I like when he gives them the start and then blows right by them. Giving them a little bit of hope then hurting their feelings. Need a real drag strip for these races though, something with lots of rubber in the box or at least some treatment. The GTR would be the only one even remotely close I think.
Corvette did well getting of the line without frying the tyres with 900hp. They are so lite in the arse end it's hard to get traction.

can't wait to pull my 82 C-3 455 Twin supercharger out. motor and trans done now the rear end and frame reinforcement is being done. afa cost, i'm only about 15 grand in so far doing about 75 to 85% of the labor myself. dyno results, 1183 hp....took the motor from a 1976 225 Electra that had 69,000 original miles. will be posting a video in about a month from now. custom plate gonna say, ( HELLS HOUND ). i'm building this one for you Dodge Charger and Challenger fans...."Chevy on top baby!!!

I have owned many C3 corvettes. Your problem is that your differential is a light duty aluminum unit, good for 2 to 300 hp max. The early C3 's have a heavy duty cast iron unit capable of holding 5 to 600 hp.
When/if your c3 is stock it has very very little horsepower, not made to make a lot, try getting some earlier c3 parts that can handle more power (68-72)

@@RDAUGIRD The Viper. Case and point. It doesn't have any aids, and it has 700hp. It was designed to handle all that power. It's still renowned for it's drivers spinning them because of a lack of ABS/ TC in the early models.
I have a C3 with a leaf spring in the back, no ABS or traction control, and it's not scary. But then it does not have 900 H.P. Of course, it CAN get away from you if you don't respect it.
