probably one of the best instructions for oiling the belt ... I managed to mess my one up by losing count of how many turns I did .... after oiling should the belt lay completely flat on the surface ? As I think I over tightened and maybe the oil is drying up faster due to the edges being raised ..... now I can't get it to stay centered and the belt sways to the left .... any tips or can u guide me to any links etc?
The best thing to do is loose the tension screws up a bit a time. While the belt is running. You will see when it’s too lack, look for the belt moving side to side or at a slow speed just below a normal walking pace, then walk on the belt and if you feel it slipping or moving then that’s a good sign it’s too lack. Then tighten then tension bolt back up a quarter of a turn and repeat until it looks felt right. A over tensioned belt will lead to belt stretching and wear faster than normal. If the belt starts to stretch you will feel it slipping a bit which will require some more tension etc
Hello, thanks for the video. What are the other screws for? Because I mistakenly adjusted those. Do I adjust them to the maximum? Regarding the belt, what reference do you use to know what the proper tension is?
You do it by eye. If the belt is too loose it will slip when running. If the belt moves to one side it be either too loose one side or to tight. You sure mark the bolt before you info them. Then tighten them back to the original position, then turn it on. Let run for a minute, if you see the belt starting to move off center adjust the bolt depending on which way it moves until the belt doesn’t wander any more and runs true
Thank you so much! Even the manufacturer's set up video on TH-cam didn't explain this. Did you lubricate prior to first use or after the first 3 months of usage?
Thank you for watching! I hope this has helped. I did the 1st lubrication about 6 weeks after the 1st use. But that will really depend on how much or hard you are using your treadmill. Mechanically they are very simple, motor and belt connecting to the main drive roller. These part shouldn’t need much maintenance at all. It’s only the running deck and belt. If you start to notice the running belt become a little noises in use or signs of wear (small amounts of dust etc appearing) then I would start with lubricating the deck. If you can’t used your machine in a while I would also recommend lubricating it before use
Did you need to reduce the tension? With mine I've always just slipped the tube under the belt without loosening it. (obviously I can't wipe it with a towel though!)
Yes you need to loose the tension to full clean and lub across the deck. Marking the bolts and undoing them a certain number will help you getting back to the correct tension
@@lbaz0710 I done mine every other month. But it does depend on how much you use it. As a rule of thumb after a use place your hand in the deck and feel how warm it is and when you notice it is warmer than normal apply the lubricant. I am sure it says in the manual how often
The motor is in the front roller. The hole deck needs lubrication as it’s where the friction is. If not lubricated correctly you will see high wear and have to replace the belt
Great video. I don't suppose you know how to reset/recallibrate this model do you? My incline isn't working and I cannot find out how to get it working. Thank you.
That is mostly the incline motor has a fault. I would recommend calling the rebook helpline. If they can’t help I am they can put you in contact with a technician. When my puppy chews through a wire. They sent me a replacement free of charge
Prounol 100% Pure Treadmill Silicone Oil - 200ml Bottle amzn.eu/d/fyeMaJp I used a Silicone oil like this one. During the summer I am lubricating on treadmill once a month or just 3 weeks depending on how many runs I do

No. It reset each time. I found it easier when I started running in mine to Vblog it. This helped me to stay motivated, record my best times, and I could watch them back to see what worked well or not so well in my sessions.
@@nocluewhattodo21 thanks for your replies appreciated. I’ve just set mine up and noticed a light thumping noise as the belt spin rounds. I’ve noticed your does as well which is good to know. Thanks again for your upload.
That can be quite the challenge. You have to lift the deck up and remove the screws from underneath you will also have to disconnect the elevation mechanism

When your pouring oil on should you pour it in a straight line under the belt. or move your hand Abit so it's poured like a m shap
@@lbaz0710 the main thing is you get an even amount across the running deck board.
@nocluewhattodo21 OK thank you nice video bud
thanks for the upload. any ideas on how best to remove the motor hood on gt40?
It’s a bit of a big job really. You have to detach the running deck incline to get access to the the screws to remove it
My band went off alignment, and i just can't get it back to straight 😢

Hi mate great video, but you undone the bolts 5 turns and did them up 6, what’s the reason for this or was it just a mistake?
Did I? That was mistake then
Hello, I've just purchased one of these treadmills. How often do you have to maintain it and lubricate the belt? Thanks
Depending on the usage but at least once every 3 months

@6.45 sound good but at 6.58 u start to hear a tapping squeaky sound, is that just it lubricating and did it go away after?
That noise is coming from the bearings on the roller. The roller will need replacing at some point.
@@nocluewhattodo21 Thanks. I'm picking up a second hand one and would need to check it n clean it so that's helps to know.
Shouldn’t you lube the deck nearer to the motor as that’s where all the heat is generated?
