Lewis is definitely one of the few sportspeople who were born with the ability to do anything. It’s great to see him giving interviews not in a race suit or to a racing outlet.
...You do know there is a high chance there is a team of people around him at all times? Meaning the people laughing are the yes men? It's like that with most celebrities. Other than one or two production members and technical crew I doubt they'd put an audience of people in that room. That would make it really, really weird for the guests.
Love or hate Lewis as a driver, I do believe he has good intentions. I remember reading a story from a female staffer who he had asked what some of the challenges were for women in F1. She told him an example, that they were just told for the race in Saudi Arabia the next week, women would under no circumstances be allowed to use the hotel gym. They parted ways and a few days later, she got a call from the Saudi race promoters clarifying that the rule has been reversed. Turns out, Lewis threatened to boycott the race over it.
It wasn't a few days later, it was later that night or the morning after. And he didn't threaten to boycott he just went and had a word. But agreed he always wants to improve matters wherever he can
Lewis seems like a genuinely good person trying to use his fame to change the world. I joined watching F1 at the end of his dominance, so I don't really have an opinion of him as a driver, but he seems like good people.
I think good intentions is the right way to phrase it. I'm the opposite to your example, I really like him as a driver since he simply does something special every now and again, but I dislike his personality. When doing media stuff and on the radio he comes across as very protective of his legacy. For some reason that rubs me the wrong way. Edit: Having finished watching the whole thing, Lewis is a class act and I do like him when he's not talking about a race he's just driven.
Honestly one of the most humble and genuine interviews I’ve seen especially on this show. Can just tell he gives everything his all and the full send was real. GOAT behaviour!
The car was the GOAT. The driver had been right time right place. F1 isn't equal playing field racing. Quite the opposite, I thought he retired, then again I don't look at the second half of the time sheet
He just seems like such a nice guy and he handled the wings so well, wow. And what makes it even better is that he didn't show up here to promote anything, he just wanted to do it. This was just great to watch all around, hopefully he comes back in a few seasons once the sauces change up a bit.
I started as a Lewis hater and over the years realized there is genuinely nothing to hate about the guy outside of him being the GOAT or at the very least among the discussion for it. He's so genuinely down to earth and kind to everyone its incredible. Tremendous guy and a privilege to have in our sport we all love.

Lewis Hamilton is one of the most soft-spoken and sweetest people. Despite being an very accomplished athlete and famous, he always seems very down-to-earth and humble.
He's one of the only drivers in F1 from a normal background so he has a reputation of being more connected with reality than some of his peers. ...You do know there is a high chance there is a team of people around him at all times? Meaning the people laughing are the yes men? It's like that with most celebrities. Other than one or two production members and technical crew I doubt they'd put an audience of people in that room. That would make it really, really weird for the guests.
He is soo cute 🥺🥺🥺
I've never seen Sean struggle so much with sauces. Hope to see Lewis back, he was legendary in this interview!
Turns out, Lewis threatened to boycott the race over it.
thats actually wild and very nice ngl
Great story! There’s actually a lot of up and coming talented young women drivers these days!
Edit: Having finished watching the whole thing, Lewis is a class act and I do like him when he's not talking about a race he's just driven.
f1 drivers are a different breed, he was already crying and he WENT BACK for seconds on the sauce. incredible

Honestly one of the most humble and genuine interviews I’ve seen especially on this show. Can just tell he gives everything his all and the full send was real. GOAT behaviour!
Absolutly! He is always such a gentleman.
❤❤❤❤
Huge thanks to Sean for having Lewis. I've been waiting for this one for ages
I guess now we know it isn't that they don't want to bring certain people to the show but they declining the invitation instead.
@@GG_AJfan :(
Its so nice to hear him talk off track, not being on duty. He is a great conversationalist!
the love and passion as he talks about corners is mesmerizing, tremendous competitor, amazing man

Lewis: "Good boy, well done!"

Never worry who's behind. GOAT.
"The Perfect Lap" is always in front of u
The car was the GOAT. The driver had been right time right place. F1 isn't equal playing field racing. Quite the opposite, I thought he retired, then again I don't look at the second half of the time sheet
You mean him? Lewis is behind Russell on the points and way off even challenging Max. Lewis has only been good when the car was good.
Never worry about whos behind cuz there's nobody there other than the alpines, sauvers and williams
@@rumblefish9We just gonna ignore that he demolished Russell last season and was the highest scoring driver behind Red Bull?
Man went BACK to da-bomb, even Sean was like “this is a mistake” 😂
LEGEND.
He just seems like such a nice guy and he handled the wings so well, wow. And what makes it even better is that he didn't show up here to promote anything, he just wanted to do it. This was just great to watch all around, hopefully he comes back in a few seasons once the sauces change up a bit.
19:56 "This one's getting harder, DO WE GO IN AGAIN?"
I love this guy😂
His so competitive
Lewis Hamilton is one such lovable person
Bro's got that adrenaline pumpin'
This man is a spice GOD, like how tf?! He's crazy 💀
I don’t hate him as a person, I hate how successful he was for so long. Dude is a class act
As time went on I realized my problem wasn’t with Lewis, it was with Toto Wolff and the conflicts of interest and political pandering he represents within the sport

Lots of people hate him without even watch one single interview. One wonders why some people judge without knowing the person.

