    Very detailed review, thanks for your time for this! It's great to know that you love the sounding of it, since you have tried many microphones!

      Hey Ted good to hear from you my friend, seriously though for something it cost less than a hundred bucks that you can just plug into your computer with no other audio equipment needed, and it's going to make you sound really nice, I love that these things exist, I mean several years ago it probably would have been hard to find a USB microphone that sounds good now there's stuff like this out there which is awesome, something like this can get a lot of people off to a great start of vlogging or podcasting or You Tubing or anything else and sound good while doing it.

    I’m think the Vocaster series are just permanently discounted now. If that’s the case a new benchmark might be the Vocaster one and Berhinger xm8500?

      I think most audio interfaces these days that cost around $100 or more are all going to give you super awesome sound quality and at that point you're really more interested in what features does it have because you're not going to get way better selling quality going from like a scarlet solo to a SSL interface to a universal audio interface I mean they're all going to sound almost as good but they're going to have different features, if you're looking at Budget interfaces I don't have a whole lot of experience with a lot of budget interfaces so I have mainly interfaces in the 100 to $300 price range and they all sound surprisingly similar camera no I've heard hit and miss things about the behringer interface, the vocactor series looks pretty sweet but I've never used one this far as I can remember but I did come very close to buying one but I think it had a little less gain or something than I wanted I can't remember what it was but there was something that put me off from buying that one
      If they made a vocaster microphone I don't think I've ever heard that, but the behringer XM 8500 I mean for the super cheap price if you got an audio interface it'll make you sound pretty decent I think it's still what like 25 bucks or something and it comes with a nice little plastic case but it doesn't sound as good as something like this microphone in my opinion

      @@dannylightning-audio-reviews you’re spot on. I picked up a Vocaster two a month ago and I run my NT1s into it. Idk what I like them so much. I did run my sm58s into it as well with plenty of gain to spare. I like the processing they have built in and you can fiddle with it now but couldn’t when they came out. It would be interesting to see your opinion on the Vocasters at their lower price with what routing they do and processing. All this to say the Maono pd200x is my backup mic just in case all other options fail. It’s not the best but it just bloody works like the Fifine and even better with its updates.

      @@fallinmor i talk to a few people that review audio stuff who have vocasters and they really seem to like them. i might look into picking one up at some point, i wish i could afford to buy all the audio gear....

    Hi bro tonor td510 or fifine am8 which is best😢

    • @dannylightning-audio-reviews
      @dannylightning-audio-reviews  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      personally i like the sound of the AM8 better, its a little more neutral sounding but if you want that dark bassy sound the tonor has that, just be carefully not to get too close to the TD510 or it sounds a bit hollow and overpowering butat the right distance it sounds descent for the money. if you want mice that sounds a little more natural instead of that dark sound the AM8 is pretty nice. my advice is watch as many reviews as you can and see how both sound on many different voices before you decide, one thing interesting my TD 510 is built a bit different Thant the 510 the obscure mics channel received.

    This or Podmic USB?

    • @dannylightning-audio-reviews
      @dannylightning-audio-reviews  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you don't mind spending the $200 on the pod mic USB and you like the way it sounds, always watch as many reviews as possible that is a really nice microphone. This is just an inexpensive microphone that sounds nice, so I think it really boils down to your budget and which one seems to sound the best to your ear. I was surprised how much I like the sound of this k688, I also really like the sound quality of the pod Mic USB, I would say the pod mics definitely going to be a better build quality but I think which one sounds better is going to be subjective because they both have a very different sound and they both sound very good to my ear at least on my voice. I haven't watched a review from somebody else on the k668 in a long time so I can't remember if I liked how it sounded on other people's voices but it sounds really good on mine, so I think if you're looking for a budget option This should be a great choice but if you can spend a little more the pod mic is pretty sweet
