Pakistan has long been considered the Taliban's closest state benefactor since the group's inception. The relationship has largely endured through the Taliban's time in and out of power in Afghanistan, but since August 2021, relations seem to have deteriorated sharply. In this video, we take a look at the history between the Taliban and Pakistan, why things are getting worse, and how Pakistan's Taliban strategy backfired.

Pakistan originally supported Taliban and other radical groups to destabilize and extend their influence in central Asia, in the heyday of their power when Pakistan was a country growing economically. They used Islam more and more as a national glue, to counteract the strong divisive tendences of the several ethnic groups composing the country (one of which had succeeded, giving birth to Bangladesh).

Taliban isn't bashtu as you said in the first few minutes of your video the meaning is right but the origin is wrong
It's actually an Arabic word that means
    2 students
    1 student means Talib
    2 students means taliban
3 or more students means Tulab
    Edit:
    Deeper explanation
It is considered an Arabic word Pashto people just use an Arabic word because they don't have a Pashto equivalent for it. (A N) as people stated in replies exists in Arabic, in the arabic language if you want to make a word for 2 people/things then you either add "IN or AN" For example Talibin or Taliban, both of these words mean 2 students in the Arabic language. Arabic has a huge influence in Afghanistan and Pakistan because these 2 nations use the Quran and both of them have been under the Umayyad dynasty which is an Arab dynasty. Also trades with Arab merchants helped out. With all these factors included, we can see how huge the Arabic language and it's influence on these 2 countries Pakistan and Afghanistan. Just like How Greek, and Roman Empires have huge influence over the languages of modern day Europe.
