No that's not true. The reason why the bomb that Netero used was so powerful was because of post mortem nen. Nen becomes stronger after death specially when there is a deep hatred or devotion from the person emitting it. The bomb had an intense amount of post mortem nen which is why he was able to defeat the king. The bomb alone would not do be able to do that. It needed Netero's post mortem nen.

That’s not implied, we see the Rose wipe out a good portion of a city, the bomb seems no less powerful than when Netero used it, i guess Netero could have been using enhancement and post mortem Nen activated on it, but we have no reason to believe that.
The narrator doesn’t say anything about Netero’s nen being a factor.

The evolution in Netero final speech has 2 meanings: evolution and malice. Netero is basically telling him “you understand nothing of humanity infinite potential to evolve when it comes to be evil”, in fact what he did to kill him? No fighting skill, he use a bomb, which looked a lot like an atomic bomb, an extremely muss murder weapon that humans created to kill each other, because when it comes to find more and more evil and cruel way to hurt each other nothing can best humans.

Evolution is also about developing new technologies (i.e. how socities evolve), which could be used for good like medicine, but mankind chooses to develop can't help but create malicious and destructive policies like nuclear bombs.

It isn't quite that "evolution" has two meanings. A quirk of the written Japanese language is that Chinese characters are often used. For more complex and rare terms, they often add the correct pronunciation in small text next to it to make it easier to read. Japanese readers are used to these pronunciation guides being written next to names and characters. As a form of "wordplay," some authors started to misuse this "pronunciation" as a way of including explicit subtext or double meaning. However, it doesn't translate well outside of written Japanese. The manga basically said that the "evolution" Netero spoke of in that moment was actually "malice." In this case, the anime (in Japanese) took "evolution," which is what Netero said aloud, hence the subtitles also excluding "malice". The original intent of the text in the manga was to make a point - that the human evolution Netero is relying on here stems from the very fact that we fight and kill each other.

A cheap, mass produced bomb that proved "surprisingly lethal", meaning it's not even the deadliest weapon humans have. i.e., the only reason this fight even happened was because they couldn't drop it next to a population center. The King never stood even the slightest chance against humanity.

Meruem was so certain that he'd surpassed humanity in every meaningful way because he could defeat basically any human in 1v1 combat but didn't realize that humanity's real strength is in our intelligence. We'd already created weapons that far surpassed any kind of Nen abilities and could wipe out entire cities in the blink of an eye, and his success up to that point was because humanity had been limiting itself to operating on his level. I mean, it even specifies that the nuke used her was a pretty small and weak one. I also like how Meruem's one lieutenant with the wings and brawn flies into ground zero of the explosion to retrieve the king, and you see shortly thereafter that said lieutenant dies very quickly afterward, presumably from radiation poisoning from flying right into ground zero immediately after a nuke went off.

No, our "real strength" lies in our malice, Netero made this pun before activating the bomb. Meruem has both the strength and intelligence that come from humans, but it is still nothing compared to our wickedness, because only humans would think of creating a weapon capable of destroying mass populations, only humans would create radioactive bombs. That's why Meruem lost, in a battle of cruelty no one wins against humans. Palm even says that humans are much worse than chimera ants.

Netero accepted a mission and fulfiled it by any means, he was interested in the king and knew he was right even before the fight started but he still had to complete his mission , he did a fair fight , lost and admited his lose by telling Meruem his name. The bomb shouldn't be considered part of the fight , it was just a mean to ensure his mission.
