Got this set up with mostly no issues. Some tips: 1. When you're installing the top console be careful of the wire. If you look through the screw hole you'll be able to see if it's going to be compressed or not when you screw the screw in. Find something thing like a headphone jack and poke it out the way before you install the screw. I only screwed mine in about half way as it felt secure and minimised the risk of damaging the wire. In addition to this make sure the wires are sitting inside of the metal sleeve things before putting it in place - otherwise you might cut the wire. 2. The stop block is very tough to undo not only because its stiff but because you don't have much hand space to grip the handle. To get around this I lifted up the back of the treadmill with a yoga block so you have more of an angle for your hand. Wearing a workmans glove helped me unscrew it too
I just bought this took me about 40 mins ON MY OWN to assemble this and I’m a 21 year old female it’s not heavy at all it has wheels and for someone who’s not good with DIY this was very straight forward to put together
YES - IT IS HEAVY. You must have lifted the end and dragged the thing out of the box, just like in the video, so no saying it isn't heavy, please, it's 75kg unboxed - H E A V Y !!!!
Not heavy?! Are you joking! I'm pretty good at most things..but this is heavy!! Took two men to bring it in, who were sweating after. I inched it out of the box. Apart from that it was relatively simple to put together. Took me about an hour and most of that time was taken up getting it out the box!!
Great tip! "Be careful not to pinch the wiring". There is no way to check that once you put it inside and tighten the screw. Unless you have x-ray vision.
Finally installed this. This is differently a 2 person job and this was heavy. I had to ask my brother to move it in place and he himself found it difficult. 2 people had to move it. I have no ideal how that lady was able to pick it up and move it. Also, the folding is great as well. Doesn't take much space up. AUX works great, was able to hear my songs clear, though clearly this function won't work with the later Apple phones as my sister in law found out. All I have to say, this is heavy, good luck to anyone who wants to move this upstairs.
She isn't picking it up! Crikey, what's wrong with everyone - she lifted the end and dragged it out of the box on wheels. She's not Superwoman, and anyone who does lift the whole thing on their own is guaranteed hernia surgery!
That red safety pin was very easy to take out fortunately as have read it’s very difficult. On a side note, I’d have to stay on this treadmill 24 hours a day for a year to look as good as her.
Thank you for the excellent video 😊 The Lord’s love + grace be with you Hope you are all well and resting in Jesus saving love + grace 😊 Blessings friends 😊
Just assembled my new GT40z…. 1) Does the belt need to be oiled before first use or does it come pre-oiled? 2). Also, the treadmill belt is lumped up a bit on one side (it’s not flat on the tread deck) like it needs to be tightened or (hopefully not!) it’s stretched on one side…. Does it just need to be tightened? Thanks!
Hi there, The treadmill should come pre-oiled and be ready to use once assembled. For the 2nd issue, could you please use the link here www.reebokfitness.info/contact-us to our contact page, where our team can reach out and help you further with this question? Thanks, RFE
There is no way you can lift it on your own the way she does at 0:42. It weighs 75 kgs and you will put your back out. I once had to lift a body in a black bag weighing 65 kgs and that was hard enough. Though I didn't have to dig a hollow grave for the GF4OS!
Without the console and other loose bits it actually weighs a few kg less than 75kg. And she's pivoting it on the wheels so that reduces the weight she is lifting considerably. I've just assembled mine - I'm what is politely called a "senior citizen", I am very overweight and unfit , and I had no problem lifting it.
But she didn't lift it did she? She lifted one end and pulled it out on wheels. I've done that with a 75kg Reebok and I'm 73 years of age - goodness, it's not a dead body, it's gym equipment, with wheels one end. No way a normal person could lift the whole darned thing!
I got mine this morning, disappointing start, each step you put machine slows down its speed, technician who installed said need to install amplifier to give load, later when its installed still faces same issue. We were really excited about this but disappointed
@@mentalmelon8409 I finally got proper set of KEYS it's hard to get there. There was so much dust in there, you need to clean it up every few months I would say.As well as under the belt clean with silicone spray I do it every 4 weeks.
@@alanos8930 My last Reebok was faulty and returned for refund. I'm hoping that this GT40 is going to be good, and work for longer than two days! Thanks for the tip. Good luck.
@@mentalmelon8409 No problem. I have it about 4years it's going well apart there was strange smell from the motor, but since I cleaned it it's kind of less. Just remember to SERVICE it and it should be fine good luck👍
Hi everyone idnt know what’s wrong with my treadmill while working it stopped working and the screen have electric but can’t see any writing on it it just make sound and nothing else working it new I hardly used it don’t know what to do hope some one help
Are you certain it has an air vent? They don't all have air vents, just like they don't all have Bluetooth. Check what you bought before you do any hitting of anything!
I agree - it's bloody stupid! I cannot get it out right now! I think I need someone to lift the thing up in order I can access it properly. It's heavier than indicated in this video too!!!!
I just got mine, been using it a couple days. If you compare this to a commercial treadmill, then I'll give it a 7/10. But for myself as a home treadmill, i'll give it 8/10, I really love it. Few things, the speakers could have been placed somewhere else, seems like sweat or water could get on them and the speaker jack too. There is no fan (which i didn't want anyway). When you fold it up, doesn't really save that much space, I'll just leave it down. It's about as noisy as a washing machine, when at high speeds, when it's slow it's quiet. It's difficult to move, even when folded., might need 2 people unless you're very strong. Make sure you have enough space. No space for a tablet. Some good points, at 5'10 it's plenty big for me. It's built very well, feels very nice solid and sturdy, more than how it looks on youtube. I wanted to get a bigger one initially, but I'm very pleased with this size, probably wouldn't swap it if given the choice. It's plenty fast for me, so wouldn't really need the top speeds. I think most people will be pleased. I'm delighted with it. Got argos monthly care with it which is quite cheap. This is my initial thoughts so maybe I'll update, or if you have questions I'll reply.
After looking at the Jet 100, I think the Jet is better. The displays/buttons seem better, better bottle holder, place to put phone/table. Although looks more difficult to set up. Guess it's a preference thing as they are the same price and similar size/weight.

I did it myself and I'm weak. Moving in position is a bit difficult but manageable if you move bit by bit. The rest is easy

That's the speakers.
That cable which connects the console to the base is a really bad design choice.
Snapped in half by the metal and doesn't even work.
The safety pin is absolutely ridiculous, it's unbelievable how tight its screwed in.
Video is obviously for advertising purposes
