Try to set the Audio Output to PCM or LPCM when you use 3.5mm jack or RCA output, also can you please share if the tv remote controls the volume output of this device ?
Thank you for your suggestions, actually now I have returned this converter in future will purchase another one and make video. When I connect soundbar or home theatre using optical or hdmi I have to increase volume through home theatre. Using universal remote feature I can control home theatre volume from tv remote.

You can buy hdmi to optical converter but you need to connect chromecast, firestick etc to this converter and from output connect optical cable to soundbar. It also has hdmi out for video to connect with TV. amzn.to/3sQ9nta
Sir i watched your video just now and did liked the video .my question is my tv doesnot have optical port but my Airtel xtreme box has optical port so i connected to soundbar it works when i watch content in xtreme box .but when i watch content in mi tv interface soundbar does not receiving sound output coming from tv. you can buy hdmi arc to optical converter and connect with tv arc port. from converter to soundbar connect using optical cable
now connect dth stb with tv with hdmi cable. you will get tv sound on soundbar.

Dolby atmos backward compatible hai 5.1 channel ke, jaise 4k content to hd tv me dekh sakte hain vaise hi dolby atmos ko 5.1 channel soundbar me sun sakte hain.
But for full enjoy atmos your soundbar should be atmos compatible like 5.1.2 channels.

@@ShamS_7070 optical is fully supported dolby 5.1 channel, earc ke liye soundbar aur home theater me earc hona chahiye. Earc only works for uncompressed dolby atmos that is found in blu ray player only dolby True HD, all ott like netflix, prime etc use dolby digital plus for atmos that works hdmi arc.

If tv has universal remote it will work otherwise need soundbar remote to control volume in optical connection.

Sir it does not have the option of pass , 2.1 and 5.1. I would like hdmi arc to pass through 5.1 channel audio. Then on the convertor I would like to switch to 5.1 and then connect the convertor to my old sony home theater with an optical cable. Please suggest!
It is by default sending signal to soundbar using optical cable 5.1 channel.
Other converter also does not have any change via channel selector.

I was a home theatre user. Since these days dvd stopped and repairing become almost impossible due to unavailability of parts. I got Govo 950 sound bar. I have an old led with fire stick lite and HDMI audio extractor. Still when I play video on youtube with 5.1 audio option on, there's no sound at all. If I turn it off there's stereo not surround. What can be done or need to be done?
on TH-cam all content not 5.1 channel try with hotstar, netflix, prime etc and check

I tried with Disney Hotstar, it's same there as well. Now I just found out Govo 950 is not Dolby Digital, is that the reason it's just throwing stereo and not real 5.1 surround??

Hdmi earc is backward compatible with hdmi arc. But you will get dolby 5.1. For atmos 5.1.2 you need hdmi earc. But some 4k tv can pass atmos over hdmi arc also.
You can connect TV to soundbar using hdmi arc no issue.

Aaj 9baje ek video dalunga usme Mai hdmi arc ke issues ke kuch solution bataunga. Hdmi cec ko off karde, sari hdmi cable nikal dijiye, soundbar aur tv dono ko power plug nikal kar 60 sec wait karo fir se power plug lagaiye.
Now connect soundbar with tv using hdmi, in tv sound settings select sound output as hdmi, in sound format select auto in place of pcm.

Arc to optical mahga hi hai, hdmi to optical thoda sasta hai par usme tv ki awaj nahi aayegi, koi device connect karni padti hai jaise amazon fire stick, android box or dth set top box.
