Thanks for the laugh, Studman! When he was rolling in the dirt, after his bath, stops, gets up and looks directly at you. Like "ha!" You'll never keep me clean!
Wonderful to see a horse trainer who has no limit to the time spent working on them, and just being there , calm and quiet , asking not demanding.................................there is no one better than the Clever Cowgirl.
If I could have one wish it would be that every animal, not just horses, could have the respect and care you have for yours !!! Scarlett, the $25 horse looks like being the best bargain ever. She's growing up to be a beauty.
I appreciate how thoughtful you are in presenting episode content. You seem really organized in your topics and sequence of supporting ideas. Which contributes to your easy-listening feel. Thanks!!!😊
Yes, educating and training, not breaking a horse. Educating the horse to enjoy pleasing a person who appreciates him and then he will enjoy being a companion and doing new things together.
I agree. I’m watching the numbers go up by about 100 every video, including the shorts. It’s definitely not long now and certainly overdue. CC is fantastic. I LOVE her channel♥️🇦🇺
Knew Studman was gonna be okay when at about 21:25 he licked his lips. I learned that from one of your earlier videos. At 72 years old I'm learning about horses. Thank you!!! ❤❤❤
I have been around horses all my life and CC gets a lot of people saying Oh she/he loves u. Wrong. The reason CC gets the response from these horses is because they trust her. She has respect from them. Horses are so complex and fascinating CC gets it. Horses need to trust its us who need love. Thankgod some trainers recognise that.
I'm very proud of Scarlet but WAY TO GO, STUDMAN! He was able to work through his fear and come through the other side with flying colors! Great job, CC, for helping them both achieve peace with their saddling process.
Look at her, trotting around all proud. Sweet Scarlett.😍 Letting them finish with a success means so much. You would be just the best riding instructor, teaching not just what to do, but WHY you do it. Amazing.
Thank you, CC, for your videos. As a kid growing up in England, I pestered my father to get me a horse. I thought all I had to do was to call the horse to the gate and get on him/her to ride. Watching your channel and Steve . Young’s channel, I am getting an education in what it takes to own a horses. My father was right to refuse my pleas! Your channel helps to fill that horseless void.
I love CC’s channel AND Steve Young Horsemanship also. I’ve learnt so so much and CC, Steve, Tanya and Charlotte all seem so very lovely also. Sending love from down under♥️♥️♥️
Yeah, I would get some horses if I could.we had some on the farm when I was a kid, I was afraid of them . sometimes they would chase me when I crossed the pasture on my way to the creepy to go fishing. Once I fell and they all came to an immediate stop! ( of course! But I didn't know that then !)
I just love how gentle and considerate you are of your beautiful horses. It is evident they appreciate the attention you give them and come back for more scratches. ❤
I watch your training videos several times, reviewing sections that I want to revisit. I am writing this because you mentioned concerns about being boring. There is nothing boring about your videos, I find them relaxing and educational.
Love that you call him "a bit rollie poly" - he's just well-nourished :) Both Scarlet and Studman looks great. Awesome that Goose and Ziggy are making friends :)
What a precious boy...Studman. Look how good he stood on the second saddling!! Also, He seems to enjoy water and since he seems to be really good at holding his breath...maybe he's a swimmer! :-)) All kidding aside, I think that he'll make somebody a very nice riding horse.
Job well done! Love Studman first reaction to moving with the saddle. He actually seemed very much incontrol with his roll bucks, not once was he out of control. I think he will surprise you and make very easy gelding to train. It is obvious he is connected to you! Scarlet has grown into such a beautiful young lady. I see what you see, the potential in her down the road! She reminds me of a reining horse or a cutting horse. The gentle way you train will make it very easy for her to become a wonderful riding horse in what ever way you decide to go! I love and it shows the thoughtfulness you give each horse. You can tell they really love you.....God bless trainers/people like you! ❤

