My girlfriend tried your workout out this morning and said she absolutely loved it. We just got a new dumbbell set and have been looking for some good new exercises to utilize them so this was perfect. She especially liked how you show the proper way to do all the exercises since a lot of them she hadn't done before. You've been putting out some awesome videos lately, keep it up Doc!
Great video. Less talking and just straight forward examples. There are soo many videos out there that talk, talk, talk, talk way too much. This is the video I've been looking for, thank you!
OMG! You have such a great patience to explain everything so clearly. This is one of the great videos I have ever seen. I am going to share this with my wife, she will love it!!!!... Thanks Bro
full body workout was expected specially for women and the timing is better than ever , training your entire body in a modest amount is motivating and encouraging , definitely recommend this video.
I'm so glad i found you on you tube!! I'm loving your exercises, and iv'e been sticking to working out with you 3 times a week, which has never happened before.!! You explain things easily and the exercises are great. Thanks 😊
This is a really detailed and professional video. I like that you explain what's involved with different workouts, and how each is beneficial. Keep the content coming!
I'm so glad you made this video because I've been looking for a full body workout. You explain each workout so perfectly. I can really see how each one wil benefit my body. And I love how this doesn't take up my whole day. Thank you for being so detailed and awesome.
I’ve consistently done a few of your other workouts and loved them….but this is a lot of exercises! I had to go back to read the title, with the 2 separate push up exercises listed I thought maybe this was the fit father workout. After a warm up, set up and about 5 quality exercises I am already in the gym for an hour an a half. (Although I am pokey) I am afraid I’d be in there too long.
Superset workout is what my wife need, she get to build up her strength while get the benefit of losing weight with limited personal time for daily exercises.
I just did this workout and had a good sweat and enjoyed each set. I have issues with L4 & L5 and have discomfort in my lower back most of the days but with this workout, It felt really good as I did it at my own pace. Thanks
Great, will add this to my routine, btw I am in my 65th year, will 3 sets be okay? Been training on treadmill, on peleton and weights for 5 months now, down 25 pounds, lost 4.5 inches on waist, feeling great. Thank you!
Thank you for making this video, and for the upcoming series of videos! One thing, a lot of mom's I know (including me!) have de quervain's tenosynovitis and need other grips for holding weights. What grips (like diamond grips) do you recommend to hold the weights and bars? Push-ups are also problematic.
Hi Mahathi, thanks for writing in and great question! Wearing lifting straps can help alleviate some of that pain while also allowing you to fully exercise. An example are ones like these: pulse.ly/alqft66vor Give those a look and best of luck! -The FMP Team
I wish I had discovered you a few years back, when my hormones rebelled and then I battled cancer. Few TH-camrs target my age population. I am starting your workouts (the nutrition part is not a challenge for me, as I have a B.S. I foods and nutition) Wish I could work with you on an individual basis!
Hi Lisa, I'm really happy to have you with us. Explore our channel. We have a ton of awesome stuff here. Our website is also a fantastic resource. www.fitmotherproject.com/blog
Your video are ready great. I need to try doing this at home since I am not going to the gym now. I have hand weights & some other equipment but I don’t have kettlebell or weight bench. I want to try to lose the mid section or belly fat. What exercises would you recommend? What tips do you have for people that are diabetic & trying to lose weight?
Hi Paula, unfortunately we don't lose localized fat, we lose overall body fat. Check out our program. It may be the solution you’re looking for: fitmotherproject.com/fm30x-letter-video My team and I can help you start seeing results!
Thank you so much, Doc for your channel! Question: My knees don’t hurt until I start doing my workouts. My knees only bother me when I do any kind of squat. I know the squat is a powerful exercise. Is there a version of it I can do so my knees don’t bother me? I’m young, only 58. I am a breast cancer survivor in remission for about eight months, now. Very focused on Strength training due to cancer drugs. I’m on a drug called letrozole which reduces as much estrogen in the body and comes with many side effects, the most Concerning is brittle bones. After my bone density exam, I was told already had osteopenia in my spine and osteoporosis in my hips. The goal of my strength training is strong Muscles to protect my bones. They give me infusions every 6months to build the bones the Letrizole breaks down. I don’t wanna be on any of these drugs.
