But when you do take a look at how much time he/she had spent just to beat it, it was 4 hours, so at least appreciate something you'd probably never do yourself. Nice job, I tried to do something similar with save states but I just didn't have the patience for it. I hated this Troll Chaos, it didn't actually prove that the player wasn't a master just that the player didn't have the stats and equipment necessary to have an actual chance of winning.

LOL Dark Souls is child play compare to this, this fight can take hours (name 1 Soul boss that last more than 10-15 minutes at worst) and 1 mistake means game over and you have to restart a new game to actually retry. So please get your Dark Souls into the kid room XD

emulation isnt a cheat, it runs exactly as the console intended, quicksaves arent cheats either, its a tool. real cheats are godmode, maxing level out, onehit kills, etc..
Its an exploit, not a cheat. The dev's didn't think about players doing that. And the dev's that think players will exploit the system in the game, then they would make it where you cannot save or pause during the fights.
You didn't cheat except for massively cheat... getting to redo a move that killed you.... that's like massively cheating... that's like dying in real life but then getting to come back after somebody kills you... yeah

I mean I guess potion or some achievement will suffice, getting any actual good equipment just wouldn't be fair and especially not how the game developers designed it. I mean I guess they could put some something, even a trophy or something but it kinda proves my point that nobody can beat Chaos this early on, legitimately. It can only be done by an emulator, which clearly the developers didn't think about but even if they were aware that people can hack or whatever, they probably wouldn't encourage cheating so they just have the Moogle scoff at the player and say "Don't get overconfident."