That was a productive day! Both Scarlet and Studman did awesome! I'm glad Ziggy seems to be settling in with his new herd. Thanks for posting this wonderful video! ❤
Scarlett is a corageous young lady and learning lots of new things about the world and everything in it. It's wonderful that Studman is slowly finding confidence with the saddle. Gus was hilarious, scratching his butt against his own food, yummy. Whiplash is a sweetheart as always. So is Ziggy, I'm glad Goose has warmed up to him a little. Once again such a beautiful video, thank you.
So fun to see all the horses doing well. Studman and Scarlet looked amazing. They both did wonderfully for their first time under saddle. Take care and God bless! 🙏❤😊🐴
Studman, I really like this horse. Despite his traumatic past, he is an intelligent, calm and quite self-confident animal. He interacts very well with other horses and does not get worked up. It is a shame that until now people have solved their incompetence with a whip, unfortunately stallions are more often exposed to this.
I love that you treat each horse as the individuals they are! Working with other animals all my life I've seen far too many people with the mindset that dogs are dogs, cats are cats, etc, instead of individuals that just happen to be a certain species. The fact that you're showing that treating them as individuals is best for them in the long run is wonderful! Yeah, it might take more time, but it's obviously so worth it! My cat Pearl is a prime example of how you have to treat animals differently. We adopted her when she was about 4 years old and the rescue said she was good with other cats...we suspect they said that because she came from a hoarder house with little to no attention and food scarcity, she was not okay with the other cat we have. Some others might have taken her right back to the rescue but we decided we'd give her a chance, since our other cat was confused but not aggressive towards her when she got hissy. We've had her a little over 2 years now and while she still gets hissy at times, the two of them have become friends and she even goes up to him for licks. He's taught her how to be a cat for lack of better terms, she plays now, cleans herself better from watching him, jumps, she looks for attention, she's not aggressive around food anymore, she even purrs, none of which she did when we first got her because we think she just never learned how to be a cat! We had to let her learn at her own pace, as an individual, and with good reinforcement and no yelling she's blossomed.

Super sweet Scarlet....Hard to imagine what would have happened to her had you not invested not only your money, but your love patience and time in her...🐎
Watching Studman buck brought back memories of my mare in her younger days. She always bucked, so I lunged her first, for 30 years. She never failed to give one big kick over her head. But Studman seemed to settle down quickly. When he was done, he stopped, licked, looked at you and seemed to have gotten it out of his system. I found it all very interesting. He's a really nice looking horse. But I'm in love with Ziggy. Best wishes!

Studman seemed to enjoy his time with you. He kept licking his lips and his ear was always tuned to you. He clearly loves and respects you! My dad's 12 year old mare kicks it up when I lunge her with the saddle on and I see it as she is adjusting her girth. When she is ready I tighten the saddle up and get on! I really enjoy your videos! Love watching your videos! They illustrate why Montana is called "Big Sky Country". I grew up in Arizona where we had a big sky, too, though not with your dramatic weather. I live in the NW woods now and I really miss that. I live vicariously through you! :)
This brings me back To the days I was training my 1st horse sneakers And why I call him the best horse in the world. The 1st time I put a halter on him, the 1st time I put a bridle on him, the 1st time I put a saddle on him, everything...... He took Everything new in his life Like It was candy, He loved it all. He was the #1 easiest horse in the world to train And he had never been touched by human hands until he was 2 years old and we bought him He spend his entire entire life In a In a field with the stud From the moment he was separated from his mom. The breeder basically took all the colts and Phillies
It's such a pleasure to watch you work with the horses. I can see their progress as they figure out what is safe, what you want them to do, and what they _can_ do. It must build their confidence every time you introduce new "scary" stuff and they shrink it down to "nothin' special" status. I'm sure the other horses watch what goes on, so, when it's their turn, they are better prepared to learn something new.

Love watching your videos! They illustrate why Montana is called "Big Sky Country". I grew up in Arizona where we had a big sky, too, though not with your dramatic weather. I live in the NW woods now and I really miss that. I live vicariously through you! :)
Many of us do. Wish I could turn back the clock.
A little bit to help with Skelly or anything else you might want/need.

Thank you so much!
Scarlett O’Hara!!!🥰🥰🥰
Perfect training day on the range! Thank you for the muzzle scratches. My "favoritest" part of a horse!
Studman!❤
That scarlett looked to you as her safe space is awesome
It's such a pleasure to watch you work with the horses. I can see their progress as they figure out what is safe, what you want them to do, and what they _can_ do. It must build their confidence every time you introduce new "scary" stuff and they shrink it down to "nothin' special" status. I'm sure the other horses watch what goes on, so, when it's their turn, they are better prepared to learn something new.
You almost made it to 100k subs! Not long now, with all the content you're making. I come to your page almost every day 😊. It's been so fun to watch everyone discover you & your horses.
