Man , I'm being as careful as possible and sticking with above average sets when i can , but now for pre orders its so early we have no idea what is in the sets lol
Agreed with this take. For the price of a bad set booster box I’d rather buy three blisters with a good promo of a great set. There are always better alternatives.
I think investing in "bad" sets is easier if you like the set, play the game and collect. If you're just a straight investor then ya it doesn't make sense. If i get stuck with my shrouded fable im ok with it. I'll open them up, play the game, and maybe get my favorites graded (for collecting)
I bought Battle Styles at $90. If you buy say a dozen boxes people will buy it over time. Many collectors want at least one bb of each set and they will sell just don’t go all in. Everything is relative…I can still get Silver Tempest at $125 but I have 15 and don’t want more. For me it’s a hobby / investment on the side….I don’t need 50 bb’s of each set as an investment. This is a fun side hobby not my retirement.
Battle styles and Rebel will grow, but verrryyy slooowwwly. If you have $250, do not buy Rebel. Buy something more exciting like Lost or Brilliant. Now Shrouded I kinda do like and I wouldn't mind buying more PC ETBs (if they're still around)
Personally I've liked shrouded fable. Those greninja gx cards were a good chunk for a PSA 10 and the Persian and houndoom are a good amount and the dusknoir family cards are good in PSA 10 and they were all easy as fuck to pull. At least for me it was. And the other gx box with the seahorse guy was a nice profit for an easy 10 cause I can look before u buy. So I loved shrouded fable

Love your daily videos bro
Nobody wants it until everyone wants it
i dont understand investing in bad sets.
They eventually go out of print
They're cheaper
Everything has a price.
If nobody holds battle styles, then that will increase liquidity
Bro, this time last year 151 was a bad set and NOBODY wanted it!! So there's that!
Its only a bad set if you can't afford all sets. One day BS will be expensive.
