The noise never was cool- it’s just that your vision of power and strength has changed as you’ve aged.

This guy has the testosterone level of a 16 year old girl. Loud bikes are fun.

Immature and outdated. Just a dumb teenager in high-school thinks it's cool or necessary.

Lol. What a freakin bunch of nonsense. Ride what you want, boys and girls, and don’t let any karens tell you what is cool or not.

No, bikes still sound good. Electric is lame. Nothing like putting your foot to the floor on a tesla and hearing the roar of a microwave 😂, I don't give a rip how much power they make.

I've been riding bikes for over 4 decades and I wholeheartedly agree that loud pipes are obnoxious and annoying. Even so, it's quite obvious that people hear me LONG before they see me, and stock pipes don't offer anywhere near that level of protection. It's embarrassing to ride around with loud pipes, but I can't see putting stock pipes back on unless I suddenly develop a death wish.
For the most part, I'm quite meticulous about keeping the throttle at a decent level, but when I see someone about to turn in front of me and they don't make eye contact, I always give the throttle a little twist.
I've also noticed that some people hate loud pipes so much that they have no problem swerving into a bike. So in those rare cases, it's a problem.

I used to ride a Honda shadow, then I moved to a 600 RR sport bike. Loud Pipes save lives as they say on the bumper stickers! 😅
The real matter at hand is the ability of the rider to navigate through traffic without pissing off all these citizens who are so angry at the situation that they are currently living in outside of nature without means. I mean, I just came back to Durham, North Carolina and to get a small shitty house. It’s like $1700 a month. You wonder why there are there such a divide in our country - the system is extremely broken, damaged beyond repair and it might’ve always been It’s just now that we’re all talking and aware We notice it.

@@FacesintheStoneDon't get me started on another one of my rants; too late. It is particularly aggravating for someone underwater in their mortgage, making payments on their flashy red corvette sitting in a glorified four lane parking lot as some kid making minimum wage comes flying by on a bike worth less than a car payment. I had a guy in a red corvette try to block me from splitting lanes (legal in CA.) in rush hour traffic. I simply got over two lanes and passed only to discover him flying up on my ass 10 miles later intent on running me off the road.
At some point, people will stop thinking that it takes $50.00 or $100.00 to buy a big mac, and see that the currency is worthless. When that happens you will see c notes fluttering in the wind along streets running with blood.
The system was destined to fail from the beginning. It's a scam that could only be perpetrated with an uneducated population which was and continues to be the case with fractional reserve banking and fiat currencies.
The first bankers were blacksmiths who would store gold and issue receipts which people began to use as currency. Once people realized that some of these blacksmiths were issuing receipts without any gold to back it up, they would rush in to get their gold back. Those who didn't get their gold back would tar and feather the blacksmiths and run them out of town on a railroad tie.
Today, there is no pretense that the currency is backed by anything. The government openly commits fraud to a populace that is blissfully ignorant and bereft of even the most rudimentary critical thinking skills. This is not by accident. FDR openly admitted this and numerous Presidents have alluded to the fact that the whole system is being run by people who were never elected. As long as people have their latest bit of techno-bordom and a steady supply of high fructose, transfat-infused star-spangled ding dongs, they're happy.

Not a fan of loud bikes but engine noise is still cool and motorcycles are always cooler and faster than EV cars 🤷‍♂️ just not Harley’s, those aren’t cool.