Never tried weight training before. Looking for a beginner video at home work out to gradually build as I go. Any recommendations as to which ones to start off with would be greatly appreciated
I've been working on another Fitmother programme, which has nine exercises (some the same as these) and includes the RKC plank and bicycle crunch. I love it. I'm in my sixth week now, after doing it every 3 days roughly and have increased reps on all of the exercises and got a lot stronger. I want to try something different now. I have some questions: (1) Is this a big jump up? Looks a lot harder! (2) I can (just) do normal push ups but don't think I'll manage the CG Push ups - can I maybe do those from my knees or is there an alternative? (3) any alternative to the second squat exercise, as I have had two partial knee replacements. Three sets of 10 reps is my limit on squats, and even that hurts my knees quite a bit. Thank you!
Great video...can you please suggest a substitute for the last superset pairing with close grip push up...can’t do those which is an alternative exercise to do in-place of this?
Hey Amanda, thanks for writing in and great question! The close-grip push-ups are a fantastic way to hit your arms, as well as your core. So before finding an alternative, I'd consider performing them from your knees to give you a similar benefit. And if that is still too challenging, try performing it from a bench (hands on the bench) to help alleviate some weight but to still work the same muscles. Depth is what we're looking for with this movement so whatever allows you to get lowest, is what we're after. -The FMP Team
Hey Ida, thanks for writing in and great question! Oftentimes, if our body isn't in alignment for a lift, we can experience pain. With the shoulder press, this is most common because we strain our neck either looking upward at the ceiling or upward at the bar. The goal of the press is to keep your head aligned with our spine, looking straight ahead. Consider focusing in on a point on the wall and keep your eyes fixed there through the duration of the movement. Otherwise, if you're still experiencing pain, you can try a lateral raise instead, which can be found below. However, try the fixed point stare first as a pressing motion is a compound movement, meaning it will help burn more calories and build more lean tissue than the lateral raise. th-cam.com/video/aJt5KmQg-_o/w-d-xo.html& -The FMP Team
Hey Maarten, thanks for writing in and great question! You are absolutely right that tricep or diamond push-ups can be quite challenging. This is because you remove a lot of your chest activation focusing more on your triceps, which are much smaller and weaker. So to help, try doing them from your knees to help alleviate some weight. Hope that helps and happy lifting! -The FMP Team
@@FitMotherProject Thank you for helping me with this - pushups of any kind are so difficult for me! Also, thank you for taking out the time to respond. It's very considerate. Many people on TH-cam just ignore the questions and comments.
Okay, so Mom of nine over here. Could you start off slowly and do one set of everything and work your way up to three and you get benefits? I get really sore due to mold toxicity.
Hey FH, thanks for writing in and great question! And you can absolutely start off with 1 set and work your way up. Anything is better than nothing at this point and the goal is to incrementally get better from session-to-session. So if that means starting at 1 or 2, jump in there and your body will adjust in time! Best of luck! -The FMP Team

Yes, try to improve the depth of your squat as you get stronger, keeping always good posture 👍

This is an extremely helpful workout video, would watch again. 15/13
I’m done after 1A and 1B! Hands up those who have completed the workout 🏋️♀️

I can not do barbells that heavy. I would use my kettlebell or dumbbells instead until I get stronger. Thank you for this video. I am over 50.
Awesome my friend! You're very welcome 🙏
My mom only has dumbbells. Gonna show her this.
after you do the first superset with 1A and 1B do you rest 30-60 seconds before continuing with the next 3 sets for this same muscle group?
Yes 😊

I'll say that I do a similar routine lmao, call me a lightweight. I know a few ladies who need to look into this, will give them a heads up.
What size is the kettlebell you are using?
Hi Bernadette, find a weight that allows you to finish the workout routine. Then as you get stronger, you can start to go up in weight
Can a beginner do this ? Or would it be too much
Hi Heran, absolutely, do a s much as you can, focus on your form 🙌
Workout demo begins 4:00
👍
Is it good to do this 3 times a week or is that too much for the body?
Hi Iliana! 3 times per week will be ok, but try to mix and match different parts of the body 👍

Why is this called Fit Father workout?
