I was born on 95. But i promise you dear. They talking it a lot since 70s and more.. I really love QUEEN since I remember to listen Music from these LEGENDS
The Gospel harmonies of this track and prayer like lyrics are awesome !! Rogers range is amazing and Johns bass line is brilliant . Freddie is on another level.
Most people love Bohemian Rhapsody but this right here is my favorite. These men harmonize so well. This man has a beautiful voice. The main thing I've always loved about Queen is their dramatic points in their songs. One of the best bands of all time and my favorite.
Since you love it so much you truly need to see this performance: th-cam.com/video/IK21FopIWTs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Cd_X0JrIckMXDPNR Waylon together with the Dutch Metropole Orkest en het ZO! Gospel Choir together with Queen projected on a big screen. Even Brian May shared the performance on his own social media.
This is also my favorite Queen song. It's upbeat, but if you listen to the lyrics, there was probably a void in Freddie Mercury's life. He probably never found that special person.
Also Rodger Taylor on the drums. He really knows how to support the rhythm so well. There's lots of nuance to how he plays, and it just brings a lot of energy to the music
What is it about Queen's music that has such a fucking truth to it. It's such a simple lyric; *Each morning I get up, I die a little. I can barely stand on my feet. Take a look in the mirror and cry.* and yet its like he's singing for all of us. Maybe its his voice or just how good the music is, but there's something about him that's kind of omnipresent and that's comforting in the worst of times.
Definitely! It's like he sings about himself but it just brings us closer to the song because we all feel the same way. He's just pure genius, he's just special in a way, and there's nothing in the world like it.
Not only a timeless Classic but an example of Opera Rock Epic Song. Mercury composed this outstanding masterpiece, so exciting and theatrical and May Guitar Is pure magic. What a band, i was Born that year 1976 when It was released..
Hearing Brian's guitar during the 20th Century Fox opening was kick ass --- then hearing this song --- I was literally jizzing in my undies and the fuckin' movie barely started 😍😍😍
Bought myself „ A Day at the Races“ in 1976 and never regretted it. I am still listening to the album today and it is my companion for more than 48 years now. Even today I am a huge fan of the Band and they created enough fantastic music to listen everyday 😎
I don't want to be one of those "I was born in the wrong generation" edge lords, but oh how I wish I was around to hear Freddie perform live. His voice is godly, and he sings from the soul.
Saw them in 1979 @ Ludwigsparkstadion in Saarbruken, Germany for 'Open Air '79'....best damn concert I ever saw...with Rory Gallagher, Alvin Lee & Ten Years After, Molly Hatchet, and a couple of warm-up bands....and believe it or not, 'The Commodores' were special guests and put on a great performance.
ur aunt is so lucky to have seen that epic live aid !!!! wish i was born that era !!!! falling in love with queen post the movie !!!!!!!! n freddie omg !!! what a legend !!
I have been blessed to have had the opportunity to attend a Piano Guys live concert last night!!! It was AMAZING!! Better than I could ever have imagined!! And Jon & Steven are GOATs on their respective instruments. I hesitate just to call their musicianship TALENT because clearly they have put much effort and time into mastering their instruments!! As a pianist myself, I know what it takes to master their instruments on the level they have achieved!!! It takes many hours and much effort to play as wonderful as I witnessed tonight!! It’s not just ‘talent’ that allows them to be GOATs!!! Thank you Jon, Steve, Al, Paul and the rest of the crew for sharing your music with those of us in Boston tonight!! The world is a better place with ur music in it!!! Can’t wait to see & hear you again when you return to Boston!
So happy to see all the new Queen fan's out there thanks to the movie I'm sure. I've not been to see it yet but I'm going this coming week. I can't wait!!! I remember loving them as a child. Coming from a religious family and being rather young, I wasn't allowed to listen to them or go to concert's but I used to sneak into my older brother's room when no be was home and jam to Queen, Kiss and ACDC. Even my brother had to keep his Albums hidden but being my favorite brother, he shared his hiding place with me. Some of the greatest times I had as a young teen were spent with my brother or hiding out in his room, jamming to his secret stash. Queen was my favorite though, I used to play Bohemian Rhapsody and We Will Rock You more than any other songs. All while looking out his bedroom window to make sure my parents didn't come home and catch me. The good ole days yeah...
Amy White that sounds like so much fun with your brother. I wish I had that kind of relationship with one of my brothers. I mean we are allowed to listen to whatever we want but still
Wow! It must’ve been so cool to have been a fan back in the hay day... my religious folks were actually the ones who introduced me and my bro to them and they’re just one of the all around best bands ever
