@@robertmailhos8159 This I know. I just would like to be able to know exactly. There is also the open sided models. If I spend money on a service manual, I want to know that my specific year is in the manual. Thanks.

Awesome tractor! Do you have any pictures of the idler pulley system that allows the belt for the mower to do the 90 back to the electric clutch/PTO? I have a 165 with a deck but no idlers, and they are impossible to find/get a picture of so that I can make one. Thanks.

I'll work on that. Sounds like a good idea for a video.

I bought a new LGT 125 in 1981, if I remember right it was $3199 for tractor and mower and a rear mounted rototiller that was $499 (I think) the 125 had a 12hp Kohler, it would mow or till with plenty of extra power, that would be a beast compared to mine, FYI the transaxle takes straight 30 weight detergent motor oil, same for the Kohler engine, I wish I still had mine 😐

It’s ironic that Ford Motor Company mounted a Kohler engine on this machine. I suspect this wasn’t even built by Ford, but is a rebadged unit made by a company like MTD, AYP or Noma.
I’d be interested to hear about the actual genesis of this machine and how Ford came to be offering them. Were they sold at Ford dealerships or elsewhere? How many of all models did Ford sell, etc?

This was actually made by Jacobsen.

@@RealManSkills That makes sense, at least about the manufacture of it.
