Great demo. Hawaiian sweet bread is not the same as Portuguese sweet bread. Used to have a Portuguese bakery within driving distance, they had the most fluffy, tender bread like no others I have tried to make or try. I will be trying yours. I would loved to have seen you pull or slice your loaf.❤️
My mother too did the same no Recipes. But Girl I am so darn Proud of You. I'm not that talented 😔. I have tried but 🥺. I would like to make One loaf just One. I would like to try your Recipe. Thank You Take Care Stay Safe 🙂
Looks so much easier than other recipes I found. Is there a way I can get the written recipe. Would love to try and make this. Was surprised you brushed milk on the tops instead of an egg wash. Any particular reason for that?
There a lot more info. on handling high hydration (sticky) dough now. Used a recipe from a community cook book a while back It made THREE Pullman loaves, man was that a sticky mess, I was going nuts, got through it though.
I was wondering if someone could help me out, I tried making this bread three times and every time when I rise them in the cake pans they don’t rise to the top, can someone give info what I’m doing wrong?
Not rising enough: 1. Give it more time (high egg content makes it rise slower) 2. Make sure you're rising in a warm location (some use a heating pad below the bowl set to level 2 - 3) 3. Make sure your yeast is not expired and that you're not using too hot of water when making the yeast 'sponge' good luck!
Would you consider adding recipe to the description section? Thank you so much for sharing.
Beautiful Massa thank you❤❤❤❤❤

You could lightly grease the plastic wraps to prevent them from sticking

How would I get this recipe completely so I could follow written
You could use oil on your hands so the maça don't stick on your fingers
Hi, great video, 6 cups flour does not equal 900 grams, 7-1-2 cups does
You can see in the video. 6 cups of flour is 915 grams. I guess it depends on your type of flour and its density.
Mmmmm 😋
Can you make it with milk?
👍🌷
Wher do you have the recipe?
Brush them with milk & butter.

I use my seed starting mats to help bread rise during colder days.
