Wow! I got tired just by watching you do all those strenuous high intensity exercises. l realized how loooong a 30 seconds can be! Once I , my sister ( as Uma dEvi) and a friend (as Lord Siva) performed to the L.P record 'Siva LeelA VilAsm' (Veenaa by Chitti Babu and his team) . The duration is ~ 25 minutes but the tune continues nonstop. I was the Ganga dEvi who had to be on the stage from the beginning till the end. So We rehearsed four times everyday (end to end ) so that we would be able to perform without showing any stress or strain during the program. But all these new gymnastics were completely unknown to us then! Today dance offers so much more to the audience and also it demands so much more from the students. Brilliant as usual. Stamina - Endurance - Cardiovascular - Muscular - Aerobic - Anaerobic.... Beautifully explained within a short time. Very good exercise for dancers. High Intensity Training is a little too much for me at this age to start. But some of the exercises shown are not so difficult, but can be followed by anybody.
Sorry for the late reply I just finished my dance class and had some fruits after 10 minutes that is post dance snacks as u said . I am trying to follow everything you do. I wish I was slim as u but it’s heredity prob for me but still at at a very young age I am fat but I’m thankful that I enough stamina n a flexible n these exercises are very helpful ❤❤
Though genetics play an important role, it is upto an individual to cultivate healthy habits, get flexible, develop stamina. No one is born with those😊 glad the video is useful.
Hello Prathiba, I have started watching your videos today, I felt you will help me build my stamina to dance. I am in early 40s, and I have practiced dance for so many years but with lots of intermittent breaks spanning years for various reasons. I am now preparing myself to come back to practice again after a year long break. I already injured my knees long back because of lack of stretches, strengthening and core exercise. I am living with that pain and keep pushing myself so hard. Now that I see these videos. I want to fix my knee issues and gain back my stamina. May I know how should I plan my early morning 1:30 minutes to use it for strengthening, warmup, dance and then cooling down? Please let me know if I can register for any such class? I live in california, and can do an online class during Saturday and Sunday. Hope to hear back from you.

Hey Devika! Good to know. Whether you post video or not, keep dancing. You are too young to worry about all that. Focus on learning! Once you know your art well you will stop worrying about what others have to say.. Rather you will use them constructively if need be or learn to shrug it off if unnecessary..

Very true! Same with any Solo margam performance.. One needs to practice for long hours to be able to present a 2 hour margam on stage.
