dhabi you can usually travel around 110Eur for round-trip and that's a really great price.
€110 round trip airfare? Oh dear, that should be called sacrificial airfares - airfares that are designed to make you suffer. 😢🙄
Cuba's e-Visa is roughly the same price as Saudi at around 100-120USD.
I travelled with WizzAir from Milan to Budapest and payed 14€ round trip! No checked bags of course
Until now I have flown with them 78 times. Between them, from Bucharest to Tenerife, 6h 26€/return, to Gran Canaria, 6h 50€/return, Dubai 5h 110€/return 😍😅 Keep up the good work!
12:05 is the biggest industries of saudi arabia connected to it is the city of jubail where i lived for 14 years a very calm city
Zero 🥜 0:01
Blanket and toothpaste on Wizzair flight? Since when they offer these?! And free?! Don't believe this, sorry.
I fly wizz air regularly on the route FCO-LGW as it is usually the cheapest deal to Gatwick and it’s still cheaper than ryanair. It’s nothing special, definitely worth the price (you can get a return trip for 50-70€, even 20 back when they started this route).
Great review, thanks that applause after landing always gives a different vibe. Love it.
253€ for Dammam is FAR from fenomenal price...it was for sale for 40€ RT (without any extras)
Remember to use a CREDIT CARD to anything with WizzAir .Its the only chance you have of seeing your money again if they mess up. As the only want to issue "credit" on account .
The IFE would be the least thing i miss. In 2023 we have our own media on tablets or smartphones.
3:15 Yeah I had booked a return flight on the new Wizz Air routes for just 30€ (incredible value for money) but had to cancel because I didn't realized the crazy visa fees Saudi Arabia take from us....
yeah it's like $140 for a Visa.
including health insurance though
Just a clarification. The visa checking issue seems to only be limited to Wizzair. People flying on Saudia Airlines from Europe get their boarding passes online via the app without having to check in, unless one needs to drop off their checked bags.
Great price! 9.50 euros for a gin and tonic would shock me into sobriety. Air Baltic A220s have18.2 inch wide seats, making them much more comfortable than 777s which usually have 17" wide seats.
Please use centimeters next time :)
that doesn't sound right. what if the flight is full? they should block the seats for crew to rest
Wizz Air also flies from Katowice Airport to Abu Dabbi
I'm 6'3', 190cm tall , those seats look tight. Flight looked ok by American standards, not bad. You get what you pay for applies here. If you are tall like me, no fun.
Isn't Wizz 29" vs Scoot 31" on the 787)? That is a pretty big difference. Scoot only use 320 for flights up to 3 hours or so
WizzAir won’t be starting it’s planned longest flight from Milan to Abu Dhabi now apparently.
Read that too, but the video was finalized last week already and I couldn’t change it since I’m in India right now. 😬
Wizz Air offers a good service at a good price and the staff is friendly. After all, 2, 3 or 5 hours is not that much.
My longest LCC flight was on Wow Air between BWI and Reykjavik. Needless to say, never again.
I took Larnaca to London with wizz. And I'll be honest, it doesn't lack anything from Cypriot/ Greek airlines doing the same route. Yeah, it was kinda dirty, but Cyprus airways planes don't have a lot that wizz didn't.
I flew Scoot on a 7 Hours flight from Singapore to Melbourne. For me, it was a quite good experience. In fact Scoot was better than I expected.
Thank you for sharing your honest and transparent feedback on board this long flight. May I suggest for you to try out Air Arabia and SalamAir on one of their longest route as well? I bet it'll be an interesting one too!
The best thing is the photos of the food they offer onboard and when they bring you your order the food looks like nothing in the pictures.
Absolutely fantastic video David!😸
I paid 19$ for a one-way ticket from Vienna to Dammam. 3:08 You paid to much or was it last minute?
We just missed you! We flown Vienna to Dammam 2 days before you!! I wouldn’t imagine flying with you!
My Wizzair flight from Rome to Madrid was delayed over 16 hours. The communication was terrible, but we did at least get a hotel for the night. And 250 euros compensation, thanks to EU regulations. Safe to say I will probably never fly with them again 🙃
Make sure to fly flynas a320neo! Also, please make a trip report on air algerie long haul flight!
for me the most suprising thing was seeing so many people traveling to Saudi and its shocking.
The same people who "love" Dubai... I can't understand it.
@@Canleaf08 Dubai has reason why people flock to it. but Saudi is something which is shocking as the European society heavily despise Saudi.
What wrong with Saudi?
90% of people on this route will be doing their religious pilgrimage. The rest either live or work there. I fall under the latter. I am originally from Milan but work in Jeddah.
@@AM-mv6ro Dammam doesnt have pilgrimage traffic. Only Jeddah and Madinah has. Dammam is only for the Saudi Aramco workers. Wizz Air flies to Jeddah as well.
I’m loving these, keep it up!
Do you know if when you’re travelling with travel agent who have put you on a normal Wizzair flight you also need to check in online or you can go to check in stand at the airport with all the luggage etc. and be checked in without any charge?
I'd assume the travel agent should facilitate check-in or give you instructions - definitely check with them! As the fees can add up!
You def need to check in online on most Wizz flights except the ones like in the vid
I'm not sure why you would fly to Dammam unless it was for work 🤔
Wizz air is quite good value for short flights within Europe, although i definitely prefer Ryan air more.
13:25 That applause is basically an exchange for “Finally this cramped 6 hour flight is over!!!”
I took the same route , in May 2023, the new a321 neo was very smooth
THE Intro is an absolute Banger! Great video the best reviews
I flew on Air Asia X a few weeks ago from Bangkok to Melbourne, 9 hours of essentially the same type of product no IFE and cramped leg room, only cost $200 though... was it worth it? Absolutely not
And that is - at last - also a brutally honest reply. It is not OK, it is not good compared with the price. It is bad, horrible.
The seats for the crew should not appear when one makes an online booking for the seats. Also the type of craft used. If there is last minute changes, it is not ok if you don't get the seat you booked. It is cheating if you don't get what you booked.
Personally did 11h30min flight with French Bee which is considered a low cost company, was totally fine
I was meant to be flying on their AUH-MXP in September that should of been about 7hrs but they cancelled the route now 🤦♂️
I am interested in the stories of those 220 passengers. Probably 220 different stories. But still interesting why they fly this route.
I just flew with Wizzair from London (Luton) to Amman in Jordan which was about 5 1/2 hours. It was wasn't at all bad and quite comfortable.
Great Video as always... Love the Brutally honest series. Keep it up guys 👍🏻
Wtf how can you even sit there ?!? 11:25
the livery reminds me of the 2023 Washington Wizards City Edition jersey
