If l don't offer a 25 dollar replacement part , l can sell you a 450 dollar toilet. They are unabashed and have no shame industry wide. They know that retirees are older folks and either can't, don't know how or don't want to bother with it
Super ingenious. You could make this about 6 minutes long. It's be cool to see how you figured out the dimensions and see how it actually printed. Showing how you applied the epoxy and readjusted the spring would have been nice to see - especially if you held a light in the inner workings so you could actually see in there. In any case, super clever, really ingenious fix!
Hi Tom, Thanks for showing us how you installed this 3D printed part. Could you provide the stl file, or at least the dimensions of the piece you made? Maybe you could measure the spare you made yourself? Thanks, Jason
As many others, I am looking for a replacement piece. Managed to epoxy the broken piece back together with the help of a metal cylinder added inside for strength, but the spring is not working correctly.. what's the correct way to install the spring? It's lined up in the slot, but still doesn't make any tension to spring the pedal back up..
I have the same issue with my Dometic 300 series. Stepped on foot pedal one day (winter? not sure) and it snapped. I replaced the water valve but water doesn't flow. Don't want to buy a brand new toilet because of one (purposely designed?) weak link. The pedal open the ball valve but no water flow. Thanks to all who share experience and tips!
How do I remove the pedal? There is no action so I figure this piece is stripped/broken so I ordered this piece on Etsy. Just need to know how to remove pedal.
Hi Tom. This is very helpful. I am having the same issue with my Dometic 310. Could I buy the part from you. I am in Canada. I’ll buy a few of them to have on hand. Thanks in advance.
This is a major design flaw of dometic! Not making replacement pedals. Mine froze & broke where the water valve froze to the outside of the diameter of the pedal
Hi Tom, I find myself with the same broke foot flush paddle as in your video. I would be very interested in get the 3D printer file in make the replacement part if it is available. Thanks for any help you can give me.
I’ve fixed my model 311 similarly by installing a threaded anchor replacement but am having a problem with that spring! How did you finally get the spring into the right position?
Good day sir. You wouldn't happen to have the file that you used to make that piece for the dometic toilet would you. I'd be very interested in downloading that and trying to make it myself also. You did an excellent job of doing this. Two thumbs up 👍👍
Hi Tom! Are you willing and able to make a couple of these for me, or share the stl file information with me? Had the exact same challenge as you. Thanks in the event.
Tom, I have the same problem with the foot pedal. I have a coworker with a 3D printer. Can you please send me the STL file so I don’t have to buy a new toilet. Thank you sir!
Can i order the stem that you made for your toilet? I am in a world of trouble right now and absolutely can't afford to buy a new toilet. I will pay and cover shipping . Thank you Esther

Bro, seriously if somebody’s looking on TH-cam on how to fix a travel trailers toilet they probably don’t have money for power tools, and 3-D printers.
I don’t have access to a 3D printer. Anyone want to make these and sell them? I can turn it from plastic or aluminum but this looks better. Also, why epoxy? It’s screwed together. Just a little silicone should hold.
I just ordered off of Etsy. Thank you for making this.👍🏼
Could you share the link for that with me please mine just broke
Why in the world doesn't Dometic make replacement parts for this?

Looks like you've designed a piece lots of folks could use!!!!
Can you let me know what size screw goes in to the foot pedal on the dometic 310? I've lost the original and can't seem to find the answer anywhere.
How did you manage to get the foot pedal spring back in place? Installing the spring is the challenge I have right now.
Did you keep the dimensions you used in the 3d printer? Could you share them? Thanks
Did you get the file for this piece? I Need one ASAP!!!
Me too
