I’ve had my 1969L 71 Corvette for 55 years. In my humble opinion, these are still one of the best looking cars ever produced. Mine is still fairly original with the 32 barrel holly carburetors, 427 in.² inch and 435 hp Motors bumped up to around 520. It truly is old-school and even at 77 years old, it’s still the most fun car to drive that I’ve ever owned and that’s why I’ve kept it all these years.
I know im asking randomly but does someone know a method to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly lost the login password. I would love any help you can give me!
That was some of the very best bad driving you will ever see! Looks like it was an absolute blast; thanks for posting it! It's nice to see US vintage drivers actually drive at 100% (or more...)!
Watching this makes me wonder whatever happened to my 72 Corvette that I ran in IMSA Camel GT series in GTO & later SCCA in the '70's. It was a coupe with Plymouth Barracuda taillights. Last I saw it, it was painted Sunoco blue.
Wow! Incredible driving... Big thanks to SVRA and both Scott and Jody for taking us along in their awesome Corvettes! SVRA is a fantastic venue with something for everyone, and these are not just show cars being paraded, rather some serious driving of historic race cars for everyone to enjoy. No disappointments here!
How this video hasn't got over a million views, I have no idea?! Fabulous racing, I totally felt as though I was in the car behind the wheel. Brilliant stuff!
if you dont mind me asking, why are they taking such bizarre racing lines? is it low driver experience with older cars? is the car just that brutal to handle? and how is everyone falling behind so much? i mean there is a srt10 on the grid and sure it might be heavier but it should easily be able to catch up on straights and id assume it has some driving assists to avoid traction issues which would help with taking proper lines.... i mean dont get me wrong i love it but it seems odd
The "modern vintage" tires are quite good. A ton of cars (including my car and many group 6 cars, and I know the black Vette does for sure) use Hoosier T/Ds, which are a modern version of the old style tires. They don't grip like slicks, but allow the car to slide and still have a lot of grip, if that makes sense. TL;DR: they use modern versions of the old style that allows them to drive them the same but more grip
@@masonhoeper9347 What tire sizes are these guys running on group 6 C3's? I'm assuming 15x8 and 15x10 wheels. I'm setting up a group 6, C3 ZL1 tribute car for the street. this is the look I'm shooting for.

I enjoyed watching this more than I have enjoyed watching any nascar event in the last 20 years, these boys can drive!
I love watching C3s race. All the high drift angles. You have to drive a C3 like a man. They're a handful but fast!

@Matthias Nickolas instablaster ;)
Just raw, no anti anything enhancements. Early C3s in front the rest pack including C4s falling back
I keep coming back to watch this video. Such a great battle and the sound look and feel to it. I can smell the hot rubber and burned gasoline.
Big block Corvette race cars, 2 crazy dudes = gear head heaven :)
RAW, LOUD Old School Racing gotta love it
Amazing battle. Onboard cameras in '60-'70s touring cars just do it for me.
I was smiling the whole time watching.
Awesome, both drivers.
It seemed like the black car was having some brake issues. that class of racing has some beautiful cars.

When you see a C3s rear end sliding through corners you know it’s all out racing! Excellent video. Thanks phor sharing!
That was a heck of a battle right there both drivers were pushing it to the max

that looked like BIG FUN! awesome
one of the best racing videos i have seen in a long time
That was fun to watch. Thanks for sharing!
Love watching this class race, c3 are plentiful and they are not bashful when it comes to doing a little rubbing. Definitely not a parade lap race lol
The C3s, especially the early ones are absolutely beautiful no matter what you do to them🇺🇸👍
C3’s rule🏁🏆
best video in yioutube I've seen in years..I LOVE IT RED VS BLACK!!!!!

The correct title should have been Cole Trickle vs The Bandit for a $10,000,000 purse because these two guys left it all on the track!!
Looks like FUN! 😎 Where is this track please?
Most adrenaline filled race I've ever seen. Amazing
Beautiful racing!
Excellent editing AND excellent racing...loved every second.
Awesome footage. Saw these guys running at IMS. Gotta love some SVRA!!!
All electric just won’t be the same!
Man that was a straight up brawl for the lead!
That was epic. Thanks for making my day.
Great racing back and fourth
That’s an epic race, really slugging it out. No quarter asked, no quarter given.
Where is this and how do I get started in this type of racing?
Great race, fair fight, bravo, two beautiful Corvette's 😍
I would love to slap some Pirelli P Zeros on my C7 ZO6 and get some!
They make 5k rpm look like 3k. Awesome engines!
Wow! What are these cars using for brakes!?
Wow, amazing,I have got to put my corvette back together.☺☺
Insane, Awesome, Exciting Footage! Loved every second of this race! I would love to race these cars myself. Gonna get one soon.
@@ueberlicht_ Nope, just a Hellcat Redeye Charger and two R/T Chargers. Still waiting on something called a Currency Redemption. ( Funds )
@@BlessedMe11 I'm gonna get one in the incoming year hopefully I just love the C3's design
Great racing,,,, no spectators??? WHY NOT
This makes me want a C3
TY👍
Great editing Ben!
Very Good race between these two.
Nice battle! Great cars! Heard of track limits?
this is _incredible_
...they look great with the big flares/tires.
looks like funny cars to drive ,:D

Sounds so gooood 🤩
Fuck yeah
Is Scott running an LS7 or LSX and what displacement? That thing is spinning up past 7,000.
Jody's car must have 60-70 more hp given he is putting 150 yards on the red car on the straights. Awesome cars and effort from both though.
Would love to see these cars on modern race wheels and rubber just to see how much wheel/tire tech has evolved and improved cars track performance.

@@ST-gp8jh Hope you found your answer, but yes 15x10s in the rear. You'll need fender flares and a notched trailing arm to fit them.
wowzers
That was some of the best sounding chevy ive ever heard .Great drivers too
Thats racin porn
11:47 ! Awesome !!
Balls deep in to the corners🤣
great race!
Racing line, what racing line?
It’s crazy those are the two fastest cars out there by far.
Nice job Scott you are an amazing driver you beat them bunch it go fast
wow,love it
Great Race!
Oh, look. @5:20 There's other cars in this race.
Race #69... That's Alice. I heard a rumor they had an engine problem... Watch out for that car, Dave K is coming...
AWESOME!!
iam surprised that viper was not more in the front
The black car don't seem to run a smooth race line...
I wanna be a race car driver, but I think I’m still too poor.
They need ABS
Bare knuckle brawl rite thea !
Jody 👏👏👏
The track goes that-a-way! Eh? Close enough....
Those are real races with real vehicles with real engines, that is if the pilot is racing if he is a pilot.
#46 Making some questionable moves. I'd be nervous to race that guy.
UPLOAD GROUP 9
blk has has more speed/power....the other driver is better..had to rewind, Scott is better driver
That was a dogfight
