FFG really loves their cardboard.
I have a lot of these ships from the Hasbro Titanium line and I might 3D print some of the others. That would be a fun way to add some flair to the game vs. the cardboard player pieces.
I love the look and feel of this game, can't wait until I get my hands on a copy and get it to the table! When does it come out? I'm hoping May... May the fourth perhaps??

Mechanically this looks very similar to Fallout, and since Fallout is awesome I find that encouraging.

What in your opinion is the best player count? For me it's hard to do a 3 or 4 player game. So most likely I'll be playing in a 2 player game.
The game is better with 3 to 4 but still doable with 2. The ‘sweet spot’ is 3 to 4.

There is also a 1 player option for this game so don’t be deterred. You can get a copy from Coolstuffinc for $54.00, not bad. And if you ever need extra players I can send you five of mine, and please keep them.

If another player has your bounty as a crew member, can you trade I stead of fight for them? If so, do you have to be on the same planet to trade for the bounty?

I have a question.
If I have negative reputation with a faction and someone else buy from the market, making that patrol move against the buyer. But I am in the middle of them so the patrol passes by me.
Do the patrol stop at me or will it keep moving?
If it stops, do I have to fight it right away or wait for my turn?
If I have to wait for my turn, do I fight it right away or can I play planning and action first?
If so, can I move away from the patrol then since fighting is step 3?

Seems cool, but I kind of wish they could somehow supplement expansions in the game although I guess it isn't that type of game.

I think once you are familiar with the game you can play it in 2 hours or even less.

I have a question what happens if say an empire patrol and a Rebel patrol end up on the same spot
As scum, we don't concern ourselves in the affairs of the rebellion against the empire. (On a serious note, nothing happens, they are just both there).
Is it true you can't cycle a card after buying? Another video said you could, but I'm not sure about that.
You can do the buy and cycle in either order.

I'm a little more confused after buying the game and reading the rules. In the rules references, it says "To perform a market action, the current player resolves the following steps: 1. Discard a Card 2. Buy a Card". Normally FFG is pretty literally about their rules, and I haven't found any place that says something that would allow it to be in any order. Also, the AI rules only let the AI discard before buying a card, which may be some more evidence that it must be sequential (although the AI does ignore certain rules).
Thoughts? Where did you see that you can buy and cycle in either order? (Thanks for your time, by the way!)
Looks like a similar setup and playstyle like Fallout the Board Game
@E Lowe similar with the encounter deck, peg board, character cards, traits, enemy tokens move through other cards, just some similarities given both are made from ffg

Depends what you're going for. It's not very confrontational, which is a plus for a lot of people (like my wife!). Yet, the fact that you CAN take another player's crew for a bounty, or fight them with certain cards, makes those moments exciting.

I like the way you gave reasons why you might want to choose certain options and what those options are and some role playing and player interaction aspects that no one else's video has really touched upon. One thing that would have been nice but players on BGG figure out are the names of the obscure patrol ships. I like the way they use some X-wing art. MTFBWY
