Very helpful!! Those google images had me worried and sweating bullets due to how small they looked!😅 But, thanks to your video, I see I’m gonna be just fine! God bless! ❤
I am moving a studio from NY to TX. MY largest items is my 45 inch tv, tv stand and sofa. Using IKEA bags for soft items etc. Everything else can be broken down. This will work for me. Thank you.

Thank you for the video I'm also moving to Miami Beach my question is do you have to pay for them to pick up the box when unloaded or is it included in the shipping cost ?
@@SaltCreep45 no, didn’t have to pay anything for pick up after unloading. Once the boxes are picked up from your place you shouldn’t owe them anything going forward. Thank you though and enjoy Miami!
did you buy insurance? apart from U-box/s shipping charge, I am asked drop off and pick up U-Boxes, and since I am 73 years old can not handle much lifting boxes, so will need to have help in loading and unloading help, so everything adds up to around 3 to 3.5 k, I have not yet confirmed my order but soon I will have to decide. Watching your video gives me a pretty good idea how to pack using tots. It would be more sturdy, can stack nicely and no applying tape on card board boxes. Plus different size boxes may be difficult to align to save space. Let's see how my move cross country would be!
We did not buy insurance. If I remember correctly it only covered $1,000 in damages/stolen property so we didn’t think it was worth it. Totes are a great way to pack for sure. Best of luck with your move and thanks for stopping by!
@@blaaaa930 if you want to or can, I recommend selling some of the common items you can easily replace at your new home. We did that for a few items and worked out in our favor. Best of luck with your move!

nice video. was the driveway slope too large for them to put them in the driveway in Colorado or did you want them on the curb? I'm moving to a house with a similar graded driveway and want to use the driveway if possible. Thanks.
When scheduling the U-Haul rep said the driveway was too steep and I would have to place them on the street/curb. But when the drop off driver arrived he said he would’ve been able to place them on the driveway with the caveat I didn’t stack heavy items too high inside. Hope that helps and lemme know if you have anything else, and thanks for watching!
We did not choose the insurance options from U-Haul. From my understanding one insurance was for while it was in a U-Haul shipping lot and the other was for accidents that happen in transit. Both didn’t cover very much, like a $1000 if I remember correctly, so we just went without either.
@@tompritch56 yes, you provide your own lock. I put an Amazon link in the description of the locks I used. Affordable, durable and keeps the “opportunistic thief” away. Thank you for your comment and watching!
How many bedroom did you move? We are about to make the move from Denver to Tampa next month and I just reserved 5 of these. Hoping I don’t need that many but we have a basement gym and I know that’s going to be a box by itself because of how bulky the equipment is
Haha I was looking at the weather the other day and it was over 90 the entire week. I’m from Alabama so I’ve had a little taste of humidity but I hear it’s next level there. Hopefully it’s not worse than Okinawa because I barely survived out there 😂. Thanks, and congrats to you too man.
We did not. But our roommates had separate ubox’s they packed a couch in, wasn’t a large one but a decent size two piece sectional, and it fit well in theirs
@@uongoivanneo5231 it was pretty simple. We asked for a pick up the next day after boxes arrived(unloading goes way faster then loading) and they picked up both boxes then. I checked in a week later to make sure there wasn’t anything owed, which there wasn’t, and that was it!