...and Queen's best song @ that!!! This was in the top 20 of Billboard's U.S. singles chart exactly 40 years ago this week in 1977!!! How I miss hearing songs like this during my youth. I remember hearing songs like this on the old AM radio dial as an eleven year old in '77!!! They definitely don't write & record songs like this anymore, for sure!!! Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Lady Gaga & Katy Perry only wish they can write & sing songs this wonderful, which they can't!!! If only there could be more Queens, Bowies & Rod Stewarts in this day & age. Maybe such talented types will return to music again someday - who knows? Bravo, Freddie Mercury (R.I.P.), Brian May, John Deacon & Roger Taylor!!!
Queen, the band, will never die. Let's hope Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will do the same or at least until Prince Charles dies and Prince William becomes 1st in line for the throne.
I’m incredibly jealous. I’m an 80’s baby, so missed out on real music. I will admit that my parents played the shit outta bands such as Queen, Toto, Fleetwood Mac, AC/DC, INXS, Cannes Heat and so on, but listening to them on record would never compare to experiencing them first hand.
28 here, growing up the only song I heard of queen was "we will rock you" or "another one bites the dust'. Found who queen really was one night when I was feeling shit. Can confirm getting to know who freddie was and how powerful he was to everyone around him and who listened to him by simple being him, he changed the way I see and hear life. Legend, freddie mercury is the g.o.a.t
It makes me so happy that the movie Bohemian Rhapsody has brought so much attention to John Deacon and Roger Taylor! They were such talented members of Queen and deserve all of the love that is being sent their way by members of younger generations who didn't grow up knowing their names.
@@Dwi205 John even built his own amplifier, the "Deacy Amp". He was/is truly interested in electrical engineering. As soon as he brought his small amp to Queen rehearsals and recordings, the sound engineers and Brian immediately adopted it.
Queen was, is, and will be be a inspiration. The sound of Queen will never forget. It's music for ever. I'm joining Queen since about 1975 I guess. And I still understand why!!! Timeless! Great! Unique! Brilliant! Queen!
There's this part where they chant " somebody to love " & it's like you can feel it in your bones, muscles, arteries, cells. It's *ALMOST* spiritual bordering on sexual. A rush !
Buster Hyman I agree with you, Freddie and the rest of the boys had great musical talent, for instance, Bohemian Rhapsody, they fit in rock, opera, and so much more! And yet they pull it off. Amazing.
It’s heartwrenching how much Fred felt he wasn’t meant for this world. I think it’s a feeling we can all relate to at some point or another. If you’re reading this, keep searching for your people. I promise they’re out there and they’re going to be ecstatic to have you
@alfredoma5015 I am still searching for my people. All alone in life, it's very exhausting 😞 And losing my best bunny friend ever doesn't help. 😢☮️ 🌈😇 Thanks for your comment friend 💜
I was lucky enough to see them live countless times. Also met them on several occasions. All were wonderful individuals and extremely talented. I saw the movie and loved it.
"I just gotta get out of this prison cell... some day I´m gonna be free" - such an emotional line and a state of mind, which I am sure many of us are feeling from time to time through life.
John Deacon is one of the most underrated bassists ever! Mr Deacon, if you see this, many blessings to you in your retirement. We miss you and all you gave to the music industry.
Muy cierto, Deacon es parte del éxito de Queen y se le extraña en estos tiempos. Gracias Mr. Deacon, por la buena música que nos ha dejado a los Fans de Queen...
John's first hit that was written by him on an electric piano "You're My Best Friend". Simple song written beautifully, with the simple thought of how he feels for his best friend- his wife.
Right. Depends on mood too. I can't listen to "don't stop me now" while on the freeway.... i accelarate.... like an atom bomb, i'm gonna go go go, there's no stopping meeeee.....
22/7/2024 3:25 Am Facing hard time with studying, so I am here listening to Queen and trying to focus. Have a nice day all. Happy that there is still alot of people here.
Can we talk about how Roger's falsetto at 2:56 sounds exactly like Brian's guitar? Roger Taylor's voice is so fricking amazing, not enough people talk about it. He's an awesome drummer and songwriter as well, extremely underrated.
@@jsoverkill Marc has an astounding similarity, that doesn't mean that his voice is that flexible and versatile as Freddie's. The only person I can think of is Adam Lambert, who somehow has a bigger range with an almost equal amount (if not more in terms of vocals) of power! Both Mercury and Lambert are vocal powerhouses. Edit: I know there will be some haters of Adam. Please don't hate on him. He is just as talented. I wouldn't like to bash Marc but I just said that he is similar in terms of vocals but not as powerful.
i'm gonna cry when i hear this one in the movie. AND if i see a David Bowie cameo i'll drop down and star crying like a baby. EDIT: You guys don’t know how much I cried and enjoyed the movie. :’)
What an amazing person, just one day late! I’m pretty sure my life will be over and there still won’t be anyone else as good as a singer as Freddie! Rest In Peace forever.✌️ we love ya Freddie!