Haven’t got enough kind words to say about Hamilton, I know a lot of people knock him, but he couldn’t have been nicer when I met him, I also did some work with Children’s charities, 1 of which he was doing regular work with & he was so gracious & warm to the Children it really spoke volumes about him!
Great to see him here & smashing it!
It's like he said at the beginning about not trusting someone who's not kind to animals. He has a kind soul.
You can tell he actually watches and enjoys the show. Everyone knows da bomb is the real final boss so he went back for seconds like a crazy person
bro what, ive been watching hot ones since day one NO one came back for an extra bite of da bomb with a dab of the sauce... this is why he is legendary
why did they have to remove the plastic from the bottle for a second time?
did he stop one time and came back to finnish it?
@@Tosti3 the wings are seasoned beforehand and the bottles are just for the show, so there was no "second time".
The first one they "dabbed" was the last sauce, not the bomb.
I cant believe more people arent talking about that...
And I don't think anyone has put on more at the last dab... Insane
FACTS!!
I actually don't know the F1 drivers as drivers, I got familiar with them outside of their races. I just love how Lewis is so calm, professional, and polite! Makes me want to watch Cars again.
He'll be a real loss to the sport when he leaves and we're back to a mix of very talented drivers who came from driving dynasties and hopeless failsons and faildaughters running on Daddy's money.
this man did not experience lewis vs max war back in 21💀
Lewis down to earth and humble? You are hilariously mistaken😂
@@hesselkooistra On track people are way different than off track. Do you think Max is a hothead all the time? Max is just like lewis very down to earth and unintentionally funny at times when he is off the track. You dont always have to laugh with your colleagues/competition.
@@_theporkchopexpress Lewis Hamilton is very down to earth and humble, I've had the privilege of meeting him and he is a wonderful man. It's sad that salty haters like you can't comprehend that. 🤷♀
I am an avid motorsport fan, and I have watched Lewis being interviewed since 2005 and this is my favourite Lewis interview.
I knew he was a great guy but this really puts it into perspective, such an awesome person all around
🧢
Nah he has great interviews all the time
What I liked about this interview is you could see the entire racers mindset. At first he's confident, but as he progresses he sees the competitor is unfamiliar and strong. He keeps going and gets hit hard and starts to question whether or not he can finish. He makes his mind up he's not going to quit, and as soon as he gets to the finish line he realizes he can beat it and wants to go again.
That's exactly what I thought!!!!
Very well said. You articulated the competitive mindset far better than I could have.
Only thing I would change in your comment is “not going to quit” to “not going to die.”
I dare someone to say something bad about him he’s sooo genuine and humble
Happy to see Lewis reach a broader audience. World class athlete and human being.
And a 8* time world champion

I’m actually crying

A dog can express more with his tail in minutes than an owner can express with his tongue in hours.

Not just an F1 legend but Lewis should now be a Hot Ones Legend, in the history of this show has anyone ever gone back for more of Da Bomb?
people have cleaned the whole wing
Lewis is officially coming for that Hot Ones GOAT title too. On the Mount Rushmore of the show at least!
Yes. Not many but some. There was even somebody years ago that after the last wing, added some more last dab and da bomb to it for another bite.
"Smoke dis fool" - A young lewis hamilton. 😂😂
Idk how to describe Lewis Hamilton other than classy, elegant, and refined. I guess im so used to athletes being so aggressive and egoistic but didnt expect that an F1 driver to be this humble and charming. Wow! Also he’s so handsome! What a fine man!
Refined is really accurate here - because he IS a world class athlete so you know its a matter of fact he has an ego, but unlike some others he has a healthy relationship with his ego and doesnt let it dominate outside of competition (and not letting spice beat him by going full send at the end)
And he's also one of the best to ever do it in the sport. Most F1 drivers are pretty humble though.
He’s definitely a class act
Sir Lewis Hamilton
Its very clear you dont follow F1 if you think he's not an egotist. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
the faint “oh my god” from the producers in the back when he picks up dabomb again sent me 😭
