I recently installed it on the Rog ally, it's a game changer for me, gameplay feels so much smoother on Bazzite than it does on windows 11, it's perfect.
if you install the hhd-decky plugin, you can change your controller emulator to dualsense edge. This will make the back buttons remappable in steam input, so you can disable them while in-game.
hhd-decky should be available in the default install on Bazzite. You should only need to hold the settings button for a few seconds to bring it up. I also tend to recommend changing the buttons within hhd-decky to remap the default layout so that the select / start buttons are the ones at the top of the device instead of the buttons in the lower left.
keep makling more videos on Legion go. I am about to get one and I like the content you are makin on it. A complete guide on setting up emulation on Legion Go Bazzite will be great.
Im really loving how you tried helldive difficulty. Other bench mark videos show them at level 1 or 2. Those dont eat nearly as much resources as 9. Thank you.
Might be in the minority but I'm using the Legion Go connected to an external monitor more than I am using it in handheld mode. I can't imagine losing all the desktop capabilities of the device.
Bazzite contains a desktop similar to the steam deck so not really sure what you mean. It sounds like you are saying you would miss windows in which case ... Okay.
@TheXipherZero bro windows is better for majority of people and more useful especially in his case because from what I understand he use LeGo as a main pc. So in this case is better to dual boot, if you need windows run windows but when you need that console handheld experience run steam os.
@@OleksiiK21 Not looking to stoke fanboi fires over here, just pointing out that Bazzite contains a fully competent desktop. If on the other hand someone wants to use Windows... then what the hell are they even looking at Bazzite for since the LeGO ships with a functional, albeit not great on a handheld, windows install. Dual booting is also a solution , but with the anemic storage on the LeGO Im not sure it really makes much sense. My LeGO has been running Bazzite since the day I got it, but if I had a need for windows (Not really sure what that would have been), I would not have bothered with bazzite since 1TB isnt really enough storage for both operating systems and games.
@@OleksiiK21Also... he's saying he 'can't imagine losing all the desktop capabilities of the device' in regards to bazzite. My whole point was that this is a misconception on his part. Unless he is doing engineering work that requires autocad or a job that requires adobe products there really isnt any capability difference between Windows and a Linux based OS like bazzite.
I traded my steamdeck oled for a legion go. I thought I got the deal of a lifetime but I ended up missing my deck. I really hate the resolution this has, it'll rip through your battery life and i now have it set to 800p. Not sure why its such a high resolution. The only thing different is that i can play 2042 and warzone. I am looking forward to using steamos on this handheld. Thank you for this video man. But i miss my steamdeck!
Well I was comparing the way people see the handheld market. If you want a handheld that just works you go with the Steam Deck, if and you want more tweaking and a better optimization you go with the Legion Go.

@@Moskeeto No, he really meant hydra launcher to play games. Chimera is the OS just like Bazzite and Hydra is a launcher just like Heroic Games Launcher.

You Are right 100%, I think Lenovo should have just just made the display 1080p, The 2K screen is overkill.
Is it me or the games are very dark I can't see anything
Do you get both game and desktop Steam os modes with this installation?
Yeah you can see it on the desktop
I feel like running at 800p will get u a lot more performance and play time
But Then I should have just gotten a steam deck lol 😄
does it support using the right controller in fps mode?
Great video keep up the good work.
Is the battery life improved ?
The frametime graph doesn't look to good in Elden Ring.. There is probably a chance for further optimization..
Probably because of shader cache is being compiled while playing, unlike steamdeck that has pre compiled shader cache.
Yeah it was all over, I think there's a weird issue where when the battery gets low the device gets buggy with wattage
Question 🙋🏿♂️ does anti cheat work ? Like warzone etc ? I’m still finishing the video by the way lol
Since we are running a copy of Steam OS any workaround for Steam OS will also apply to the version.
Steam would be great if everything wasn't such a hassle to get to run not talking about the anti cheat bollox
I'm watching your Elden ring. You can do that on legion on Windows lol.
Try the switch emulator

Lol no steam os is not unless all your looking for is a console exp. But for a mobile PC gaming power house nothing unfortunately touches windows.
lol on my oled deck I play Elden ring at max graphics and still manage 45-60fps
I HIGHLY doubt that

Great, so now you can run all 30% of games much faster and 70% not at all, what a deal!
