Thank you. This was a very good podcast. Learnt some valuable lessons. Behroz bhai in future videos can you give some insights into the net worth of your guests (if they are willing to disclose) relative to their yearly income. I understand hypothetically earning a 10% yearly return on a million dollar invested would give financial freedom if annual expenditure is 100 K.But there might other non cash generating assets in personal use (such as house, car etc if not mortgaged). It would be interesting to know what percentage of personal wealth constituted of income generating assets for individuals who have attained financial freedom in life.
Amazing podcast. Host plz advise that to plan as per your topic, where to start or invest as a beginner in the Canadian market. So many scams out there.
10 percent annual return is unsustainable if you are looking to use the money for daily expenses. 6 percent is more realistic. Even with 6% return you need to reinvest at least 2% for future for inflation.
Imagine if you have 1 million and the market dips 20% and you have to take out 100k for living expenses. You are in trouble for later years. This could be one of the reasons the guest was looking for job in covid.
S&P 500 has delivered 10-12% return in past 30 years… and blue chips on average have delivered north of 15%… Hence 10% is realistic for some one with a risk appetite like his to invest mostly in blue chip… My risk appetite is not that high… hence for me 10% may not work… but for him it’s doable and I see why…
Thanks for your response. SPY etf has not returned 10% over last 30 years. Please see the price in 1994 and compound it to 2024. Please also look at the returns 1994 till 2014. I appreciate the concept of keeping 3 years living expenses aside. That makes sense. Keep up the good work.
@@NorthAmerican-Desithrilling life na jiye tou kya jiye Asad sb 😅. Btw covid was a unique rare event. These events happen once in 100 years, so you are right that I was not prepared for that especially since I retired a year ago (2019) only. Didn't know that next year will be covid.
Hi. I am a Muslim by birth. My parents named me just like that🤷🏻♂️. Now my beliefs are more agnostic. My whole family is muslim. None of us converted from Christianity or Hinduism.
Hello. Really Nice Video. You mentioned in a video that there's a friend of yours in Canada who is a mentor that helps with getting a job. Could you please share his name/social media. And how do I contact him. Really needed help thanks!
You mentioned that you have a friend who came to Canada at around 50 years old and then didn't do job in Canada. But instead started a business where he helps people get jobs in Canada 🇨🇦

That is why he said keep on the side 2 to 3 years of expenses so you can ride out market volatility
