@@HyperArcadeSystems If this has every game why is there a 96TB version? Also for games requiring accessories like a guitar how are you supposed to play it?
Switch is actually the easiest part of the setup. Since the games only have a single file. Yuzu is fairly straight forward. And there are places to get large batches of them... the rest of the setup would be much more time consuming to put together.
What gamepad did you use in this video? the most important part of this whole setup is the setup part. My concern is you have a gamepad like xarcade or a custom gamepad for an arcade build, does the setup actually work to where its 100% working on all these gamepads? Its been a long time, and I know this build has improved since previous years. I always hated how a windows update or error can kill a setup or install. You can make your own build and it be good but you waste alot of time, or you buy this and hope it works with your setup. I know this is the best build right now to get, but there is alot more not mentioned in this video that you got to think about, what question did you ask? im pretty sure it was an important one was it not if you had to reach out for support. Ive used hyperspin in the past and I dont like the program, ive even used bigbox and an update reset the entire config somehow, this was a year ago before they added the backup feature. What I would like to see example: is an exact computer build with an xarcade setup and computer build how to, with a os setup everything start to finish, thats what I want to see.
Actually the setup supports all control types and ill explain below. THe base control types are Xarcade, and Xbox... One is hardware based and the other is software. Then you have ipacs... also hardware, but configurable... so you can match the button set to the xarcade Xinmos.. are like wireable xbox controllers. So if the software layer lays over the hardware... there is zero conflict. And you can use both the xbox controllers at the same time as your Ipacs. Interchangable. And with this... it allows for universal controls across the board.
I really need to look into this more. I ordered my pie through your reviews years ago but I'm definitely considering a bigger build to get everything up to PS2 and arcades. I'm not interested t all in Wii U, Switch and modern games so maybe a 8 or 16T would be enough? Having the Ps3 games on top of that sounds like a dream
Hey man. I actually recommend the 8tb to the 16tb as the sweet spot of gaming. It gives you full arcade, full pinball and consoles upto Nintendo Wii U, which is really... only a couple generations behind where things currently sit. And for a fraction of the cost since you only need one harddrive instead of 3.
Most of the price is actually in the harddrive itself. I offer the a small setup, of 2tb... all the way upto to 48tbs. Which is obviously much more... but really the sweet spot of gaming is probably between the 8tb and the 16tb (Gives you like 90 percent of the games... and full sets upto the Nintendo Wii U). Which isnt expensive at all.
I wish this would have come out earlier this year when I got ripped off on Etsy by some idiot that thought he knew what he was doing and I bought a hard drive off him that was supposed to be plug and play and ended up being a pain in the ass. Totally had to change my computer and make a new drive and half the games don't even work and no returns accepted... It was $300. Could have got this one that actually works for $4 00
Sorry you had to go through that... Ive been around for 7 plus years and I support about 2300 people. On a side note... you probably still have the drive. Shoot me an email. Ill do a super fair reduced price for you. Get you going... if your unhappy with it. Ill give you back your money no questions asked. I dislike that this has happened to people.. your not the only one and it actually hurts the idea of selling the setup as it leaves people bitter... which is undersandable.
i all ready have full sets up to wii u been collecting since about 1997 (man it was fun to start with on a 56kmodem lol) not really been collecting for a number of years now and was wondering do you do specific sets for people like me that are just not up to date on the newer sets (not interested in pc sets)
I was in the same situation. Had countless full romsets that are outdated now. Basically Neo Geo, some Nes, some SNES, most of coin-ops related MAME sets were mostly bad dumps... I had to throw away 100s of GB worth of romsets that are just outdated and bad dumps... some worked flawless before but now wont run in more current emulators others were bad dumps and if you use a parent-child tree for say things like romhacks the ips patch is usually applied on the original rom before launching the temp file so an imperfect version of the rom simply will not match the areas needed.... In short I had to throw it all out of the window and redownload the romsets again.
Too those that say you can do ti's shit for basically almost nothing The problem is time and resources all those roms and then you have to download them and get them to work on the emulators These hdd preloaded have the hardwork done by someone who has all the roms and files so £500 for a drive full of playable games vs raging at trying to find roms for games and setting it all up
My question is, what happens when this hard drive fail? Is there a warranty? What about the keys for Switch games? Can a I add more games? I am not asking for myself. Ive been playing retro games for awhile now (Launchbox, Batocera , etc etc...). I know where to go and download these games and do the setup . But what about those that dont know how.
Oh hey man... you mean the Kris Cool Mod... Just to put things into perspective. Hes purchased off me at least 3 times... that I know about. To get my files and media etc. But.... He said PS3 is again another CD 💿 based where you don’t want to scratch the disc. That’s actually wrong. I used to work at a Gamestore when it used to be called Game Crazy and we would love PS3 trade ins from customers because even if blue ray discs were scratched, the data is still there and game won’t skip. PS3 was the first video game system to use blue ray discs unlike the XBOX 360. The data is embedded in the bottom of the polymer plastic disc so even if the top was scratched, the blue laser can pick up the data. That’s why it’s called Blue Ray. The XBOX 360 and Game Cube discs were not fun to fix scratches and depending if you can run your finger nails through the scratches, if the scratch is so deep, we can’t take the trade ins. Light scratches can easily be filled with our machine that seals like an enamel but with deep scratches nope!
@@drewtalks yes and no. Depending on the policy of the game store. But majority of the mom and pop video game stores have a $2,000 resurface machine that has a sand and reseal scratch so it doesnt affect the resale value. It actually increases the resell value. The resurface machine can literally allow you to sand the surface scratches and smooth out and after the enamel solution that’s poured into the scratches will save the disc. Again, blue rays have no problem with scratches. Even if it’s deep scratch the blue laser can still pick up the data. I know because we never had any returns on used blue ray PS3 games that we sell vs. XBOX 360, PSP, PS2, PS1 and GameCube games. However, the resurface machine has fixed so many deep scratches that we actually took the trade in. It’s only if we can run our finger nails into the scratch and feel its deep to the bottom then we know we can’t fix and after we trained employees on that, we had less loss in revenue and rare returns. After we resurface the discs, you can’t see any scratches and you see the disc very shiny and smooth. Also, when we sell used video game discs, we always ask if the customer wants to pay $5 for a used game warranty or we will sell $1 for resurface scratched games.
Your statement assumes you would be selling these to a store or someone who has a $2,000 resurfacing machine which might not be the case. If I just list these on ebay you have to select "like new" "very good" "good" "fair" which would effect the resale price
Its missing 1 16tb drive... The xbox 360 drive, and the additional ps3 drive. So all in all... about 3000 games, with the handful of smaller wheels also missing.
They're pretty close to full sets if not full sets. This has always been the goal. Also its not so much about game count... Many of the setups that you see out there claim 100k games.... that's all garbage. Even on the 48tb your barely pushing 70k... and that's a real number. These people saying 100k plus are lying... mame for instance only has about 4300 working games without clones.. doubles. Etc
They play fine... and they all have 4k previews as well. The settings portion is actually part of the install, where it integrates the registry component for you. Which hold all the gpu/control settings etc. It will also install flex DMD, B2S, and the registry injections for popper... as some of the newer VPX talbes require them The following wheels on the drive are as follows. Visual Pinball, Future Pinball, FX2, FX3, FX (Via Nintendo Switch DLC), Pinball Arcade, Zaccaria Pinball and Ice Cold games. (Ice cold beer, etc). I just updated to 10.8, and now I even have a VR wheel with 126 tables.
Not really... however.. the 2tb version of the drive, comes with the same base as the 48tb. So if you were to grab that, you would have all the media, settings, directories, Controls... everything laid out so you could add your own games. Youd just have to make sure they were in the correct place...a nd the naming was correct. The correct directory could be seen by looking at the RL settings. Its all there. Thanks man

