I have held that image of him in my mind for 16 years...sitting in the alleyway, playing with the shard of broken glass. I was only 14, home sick from school, but I remembered that image so clearly all these years. I never knew what episode it was from - but now, thanks 2 u, I know!! TY TY TY x 1 million

By now the desire is almost as much of a sin as the act itself. It doesn't make him feel any better knowing that he didn't do it, because it doesn't change the fact that he wanted to.
Completely agree with you. It was during this time that the writers were aiming to make Todd and Marty a couple. Sick! That's why Roger Howarth left the show back then.
I remember reading some surveys in the Soap Mags at the time before the internet and homes having PC's some fans wanting Todd&Marty to be a couple because RH&SH had great chemistry together in scenes. The more TPTB heard about that the more Todd & Marty were put together in scenes think they made lines just to do that! This stuff pissed off women's groups, rape survivors, women even some men in real world thought it was sick and Roger & Susan agreed esp. Roger bet that had a lot to do with his young wife Cari and other females he know out here... I was proud of him for balking about that! Besides it would have ruined his career would have soared like it it would have of tanked we would have lost a great actor, yes!

OK I went back and watch Todd and Marty old scene and that fool was SCARY. I use to not like Marty like dang honey get over it he's sorry BUT after seeing the way he tormented her in the ally and church maaaannnn I understand why people hated the friendship between them lol. those scenes were nail biting
I agree blair lied to him payed afyer cord he treated her like gold he didn't even know after her miscarriage she ran to cord but she saw him.w/ tina then ran to cord. Todd was about 10 years younger than blair so she used his immaturity pariah status to push him around. Her plan sadly was to fake a miscarriage as she knew she'd be way late on a birth thats why she looked terrified to have unprotected sex w/ todd. He also hayed llainview yet blair literally told him to stay in florida now that she had half when he didnt know . What husband would wait 2 montjs for even a kiss then he tried to.express he wanted sex again & baby & always let blair lead the show. If blair never provoked todd to fire luna they'd be ok.as cord said. Cord even warned her stop this stupid buisness war. She should have stopped messing w/ max & luna. Todd also 2x tood her he loved her & she distracted him w/ sex the first i love u todd even stopped mid foreplay & asked her if she wanted to take her birth control & said no & they made beautiful starr. Then blair went on about power $$ & todd " its nit that it's the love I love u blair. " crickets " well one day ull say it back to me " then she distracted h8m on the couch w/ sex. Its sad when she was tipped off she didn't tell todd it love u & I did pretend to be pregnant forgive me. Instead she kept lying knowing todd was not gonna stop til he learned the truth. Esp given max told him tina & asa told him wake up she's suddenly pregnant marries u days b4 u learn about 30 million. Also blair heard todd freaking & runs to her lawyer to take all the $$ she could then still tells cord she " lost him" cord finally said I'm over u & ur over me u love todd. Hmm mm then why didnt she ever say it ? Sadly she was gonna abort starr til asa told her his heir gets it all. I mean look here blair already has socked her lawyer to him. Even cassie admits what blair did was rotten . The marriage ending was her fault. Then she decided to w/ dorian to hide his baby away.
Blair said one rigjht thing sadly he knows only one way to pay back a woman. But he stopped himself befire he started. He wanted to punish blair who lets be honest hurt him so badly. His confrontation w/ her he shold never went there. He was too angry righfully so.
I always thought they would hook up Todd and Marty though that would have been wrong on every level, but I was young when I first saw these episodes. Thankfully, the actors protested against the idea b/c that is exactly where the writer was headed. Todd and Marty did have an interesting chemistry!
Yeah . . . I heard about that! Completely disgusting. Thankfully, Roger returned to the show as the "real" Todd Manning and wiped out that horrific tale!
Yeah . . . I pretty much quit watching after Roger left and when they made Walker Lawrence, TSJ's original character, Todd Manning. I did watch to see Roger's return though! I love how he said the first clue that something was off should have been him willingly dating and/or marrying Marty Seabrook! The real Todd Manning would have NEVER done that!
Razor Smith Completely agree. TSJ sucked as Todd. I didn't watch most of his years, but I was ecstatic when the "real" Todd returned!!! At least OLTL corrected that mistake before leaving the air.
@@la214la tsj had a really big ego. He also hated todd & blairs cycle & did not want them together at all. He pushed hard for any pairing other than blair. I think he resented comparisind to roger so played the anti todd & knew blair was Rogers todd flag ship couple. Todd never would have slept with Marty & he was not very nice to starr. The fact that he wanted to steal stars child was crazy. His todd rarely saw viki. Thank god roger came back & it erased all of that in a way.

Definitely. A lot of damage was caused by the abuse when he was a child. That's what often happens when you torture and abuse a child. But they did a good job having him struggle and fight to become a better person over the years.
hmm wait a minute...maybe it was summer vacation? And maybe it wasn't the very first time b/c I seem to remember them on the floor eating Chinese food...and I think that aired before this...but in my mind this is one of the first times I saw him anyway :) Sorry for the rambling!
