    I've been using blender for over 10 years and use it professionally, but when I started you were one for the first blender channels that really did a great job of explaining not only how to model, but also translating the elemental environment interactions, especially where the light and shading was concerned (pre Cycles) and how to create the most realistic texturing and material setup. As always an awesome demonstration and very well explained. Keep cracking on!

    Great to see more geometry nodes content!
    The difference on the Object Info node between original and relative is whether the mesh gets the "original" position based on how it exists within its own object, or the "relative" position that takes into account the current and linked object's transforms. More often than not we want Relative like here 👌

    Hey bro, thank you much for creating this channel. I had an urgent 3D project to be delivered and I haven't touched "3D" since 6-7 years long back from Max Maya days. No one was available to do it so I had to do it anyhow within 2 days and your videos helped me a lot to do it. I am now picking 3D back up with blender and wish to create amazing stuff. You are really a boon (I hope I used it correctly) to all of the learners, please keep up the good work! Your voice is also so Apt for this plus you give off the cool fun teacher vibes! I wish I could actually learn from you. God speed to your career and may God always provide for you and your family. Thank you once again.

  • @mainecoon6122
    @mainecoon6122 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Great stuff, u can save time by distributing a certain amount of points with the points node. Use a Random Value node (set to vector) to determine the bounds, next you can order the points with a Voronoi texture with the randomness set to 0, then add a merge by distance to delete the double points.

  • @Kram1032
    @Kram1032 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    very easy improvement: Use the bounding box mode to figure out a basic volume of pixels for your shape. Like, set the XYZ scale based on a bounding box. That way you are generating more points where they are needed / not generating points where they aren't needed only to delete them later.
    I'd probably also use volume emitters rather than mesh surface emitters, though you need to go far brighter to make that properly work. Volume emitters are pretty dim normally

    Okay, first off, I really like how You explain all the stuff You do, great content. Secondly, I am not using Blender. I'm using Maya and now learning Houdini. Last but not least: WTF? Seriously I am really fascinated how much stuff can be done now with Blender. It feels unreal that it's an open source software. Now I start to understand why it is called Blender... just seeing all the possibilities for Maya getting mixed (BLENDED) with the node based proceduralism of Houdini. (I do not know whether is it new in Blender or not, it's new for me. :D ) I feel that Autodesk is really living from its name and its position in the industry. I love Maya, I really do, but I do not see the the same, thoughtful development curve as for Houdini and Blender. The only thing is miss here is the nice interface and quick menues that make the workflow much easier and faster in Maya...
    Anyways, great content, You actually are making me want to learn Blender as well.
    Cheers from Hungary!