Ive got the sinden totally integrated. 1. First you run demulshooter... which is used in a number of the emulators. This will save the gun ID into its config file. 2. But the systems I'm drawn to are not what most folks want. I don't really emulate anything newer than probably PS2, etc....most of what I concentrate on are way older. I'm an Attract Mode user myself and have around 270'ish real systems with almost 500 or so total wheels (systems, collections, arcade board break out, etc). Switch is actually the easiest part of the setup. Since the games only have a single file. Yuzu is fairly straight forward. And there are places to get large batches of them... the rest of the setup would be much more time consuming to put together.
I'd be interested if it actually had Time Traveler on it
I thought my 512 gb sd card in my retroid 3 + was rediculous
Then you have ipacs... also hardware, but configurable... so you can match the button set to the xarcade
Xinmos.. are like wireable xbox controllers.
So if the software layer lays over the hardware... there is zero conflict. And you can use both the xbox controllers at the same time as your Ipacs. Interchangable.
And with this... it allows for universal controls across the board.
This actually looks incredible. Gonna look into grabbing the 48TB build

I just started the Black Fiday sale.

Love the old school games, Do you ship to Australia?
I do man, I ship worldwide!
I remember the saying "you can only drive one car at a time". This collection isn't to play every game.
Makes a killer arcade though for parties! But yeah, its a point that many would share with you
This is what you pull out when you want to flex.💪Impressive product!
Mancave flex
You had me until I saw the price tag. I do like the idea.
Imagine having to go around finding each and every game yourself. It's a very fair price for the service, artwork, and configuriations i think.
How much is it?

Damn, I'd get this just for the pinball.
Where can you buy this?
i all ready have full sets up to wii u been collecting since about 1997 (man it was fun to start with on a 56kmodem lol) not really been collecting for a number of years now and was wondering do you do specific sets for people like me that are just not up to date on the newer sets (not interested in pc sets)
Too those that say you can do ti's shit for basically almost nothing
The problem is time and resources all those roms and then you have to download them and get them to work on the emulators
These hdd preloaded have the hardwork done by someone who has all the roms and files so £500 for a drive full of playable games vs raging at trying to find roms for games and setting it all up
My question is, what happens when this hard drive fail? Is there a warranty? What about the keys for Switch games? Can a I add more games? I am not asking for myself. Ive been playing retro games for awhile now (Launchbox, Batocera , etc etc...). I know where to go and download these games and do the setup . But what about those that dont know how.
Does it also have access to cheatcodes? Are you able to apply cheats to the games?
Yes. there's cheat codes for MAME, Retroarch. And maybe one or two other systems.
Would you recommend this over the 96TB one you’ve previously done a video of?
Oh hey man... you mean the Kris Cool Mod... Just to put things into perspective. Hes purchased off me at least 3 times... that I know about. To get my files and media etc.

Nice to know, the scratching would effect the resale value though, no?
