The reason why Lenovo legion go will never outperform in total sales versus to steam deck, it's the same reason why the Nintendo game boy outsold the Sega game gear better battery life and lower cost.
This video honestly felt like a waste of my time bro, everyone knows about the power behind the Legion GO and all that, it has other issues such as the battery draining too fast for a handheld and the OS and most importantly the community is not as good as it is with the Deck, also Valve is simply a better more supportive company to deal with. Legion Go is more powerful that is all its got going for it's self but if you want power you can just go for a computer or normal console since you're pretty much going to have to be plugged in with this thing to really play anyway. the Deck mastered the middle ground that works best for a handheld this is not even a contest right now.
I agree with a few things in the comment, Windows OS sucks when it comes to handheld. In my next video I'm going to install steam OS on the Legion Go to see if I can get a better experience.
I'm in the market to buy one of these handhelds and just selling off my newer consoles when i move. My question is, how good does the WWE 2K games run (all the games before 2k20) ?
Let me save you from disappointment. The 512 TB steam deck OLED is what you want don’t waste your money on anything else. You DONT want the etched glass anti glare screen version because the screen quality is fuzzy so get the regularly glossy screen
I almost bought a Go when I wanted to get a new handheld, but what got me to get the Deck Oled was it being a handheld with much better battery life, HDR, OLED display, touch pads that is amazing for the controller customization for games and the OS is much better to play games. I wanted a console like expired since I prefer console gaming (don't play much games on PC) and the Deck with quick resume after sleep is amazing and I didn't care about online games for anti-cheat as I am done for now with multiplayer games.
Dude, I have my Legion Go from Launch and coming from a steam deck lcd screen which I still have and for me the Legion is the real upgrade when coming from the deck, The Oled is not a major upgrade other than battery life, Legion display is way better than the Oled and way bigger, that's a major go when it comes to these hand Helds. not to mention The Legion is more powerful when running those Triple A titles that Steam Deck can't handle and that's why windows is important.
As someone who has both devices my self, my conclusion is that the legion go is the most powerful and can pretty much run anything smoothly as long as you can tweak the settings. But for overall experience with a smooth operating system and simplicity the steam deck wins hands down as it’s so easy to use and navigate. But for me personally I just love the Lenovo go with the screen and how versatile it is, yeah sure it takes some getting use too but when you get the hang of using it and your head around everything, this machine becomes something of its own. If you are someone who liked to play your triple A games and it’s too bothered about 4K graphics and just want to play your games on the go then the legion is great as long as you can get used to it being a hand full to get your head around. But if you are someone who just wants to hop on a system when ever and quickly load up your favourite indie game then the steam deck is the one for you, it’s so easy to just turn on and start playing right away, something that the legion go lacks. Yeah sure the steam deck can run some triple AAA games well and the community aspect is unrivalled. On the steam store every game has a ranking system from in playable to somewhat playable to playable and this shows you if it works right out the box, or if you need to tweak some stuff to get working. Personally I’m my opinion it depends on what you want from the consoles. If you want simplicity and easy to use gaming then get the steam deck. But if you want something powerful and unique that can run basically any game and you don’t mind tweaking setting the legion go is the one for you. Hope this helps as you can tell my reviewing skills are shite hahah
@@johernandez266 definitely not that os was trash especially on tablets back in the day tbh windows 11 needs a little polish at most ever one is over exaggerating how bad it is especially with the freedom it give you I wouldn’t even want it to have a dedicated os it would just limit my device for comfort no thanks lol go get a switch if u want that
with suyu switch does not struggle on deck "mostly 60fps" but i had to make my own srm config for it, legion go is awesome in its own right but i'm happy with my steam deck lol
What make a great desktop doesn't make a good handheld. The Steam Deck was already large when it comes to an handheld and Legion Go is even larger. I just assume to game on my laptop which outperforms the Go and has a 17" screen. If someone is going to have only a single PC Legion Go is a good choice but it's not great as a wireless handheld on the go and it's can't perform as well as a gaming laptop. I just want a decent handheld to play older and indy titles on the go and play the more demanding games on my desktop/laptop. There are PC games that better to play on keyboard and mouse on a larger screen. One of the reason I like PC gaming I'm not bound to play games on a single piece of hardware.
SteamOS is ppretty great, some of the Older "Made for Windows" games are a pain in the arse to get going, gotta try all kinds of different stuff like PortProton, Lutris, Wine Windows Program Launcher" (not WineQT yuck) but, you can get just about anything ready to go if you really wanna play it. not really hard to do... just not a lot of good videos on HOW to do it... or What Things DO, or How to USE the THINGS... you could do avideo on that and get a Million Views righht off the bat...
and do you think that the component of your beloved Steamdeck came 100% from the US or any Euro countries? i bet you 80 - 90% of the component came from Chyna or Taiwan.
No really, I had both devices and depending on what you play the steam Deck can be a great option, I play a lot of emulation so I find the Legion go to be a better experience with the screen and performance.

PS3 and Xbox are better on the Legion go, in my next video I'm running steam OS on the Legion go to see if you get a better experience.
what emulating program are you using to have them all those consoles together?
Emudeck and I'm using the Emulation station launcher
