Definitely the fight that defines the Mortal Kombat story line since both ninja clans have a huge blood rivalry. Hoping to see the Elder vs Apachai and Kenichi vs Jihan from Kenichi OVA.
I grew up watching old Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan movies among things like mortal kombat and as I got older I found my interest dwindled but watching this guy be so excited and passionate about it reignited a spark within me and I’ve been binging them ever since so thank you me kickboxing man for that it reinvigorated something I have nostalgia for and love.
Fun fact: The music in this fight scene is "Leave You Far Behind" by Lunatic Calm. A remix of this same song called the Lunatic's Rollercoaster Mix, is the music used in the Dojo fight scene from The Matrix
This is so bad it is actually good to watch and see how far we have really come in the last 30 years in relation to martial artists and fight scenes. It just shows you how far ahead Bruce Lee, Jet Li and Jackie Chan were in relation to these guys. Fun to watch, but nothing beats the champions👊
The problem with Annihilation was 2 things: -it took itself too seriously. -it tried to go more over-the-top than the first movie already had, while still doing the first thing. It was campy as shit, but also it tried not to admit it was campy as shit, and that just spoiled the fun of it a bit. There were some great moments, but it needed to lean into them more instead of pretending there wasn't anything dumb going on.
There was a short TH-cam made film called Mortal Kombat Legacy in 2011 that featured MJW as Jax. It features a GREAT and brutal fight between Johnny Cage and Baraka. Absolutely amazing.
I'd highly recommend you to check out Scorpion vs Sub-Zero fight from the Mortal Kombat: Conquest TV series (1998). I thought that fight was more impressive than this one. Chris Casamassa returns as Scorpion in that one and JJ Perry plays Sub-Zero, so it's a fight between two highly skilled fighters. Expect lots of impressive moves. In fact that TV series had a lot of great and well-choreographed fights.
And... You never see Scorpion again... One of the major problems of this movie is they focused too much on the fights (which most of them also aren't even good) and not enough on the story and characters. There's too many characters who just disappear after one or two scenes.
These first movies were good when you're a kid. Fun fight scenes with characters that you love, but the choreography was pretty bad in just about all the fight scenes 😂 No shade on the actors at all, just the fight choreography was very tame and not pushing the boundaries at all. Especially when you had to compare fighting in movies to ones from Jean Claude Van Damme at the time.
I tried to check if you'd done this before and didn't see it. I just finished watching Skin Trade from 2014 with Tony Jaa, Dolph Lundgren, and Michael Jai White, and it has a couple of great fight scenes where Tony takes on each of them - th-cam.com/video/mB1p6aX_kOM/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/CjDpdgp_N8s/w-d-xo.html
Yeah that movie is absolutely terrible. I still say it is better than the one that came out last year though. I have always been jealous of Liu Kang's amazing hair in those movies though. Its like shampoo commercial quality.
SUCKERRRRSSSS! That line always cracks me up
That one was right at the audience.
SUCKERS! lmao I could never forget that line.
3:30 Scorpion is standing right behind Kitana when Liu Kang is giving Sub Zero a hand. In the next scene he is suddenly gone again and pops up!
It literally is only the best fight out of the entire movie! Scorpion and SUB zero always make things better 😂😂

Man jackie Chan vs Benny the jet in meals on wheels and dragons forever will always be in my top 10
This is classic, it’s so cheesy it’s good! Love it!😂🖤🤷♂️
Back at it again max.
3:31 Gentlemen Scorpion waiting for his cue to kidnap Kitana
Best fight of the entire movie
Really crazy fight. Keep it up Max

Didn’t realize Keith Cook was both Reptile and sub-zero though the second I saw I picture of him I knew he was sub-zero
That portal special effect was rad haha. Had me rolling when I saw that thing!
SUCKERS!!!!
You should react to Ip Man vs Twister from Ip Man 2 and Ip Man vs Karate Master on Ip Man 4 I believe I guarantee you'll enjoy it
There was a short TH-cam made film called Mortal Kombat Legacy in 2011 that featured MJW as Jax. It features a GREAT and brutal fight between Johnny Cage and Baraka. Absolutely amazing.
They made a series of shorts with that same cast
There’s a short film called Mortal Kombat Legacy: Cyrax and Sektor. You should react to that.
This my guilty pleasure movie. Idk what it is but, I just love watching it 🤣
Scorpion saying "SUCKERSSSSS!" Will never not be funny.
Whoof! This movie. They got really great martial artists to perform in it though.
Should look at the bar fight in Battle Angel Alita
Do the figth of hajime no ippo
Andersson vs kamogawa and nekota!!!
Wira 2019 final fight recommend it
Next do the Jax Vs Cyrax fight.
Love this fight scene pretty stiff likking shots but nice dumb fun

why didn't Liu Kang tell Sub-Zero that he could jump to the other side instead of letting him build an ice bridge for nothing???
Забавно он произносит - "анал и нэйшон"...
React to jax and Sonya vs cyrax next
👊🏾👊🏾✊🏾👊🏾

That’s the best part of the movie they should focus on the fights the issue is the special effects
can you please make a reaction on some fight scenes from Run all night (2015)? There're not many of them, they also short, but realistic
Please make a reaction video on final fight from the movie "ninja in the dragons den"

Same movie please react to Jax Vs Cyrax and Sonya Vs Mileena.

Sadly it's the only good fight in the whole damn movie!

Common the movie is not that bad, at least it had scorpion fighting subzero and this movie had one of raiden's very first fight scene in the 90s
the first movie WAS campy goodness. this one is one of the worst movies ever made
