🤗🥰 Who cares about boring home decor when one can watch your videos or/and create beautiful thingies! I have learned so much from you Pam as being still quite new to the junk journal world. Above all I have learned to use what I have, see things differently and trust my own ideas. You are one of the best ❣ Lots of love from 🇫🇮 Thank you for being you.
Yes! It's REALLY ok to get excited about bookmarks. I get excited about the crust on my peasant bread and other silly little things in my day. I envy the way that every scrap you touch turns to gold. Thanks for sharing again. You really do cheer up one's day. Thanks Pam!
Ha ha! 🤣 Who doesn't need a gorgeous bookmark, for any book, magazine, cookbook...you name it! So there's Pam talking about the loose edges that need to be sewn down and out of my mouth pops, 'peel-y uppies!' The Pamictionary, has been fused to my brain! 🤣📚 Thanks Pam - love from Denmark 🌸 💕
ok this is getting serious!! I woke up at 8 am and normally I say oh heck I can sleep in a little more but not this morning, my first thought was oh yay its Monday Pam has a new video!! i franticly grabbed my laptop and went in to search your newest video.. thanks for the inspiration and you truly are the best part of my day..
I have been sewing for 45 years and always am looking for new ways to incorporate it. I absolutely love these bookmarks and will be adding one to each journal I make from now on. I love the scrappiness of them and the freedom I feel while making them. Thanx for the inspiration as always.
Oh Pam, the bookmarks are just wonderful! I will make a bunch for gifts, what a great idea! More important to me today though-was you being you! I needed a laugh this morning and when you sprung a leak on your glue bottle-you fixed my negative world and turned on the laughter! Holy Bigoli! Thanks! Needed that!
Good morning sweet Pam. Cloudy windy and cool here in Wisconsin. Autumn colors are gorgeous this year. This is a great idea as I have a lot of fabric. Hope Sunshine and Holly are happy and well. Lots of love in the house. ❣️❣️❣️
Love this, such a clever ideas. I have gazillion political adds made of the heavy paper. I knew they would come in handy. Thank you so much for sharing.
I watched this tonight and was blown away. I so am gonna make many of these for my booth at the shop. thank you so much for giving me such a great idea though many of her ideas are amazing
I have a granddaughter that's 13 and a great grand daughter that's 9. Both love to read. Great idea for Christmas this year. I have lots of scraps from a large quilt I'm finishing and from making masks. Good way to use them up,, without spending money. The girls love Harry Potter and Nancy Drew/ Hardy Boys too. Way to go Pam is as they would say " you rock"!!
I have started sewing tags with fabric on one side and writing paper on the back. I don’t ink my edges. My goodness they are so much fun to make. I have gone crazy! Then I make a top decoration like you do. So much fun!
I love making fabric book markers. Last year I got out my scraps and went to town making a ton of them. It was my intention to donate them to the local school libraries but COVID hit before I could. Now that the kids are back I school. I can actually give them out now. I also added them to the masks that I gave out to our community that I made early on in the pandemic. You actually jogged my memory that I need to make more so I can give them to the schools now. Thanks for the reminder. Oh for the ones for the schools, I used my cricut to cut out encouraging words out of iron on vinyl (beautiful, amazing, courageous....) to iron onto the bookmarks.
Every time you show more ephemera it is just the perfect thing I need for what I’m working on! Or perhaps I am easily led. 🤔😂🤣. Thanks Pam, hugs and blessings, 🤗❤️🇨🇦
You make my day❤️❤️❤️Pam! I love all your projects. Am going to be making some book marks for my vintages craft fair. Thank for sharing your ideas!!!!!!😊
Love from one bookie to another. 💛💜❤🙏 You could mass make and donate them to a Cancer Treatment Center too. Something that would offer a bit of artful beauty and the thought that someone cares enough about others to share a hand crafted little thing in a rough time of life.
Seems so much fun to make! I just started using stickles. I understand the addiction! I guess you know what project, and what art tool I'll be using today!!!! 😌 I am also finding materials can be used from cereal boxes, frozen meals, and other foods. Even boxes from Amazon, store purchase and other mail you receive. Up cycling is so easy thanks to your ideas, Pam!
Ues you ate on the trail of many gone before you with the thought of repurposing our resources. I just started using the big clear envelopes as a cover to hold and display added bits n bobs of papery goodness. Have fun and come join us in the Facebook group to share ideas and post ypur creations. Pam offers lots of papery fun challanges to create if we wish and it is such a positive place to watch/lurk or visit about JJ paper creativity with others. 🙏💛

I love those junk mail cards for the base for my journal pages too. I give fabric book marks to my reading friends with a birthday card. I was fusing the fabric then sewing. This is easier! I tried using fabric that related to them, cats, dogs, books, flowers, etc.

What a fun project this'd be for gifts for Nursing Home Residents. 🖒👍
Super idea!! :)
Yes maybe with a room number on it and oh the possibilities of it tied on a piece of yarn. How thoughtful of you.
Some of my friends and I write letters and drop off at our local nursing homes. How to ask the director if bookmarks are allowed
