And lets just say he is still working his way down the list of games. He's currently at game #5, out of like a million xD. Uses it like a console too. Worked out great for him.

I have 210 PC on my launchbox, not even counting all the emulated games 896 total and roughly 2600 between my coinops and hyperspin builds on my launchbox. I believe aside from a few triple A titles I'm waiting for and my arcade collection I'm winding down on all the collecting. It was hard work compiling everything but saved me money not having to invest in an Amazon drive. I've already backed up my 12 tb drive with another, same with my XB and arcade. All set🤘

I have handmade SSD with 2 TB of games (totally not pirated!) dumped inside. To make all complicated and easy to navigate, I've made simple program that opens once u plug and shows list of games to open. Useful, as my main PC's HDD where every file excluding system is located is slow and ssd is only 120 gb which is not much. Also having a pretty good laptop, which only has 512 gb drive full of study materials and projects, always easy to plug and play games, for example while you travel, also made it so saves located on that drive so i could access them on laptop outside and at home on my pc

ah if you scan it it will return lots of virus's and delete files, making it unusable - the "cracks" used to bypass the security checks, show as a virus due to their nature, so best to turn of AV or have the drive exempt from scanning But, you always have to be careful, you have no idea what is on these drives - so use at your own risk

Using FTP's with poor security was "How we got started" back in the late 90's. Pub scanning they used to call it. Scanning the internet for weak FTP's, using Proxy List's for security, or I.P. spoofers. If it wasn't FTP's, it was mIRC. Every other server was 95% full of hard core porn. Now, we use VPN instead of proxy lists. None of this is anything new. It's been around for the past 30 years. I remember a time, when we all had cases full of Verbatim CD-R's and DVD's, because they had more space than a lot of hard drives, which usually had to be compressed to get double the disk space, back in the days of Windows ME, or '98. That's how we all used to do it way back when, but back then, a AAA game was Duke Nukem 3D, Quake 2 or GTA, a game that was typically installed from one or more floppy disks. I don't think that you can even buy floppy disk drives any more, can you? Apparently, according to the internet, the Department of Defence (DoD), still uses floppy disk drives in some of their "technology", who knew? tax payers dollars at work.

to explain it very simply ftp is file transfer protocol, basically let's say on the same wifi you have one computer with an ftp client program installed (the computer you want to receive files on) and on the computer that already has the files you have ftp server installed then you set it up (I'm oversimplifying just so that you get the idea) and connect the client to the server and you can copy over files from the server computer to the client computer. the most common reasons I've seen for using this personally are like wirelessly transferring files from a pc to like a hacked playstation vita for certain programs and stuff and the other reason I've seen is like transferring files from your pc to your steam deck, for whatever reason you may have for having files on a pc but you need them on the steam deck

i don’t like the honesty in this video (this comment will likely get shadow-banned/deleted, because of money>morals) this wasn’t talked about a lot in video but these AAA games you will need a computer that can run these games! this will not work on every computer! this is essentially a rom HDD.(:Don’t Drop:) a lot of these AAA games are ps4 games. notice how he didn’t show a lot of the AAA games in gameplay. the best was forks and that’s the easiest AAA to render. i see his links and i don’t want anyone to get their hopes up. all of these games(roms) are online and readily available on multiple websites! this is going to doop alot of newbies, research emulators/roms and you’ll be fine ! this is a product for someone with no wifi or extremely slow wi-fi but still has a decent computer. even with a lower spec computer you’d be able to play the games he played on this video, like 2d platformers/basic rpgs
remember this is just a hard drive with games and emulators. all you can download on your own, they’re essentially selling download times. also for this much work, you might want to invest a lil more to get a SSD not HDD. SSD are faster/ more reliable/ extremely durable compared to HDD(SSD has no moving parts to break)

yeah its a time saver - you can DL packs and you have to configure them - but apps like launchbox make life a lot easier in this world
