If electric bikes can give me the range as an ICE and can recharge as fast as I can fill up a gas tank then I am all in. Until then, I will stick to ICE bikes and stock pipes. No need for loud aftermarket pipes. Obnoxious and annoyingly loud pipes can actually cause an accident rather than "So they hears me and not hit me" prevent it approach. Pipes that change the sound but do not elevate the intensity are fine. Ever see a driver get spooked and swerve when a crazy loud bike goes by or cracks the throttle? With all the directions a rider can get hit from, rear end and left turning cars make up the worst and loud pipes offer nothing to prevent a hit. Driver distraction with a cell phone trumps all of it. Defensive and responsible riding is what really works to keep bike rubber on pavement.

As long as are not caught in fire ...or locked doors without manual backup ....or the charge is not that long hybrids better ....way too many cons ...diesel hybrids why nor? ?

I've been riding bikes for over 4 decades and I wholeheartedly agree that loud pipes are obnoxious and annoying. Even so, it's quite obvious that people hear me LONG before they see me, and stock pipes don't offer anywhere near that level of protection. It's embarrassing to ride around with loud pipes, but I can't see putting stock pipes back on unless I suddenly develop a death wish. For the most part, I'm quite meticulous about keeping the throttle at a decent level, but when I see someone about to turn in front of me and they don't make eye contact, I always give the throttle a little twist. I've also noticed that some people hate loud pipes so much that they have no problem swerving into a bike. So in those rare cases, it's a problem.

Why do people think that's bad...if we have robots work in warehouses then humans can focus on things that are more.........ingenuic...that's a word now, but, humans focus on more diverse things, like houses, clothing designs, anything that we can customize, humans would do. Rewriting code for robots every single time we need to build a house or something would take like an extra week, we could have the frame done by then.
