My big problem with him is that he's a diva, not that he's gay. He was always canceling shows. It was not a huge problem for me, but I met people at canceled shows in Miami, Florida who had flown in from places like Ireland and Australia just to watch the faerie play.
I looked at him as a huge ICON/ Guitarist at 14 years old in 94' and was hugely inspired to play guitar by him! I took the wifey to A record store in Covina in December just last year.. such a friendly humble gent!
