Divider was probably the cruelest deathblow in the whole game. I can't help but think that it is very much like the laser room in the first resident evil movie, and how the last guy was cut into chunks. Emeralda does pretty much the same thing to enemies with this deathblow.

And in 1:30, it seems Billy yells "here" or "yeah", I could barely hear. But in JP ver, he yells "Atare". Billy's "Holy Gate" was called "Heaven's Gate" in JP ver. And, I noticed in 3:35 that Emeralda only spins ONCE. In JP ver, she spins TWICE.
Ahhh Billy, the original gunslinger youngster who's also like a Swiss Army knife when it came to firearms. :3 Emeraldas... powerful loli is powerful and even more so when she becomes an adult! o.o Renmazuo and Crescens were cool gears too. I wonder if showing us the Gears' Deathblows and Inifinity DBs will be a challenge for ya. ;P
actually I admire Emeralda's voice. I mean, wow, it's so sharp.. it sounds like a chainsaw. japanese voice actresses surely give a lot of emotions in their acting. I just can't do that. and if I try I'll probably damage my vocal cord. :D btw, the US version only dubbed the voices in FMV. the battle voices are still japanese.

This factor renders the ubdub of this game useless! booyah is required. also pretty sure the "yeah!" billy voice is not in japan vers. although gotta love the slight variations and pitch change per deathblow.
I always felt like these two characters stick out to me as a kind of inspiration for Haken and Aschen in Super Robot Taisen...Endless Frontier. Granted, it has more to do with them being introduced into the game much later than others, but them being both in the same video reminded me of this.

Now since they have lost their creative team, and Sakaguchi there's only One game developer keep Squeenix afloat. Tetsuya Nomura, and he's taking forever on FF Versus XIII.

Not being overly feminist or anything, but man is it cool when at least one of the girls in the group of heroes is as cool and badass as (or even more than) the other heroes, and Emeralda does that while being an adorable little kid (with a pretty cool gear, to boot). THEN you learn you can turn her into an adult with that hidden side-quest, turning her into a hottie and making her attacks TWICE as badass!
Id have to agree with u on that,theyve made it too high tech.and constant changes to the fighting system which pisses me off too,I dont like turn based so i dont mind the move away from that,but at least keep to the one that works,Xenogears is an excellent example.
The same thing that happened with Hollywood. They put more focus on making money rather than pleasing the fans. It's as if all mediums in the entertainment industry are trying to reeducate the fans to accept mediocrity so that they don't have to put forth the extra effort to telling great stories. If you ask me, they should be hiring independent authors as their writers. At least independent authors can tell great stories.

I love Esmeralda, cute as a child, and is turning into a hottie as a teen. While as a child she can't do jack as damage, my first thing after getting to the map in Disk 2 is to get her to an adult for ASAP so if I can use her as a real powerhouse during my time to get all Deathblows.
