It's funny how the Xbox has the lower button as confirm and the right button as cancel worldwide, Nintendo systems have the lower button as cancel and the right button as confirm worldwide, but PlayStation switches depending on whether or not you're in Japan.
@@JoBot__ it's not just in Japan, it's whether you are in Asia, i live in the Philippines and all my life i always remembered O being accept and X being cancel, and games who used them opposite way were always weird for me which is why it became one of my habits to whenever i first boot a game to go to settings and if possible put the accept button to right face button and cancel bottom at the bottom face buttom. That includes my Nintendo consoles, when i play on someone's Xbox or even my PC games. And as added bonus anyway, it goes against Sony's design of the face buttons if game devs and gamers continue to swap the purpose of X and O.

When I got my PSP(still have it albeit in a billion pieces because backlight died and I tried to "fix it" and never did), it came with a Skype credit. It blew my mind that I could call my mom's cellphone in the next room through the PSP using Skype. Man technology has changed a lot since then.

There's no better way to emulate Atari Lynx. This is the only platform I've seen running it well. The screen ratio and button layout makes it perfect, like a 2000's Lynx upgrade. Until screen replacements became available, emulating it on PSP was preferable to the original hardware.
oh hey i have this exact psp, vibrant blue 3000 japanese model, its got a dead disk drive so i never get to actually use it though the anime was The Idolm@ster btw it literally showed the title in english
I just bought old used psp 3000 with 4 games for around 35$ and I bought the same memory stick pro adapter as you have, does console handle 128gb micro sd because I don't know which size of it should I get
The iM@S Cinderella Girls anime is pretty good. Not as goated as the 2011 anime that's just about the 765 Pro idols, but still. Oh, and speaking of iM@S, the PSP got two games on the franchise, SP which is mostly just the arcade game with extra features and a story, and Shiny Festa, which I haven't played yet.
I bought a psp 3000 about 3 years ago and I modded it put a bunch of homebrew and iso games on it and put all of dragon ball z Kai on it I’m waiting for a dual SD card adapter to arrive so I can stick more stuff in it
I don't think the PSP is even the best way to play its own library of games any longer, let alone retro games. It's not like I think people should just go and throw their PSPs away, it's still a nice handheld, but it's sibling the Vita and the vast amount of retro handhelds out there will just offer a better experience. The only thing I pull my PSP out for these days is playing UMD movies.

In my experience ARK sometimes just crashes my PSP whenever it wants, be it UMD's, homebrew or normal games, but PRO works perfectly fine

btw, you can force shutdown a psp, you just have to hold the power switch for quite a long time

On the N64 emulator you're running you need to go into the emulators settings and turn on audio. It's turned off by default.