They would never make it today. Definitely not on a global scale. Perhaps as a novelty for selected (better educated) audiences. Their music and artistry is beyond most young people’s ability to appreciate. Besides, who would listen to a musical piece that is longer than 3,5 minutes ? (A maximum attention span of a modern teenager is below 2 minutes, unless it’s an interactive video game). We were born in different times (not so distant past, my goodness the time passes so quickly). We were LISTENING to music on a much deeper level than anything that came out on a mainstream since 1990s Nowadays there are still plenty of incredibly talented artists around who will never get anywhere with modern lack of promotion and over-saturated culture of mediocrity. R.I.P Freddie… Legends never die. They will live forever in our hearts and memories.

Simple and true are your words. Undoubtedly , Queen has been and still is the greatest rock band of all time, just like The Beatles and Led Zeppelin in my opinion of course. And Freedy the best performer in all history. That title is undisputed
Their music talks about a wide range of concepts. Not just about love. From having best friends, to your fave bike, to social issues, everything. It's what i like about this band.
Listening to this song non-stop two days to Freddie's 30th death anniversary. RIP Mercury. You still rule the airwaves. And Rodger is everything this masterpiece needed. His enthusiasm on the drums is something else, & his vocal range is sublime. Queen Forever

Most people love Bohemian Rhapsody but this right here is my favorite. These men harmonize so well. This man has a beautiful voice.
The main thing I've always loved about Queen is their dramatic points in their songs. One of the best bands of all time and my favorite.

Well said Shenita. That pretty much sums them up nicely.
Since you love it so much you truly need to see this performance:

Waylon together with the Dutch Metropole Orkest en het ZO! Gospel Choir together with Queen projected on a big screen.
Even Brian May shared the performance on his own social media.
@ShenitaDi Couldn't agree 👍💯% more❤ Queen is just Fab 👑 Rog's falsetto cleanses my soul ☮️💥
This is also my favorite Queen song. It's upbeat, but if you listen to the lyrics, there was probably a void in Freddie Mercury's life. He probably never found that special person.
Brian May is an underrated guitarist. His signature solos in so many Queen songs make them so much better.
Also Rodger Taylor on the drums. He really knows how to support the rhythm so well. There's lots of nuance to how he plays, and it just brings a lot of energy to the music
I KNOW RIGHT? that guy is amazing
don't forget john deacon
Wouldn’t say under rated lol, he’s consistently ranked in the top 10 of a lot of poles 🤟🥰

:).bbC.co Xxx v l.p. :) i
Definitely! It's like he sings about himself but it just brings us closer to the song because we all feel the same way. He's just pure genius, he's just special in a way, and there's nothing in the world like it.

