well that is exactly the mistake investors make... if i run the math that is like ~38% return year on year that also if you took a mortgage on it - if not they that return would be even lower... which is good.. but guess what investing in APPL would have earned you 50% return in past 5 years (year on year)... so not so good any more

Nice videos you guys are making, thanks for it! This maybe helpful for immigration aspirants i.e. first thing to keep in mind is to do personal research, which is not very difficult nowadays as mostly the information is available online. For example, want to evaluate what Canadians think they need for retirement (let's say at 65 or 70 as preferred by govt), 1.7 Million dollars for 12 years as 82 year is the average life expectancy. It is not even possible for many Canadians to think about it as the CRA (tax agency of Canada) data for 2022 says that about 63% of the individuals (whole Canadian population) earned 50k or less in that year which was even not enough to deal with the day to day expenses so forget about retirement plan. Better to evaluate the situation thoroughly especially nowadays when there are so many economical/political issues/challenges are going on in these countries e.g. new US administration are not looking so promising in dealing with neighbors etc.! www.ctvnews.ca/business/canadians-now-expect-to-need-1-7m-in-order-to-retire-bmo-survey-1.6262927

It is rather a "biased" opinion only referring to the disadvantages of Dubai/Middle East. You should also highlight the disadvantages you have faced or "foresee" in North America. I have been living in the west for the past decade. To summarize, every place has pros and cons.

Yes every place has pros and cons… depends which factors you value most and which you factor least..

Good points made. I feel lots of Desi parents waste money on social upkeep. Big houses, expensive cars, international vacations, just to look good and blend in with their communities. I see it as a total waste of money, especially if it was done on the expense of your retirement or kids education money. Can you talk about this waste of resources on a social show off?

I don’t think children as insurance. I don’t want anything from my kids. I want all from my money. I would never want to be a burden on kids or anyone. Desi=labour (uber drivers) thought 🤮
