Actually you will get the same quality sound by Converter or direct AUX connection
Converter is a device which help you for connection
When you connect on optical or HDMI port it will Receive High Audio Bandwidth but when it reach at destination and connect in AUX port it will receive minimum Audio Bandwidth

First of all you just understand HDMI earc support more audio bandwidth as compare to HDMI arc. it will also support on dolby atmos
when you connect HDMI earc to HDMI arc it will work like HDMI arc to HDMI arc connection.
You can connect from HDMI arc to HDMI earc or vice versa
you will not feel more difference in dolby digital content.

Hello Sir. I need ur help urgently. My YAMAHA YHT 299 Amplifier is connected to 5.1 speakers via HDMI. It was working fine till Sunday however my electrician had just placed the wire from behind the TV to set it internally however post reconnection I see that my Amplifier which is connected to TV HDMI 3 is not not working. I even tried replacing the HDMI cable and changing HDMI ports too but it's not working. Kindly advise what could have gone wrong and what settings can be made manually. My set top box is connected to HDMI ARC which is working fine but Amplifier connected to HDMI 2/3 does not gives any sound as before. Pls help. Thanks for always helping me. Waiting for ur resolution

2. Fire tv me dolby plus or Dolby digital hai Jo tv me connect hai.
3. Home theatre me 5.1 dolby hai.
4. Hot star me content bi Dolby hai 5.1
But jab sab chalta hai toh 5.1 wala output nahi aata. 5.1 content select karte hai audio ana band ho jata hai.

In your case it will not work, because your TV doesn't support Dolby Digital.
Decode sound root through your TV to sound bar.

Agar apka PC me optical port he then ap optical port me connect karsaktehge, nehi to apko Bluetooth or AUX me connect karna padega