Bought myself „ A Day at the Races“ in 1976 and never regretted it. I am still listening to the album today and it is my companion for more than 48 years now. Even today I am a huge fan of the Band and they created enough fantastic music to listen everyday 😎

I havent seen it either and i have been dying to see it
+Amy u are in for a treat!!! U will definitely love it! I'm excited for u - that's what the movie does to those who watched it! =)
Love this story
4 great musicians. One great song
...and Queen's best song @ that!!!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE! QUEEN IS LOVE..
what an amazing group, freddie your are great
It makes me so happy that the movie Bohemian Rhapsody has brought so much attention to John Deacon and Roger Taylor! They were such talented members of Queen and deserve all of the love that is being sent their way by members of younger generations who didn't grow up knowing their names.
just curious... who is Electrician ? and who is the Dentist ? between Roger and John
Dwi205
Roger is the 'dentist'. He has a biology degree. John has a degree in electrical engineering.
@@Dwi205 John even built his own amplifier, the "Deacy Amp". He was/is truly interested in electrical engineering. As soon as he brought his small amp to Queen rehearsals and recordings, the sound engineers and Brian immediately adopted it.
Sorry but "electrician" is not the same as "electrical engineering" --- please give Deaky the proper respect for his higher education
And that was the problem to little Freddy
Queen was, is, and will be be a inspiration. The sound of Queen will never forget. It's music for ever. I'm joining Queen since about 1975 I guess. And I still understand why!!! Timeless! Great! Unique! Brilliant! Queen!

Nobody can't sing like Freddie was singing with differents tones voice like that. He's the only one.
What about Marc Martel?
@@jsoverkill Marc has an astounding similarity, that doesn't mean that his voice is that flexible and versatile as Freddie's. This song is a freaking masterpiece. The vocals alone are outstanding. I sure miss them what a band.
We were LISTENING to music on a much deeper level than anything that came out on a mainstream since 1990s
Nowadays there are still plenty of incredibly talented artists around who will never get anywhere with modern lack of promotion and over-saturated culture of mediocrity.

Simple and true are your words. Undoubtedly , Queen has been and still is the greatest rock band of all time, just like The Beatles and Led Zeppelin in my opinion of course. And Freedy the best performer in all history. That title is undisputed
It's impossible to listen to a Queen song without singing along.
I got my 25 year old sister to listen to Queen.
And dancing! Some great song we love to sing and dance to, this one makes us want to perform it. Well, I say that about Fat Bottom Girls, too :)
Or to shed a tear because you’re feeling all the good feels of the song! 🥹❤
I swear, not even 5 seconds in and I'm already going full out
Love Queen 2019 and still listening to them!

Their music talks about a wide range of concepts. Not just about love. From having best friends, to your fave bike, to social issues, everything. It's what i like about this band.
Hi I recommend an indie song called 'the bond villain' By Robert Nix
Im In LoVe WiTh mY CaR
And cars (weird toddler car noises)
Even songs about being in love with your car
Spending time with cats would be okay.
How do people even press the dislike button? I can't even cause
1.Its queen

Morgie Bentley I totally agree. This song and studio recording is an absolute masterpiece!! 🎤🎧🎼🎸

5. Brian May
6. Roger Taylor
7. John Deacon

WHY THE FACK WOULD YOU DISLIKE
No it was just people who cry because of this masterpiece and accidently dislike it
i agree with that mercury was a good singer and may was a good player
Listening to this song non-stop two days to Freddie's 30th death anniversary. RIP Mercury. You still rule the airwaves.
And Rodger is everything this masterpiece needed. His enthusiasm on the drums is something else, & his vocal range is sublime. Queen Forever
Me too, but 4 and after
And brian's brilliant solo in literally every single song
Not to be this person but it’s *Roger*
Love Roger on the live in Montreal version... So good
@@cmoeller3 had to rewatch it, and yes, he's effin good
