He was a very impatient person, and he was impatient with his own technique. He didn’t have a great technical ability on the guitar. But he had it all in his head. You could feel this stuff bursting to get out.”

There were three reasons why this set by Queen was the most successful at Live Aid. First, they had rehearsed for weeks before, nailing down the songs and timing for the twenty minute set. Most other bands in the show didn't even bother to rehearse. Second, Queen was used to playing in massive stadiums and have been quoted as saying they felt more comfortable the bigger the crowd. Third, they had Freddie Mercury, the best front man in rock history, who loved to play with the crowd and make them feel part of the show.

We have bands like rush, the beatles, Rolling Stones who are just in a league of their own. Not hating on queen cause they are incredible. Just not the best

    This thing called love
    I just can't handle it
    This thing called love
I must get 'round to it
    I ain't ready
    Crazy little thing called love
This thing (this thing) called love (called love)
It cries (like a baby), in a cradle all night
It swings (woo), it jives (woo)
Shakes all over like a jellyfish
    I kinda like it
    Crazy little thing called love
    There goes my baby
She knows how to rock and roll
    She drives me crazy
She gives me hot and cold fever
She leaves me in a cool, cool sweat
    I gotta be cool, relax
Get hip and get on my tracks
    Take a back seat, hitchhike
And take a long ride on my motorbike
    Until I'm ready
    Crazy little thing called love
    Yeah
    I gotta be cool, relax
Get hip and get on my tracks
    Take a back seat, hitchhike
And take a long ride on my motorbike
    Until I'm ready (ready Freddie)
    Crazy little thing called love
    This thing called love
    I just can't handle it
    This thing called love
I must get 'round to it
    I ain't ready
    Crazy little thing called love
